Well, for today i had planned spaghetti and meatballs, but then i looked at that meat and didn’t want to eat it. I did make a very good sauce out of those tomatoes, and onions, and bellpepper, and a shit ton of fucking garlic and olive oil.
Less like spagetti and more like brasetta toppings. So, i didn’t really feel like that today either. Ahhhh, man. I got this really sharp pain in the back of my neck. Probably that bitch with my voodoo doll again. Ain’t nothing.
Now. each time you stab a voodoo doll it gets ever so slightly less effective. I guess. Isn’t that the thing. But, someone put a hex on me, so to me one, to you twenty. What you give you shall receive.
If you believe in that sort of thing. I mean, is it not my first amendment right to choose my own religion. Ok, well, then. Why’d you outlaw mine. That’s against my civil rights.
So, i got all these wings from wingstop. I told steven i’d try it. And, he’s right. Super good deal. Like, 20 boneless wings for only just $10. I know they’re just chicken nuggets with wing sauce on them, and i’m find with that
There just ain’t no need of me sitting here and getting wing sauce all over my face and under my nails at work. So, they’re pretty yummy. Idk, first one, just a traditional wing sauce. Whatever looked like it would be what i consider to be buffalo chicken sauce.
This, one. Kinda spicy, like tx pete and butter. That’s buffalo sauce, i prefer franks. But, this is also very good. This is the first time i’ve tried wingstop. It was pretty cheap and all of this looks like it’s going to go well in the air fryer.
It’s like meal prepping. And, when i get tired of these wings, i have garlic bread pizza with pepporonis that i’ve meal prepped. See, meal prep doesn’t mean it has to be healthy or good for you. You can meal prep junk food, too
So, the honey one. I could have used a little pack of honey like popeye’s gives out to put on that. Some kinda honey dip would have been really great with that. I usually have honey on hand, but i’ve not yet outfitted a kitchen. So, you know. Idk.
When i first got here, i didn’t know how long i’d be here, so i didn’t really settle in. mostly i’ve just been eating fast food. And, then on special occasions i door dash something that’s not walking distance. I got a thing, you know, if i can see the restaurant from where i sit, i can’t order that
But, i have. Mcdonalds. But, that was when i had an ice emergency and mostly i just ordered a bunch of large sweet teas. Cause that totally makes it better, but it was a minor inconvenience and i try to just mitigate my own frustration during those kind
Then, i got korean bbq. That’s just bbq. Why korea trying to culturally appropriate bbq. That’s our thing. ‘Merica. You mad over that … um. Police Action. Or, something like that. What the Korean War is technically classifed as by the us.
It’s not “war” - it was .. Police Action on behalf of NATO. so, you know, what is kim jong um but our own failed foreign policies in action. Right.

Oh, that last one was spicy, maybe that’s what they mean by korean bbq. I could use some cole slaw. In that meal kit, i have slaw ingredients but no mayo. Or, anything that could even be used in the place of mayo. I only have some shredded cabbage and none of the rest of the ingredients for cole slaw.
Mayo, sugar, vinegar. I have sugar, so i have 50% of the ingredients needed, and tbh, if i just had vinegar i’d go with it, like a little pickled cabbage, it would be very nice with this.
Which is crazy, cause that’s all usually stuff i have at home, pantry staples. Vinegar is a real big pantry stable, i have mustard. Just, i need more ingredients. I like to concoct my own sauces
So, those veggies look like the person who chopped them really hates chopping veg. I’d rather do that than husk corn. I got some corn.
Not a popular menu item, i’m guessing. It was still good. There’s not a lot of sides. Those carrots and celery were chopped like we don’t give a fuck about this dumb shit and then rolled like silverware. I actually quite like it.
It’s like the wing restaurant said fuck you for asking for such a thing. I mean, that’s probably the right attitude to have, i guess. I think it’s great. I mean, i’m not even being sarcastic.
I could really use some potato salad and cole slaw, and maybe some baked beans. I feel like i could put the korean bbq ones, oh, i see the difference now. I feel like, i should put that with some steamed veggies and maybe some rice and call it a meal. That sauce would be so good on rice.
So, yeah, this is now how i meal prep chicken nuggets. Like, the broccoli and rice or ramen, i do have on hand, so i can make that happen. Tomorrow. I can buy little packs of my sister’s potato salad at the grocery store. Honey, vinegar. All totally things they sell at the grocery store.
I’m feeling like i should have gotten the fries with the stuff piled on. Cheese and bacon and things of that nature. Idk, it was really good. Maybe next time, i’ll get all naked wings and little cups of all the sauces.
And, have cole slaw on hand. I just feel like i could have used it.
However, i gotta say that the most disappointing thing has to be that that nashville hot isn’t a option on the menu when you order chicken tenders from kfc. Idk why that’s not more popular. It’s served with a pickel and yummy as fuck. Idk what it is, it’s like some kinda dry rubbed then dipped in grease, i guess. It’s real super yummy.
Idk, when i order from kfc it’s not on the app. Very sad, sad, sad days indeed.

I have zero privacy of them. None. and, all that personal information they gather up about me. Well, they use to demean me via social media. Make fun. Bully.
When you see it … who it is. Who’s done this thing. You’ll know them and you’ll be sickened.
A lot of powerful people have put a lot of their time, effort, and energy making sure that no one ever finds out. All of it. I’ve not said the best part. That’s the secret.

There’s no randomization in that, everything that’s pushed to you is sponsored. Someone’s paying for you to watch that in the hopes that you get hooked on their content, subscribe to their page, and they can get some of that sweet, sweet, sweet ad revenue.
But, to start out - they gotta pay up. And, that’s why most of the people that you see in those type clips are quite obviously very well off. It’s rare that you see someone broke. So, if you’re seeing someone broke do it, they ain’t had the money to push content to your demographic.
That’s talent. Like that girl who makes the coffee in her grandmother’s kitchen. Fascinating.

When my youngest was little he really liked those captain underpants books. Like, 1st and 2nd grade and he really liked them, and i wanted to encourage reading. So, i got him a whole bunch of them for christmas, but my middle child also exists and i like for things to be equal, but he was too old for those books.
So, instead i bought him the books in his grade level that had been banned. Or, grade level presidential biographies. The founding fathers get brought up a lot when people are trying to sway you to their bullshit, they’ll hold them up as examples of what they’re selling
It’s best to get to know them on a deep and personal level and know George Washington totally wasn’t like that. He was general that lead armies. Didn’t have a strong opinion one way or another about how people should live their own personal lives. Just believed in the taxation without representation thing.
Like, as a real rich guy he was upset that he had to pay so much taxes to the british and support the royalty and felt so strongly about that he wished to fight over it. Had a war, to free themselves of the unfair taxation.

Hey everyone, welcome to Singapore!
This guide was inspired by u/Aframovici Bucharest survival guide. I know this is a little late, but hopefully this will help those that are here. Let me know what else a tourist would want to know. Hopefully the mods can pin this up to help those in Singapore.
This will be split into several chapters (All prices in Singapore Dollars):
Important information you may want to know:
Singapore is a small city-state. Public transport system is affordable and excellent and will bring you to most places in our country within an hour. Taxis and private hire transport (Grab/Gojek; Uber has been absorbed by Grab). Our train lines (known as MRT) cover practically the entire island, from the airport to major tourist attractions and event sites. Public buses are clean and useful for travelling to less touristy areas.
Accomodations:
Honestly if you have yet to book your accommodations then you should be prepared to pay a premium rate. If you can afford it and want to meet the players, Fairmont is your best choice as I know some players are housed there (from Dubu’s vlog and chancing upon Polaris after their despair exit). Other expensive hotels (from $200 per night) are widely available.
For cheaper options (below $150 per night), try Hotel 81, Ibis Hotel, RedDoorz; or one that is further away from our city centre.
For the Saudi prince, Capella is available from $1000; please bring me along thank you.
Please explore more options yourself. I’m not knowledgeable in this.
Food and Beverage:
Singapore is a food haven and only our Malaysian counterparts would disagree. Plenty of cheap eats (~$5 for a meal) and fancy restaurants for you to choose from. Honestly, food of all cuisines can be found in our country, so take your time and try more stuff! Hawker Centres (~$7 for food and non-alcoholic drink): The best local foods are in hawker centres, go for the full Singapore experience. No street food cart in Singapore as they are regulated to ensure hygiene. All our vendors are hosted in hawker centres where you can get many different eats at one place! It’s free seating, and if you see tissue packets/umbrellas/name cards on the table, it means it is taken (aka chope!), move along and find an empty one. After you find a seat, chope it with an object (bag etc.) or just have someone else sit down while the rest go and buy their food. Usually it is self-service, just order at the stall and wait around to collect it, then back to your table to eat. After you are done, remember to return your trays to the collection point located around the centre. Not sure what to eat? Just follow the local queue, it will not go wrong. Below is the list of centres located near tourist hotspot or prime locations. Typically cash only.
Coffeeshops (aka kopitiam) (~$7 for food and non-alcoholic drink): Coffeeshops are not Starbuck etc. that you know. These are mini-hawker centres, typically more common in the heartlands. A hawker centre will have more than 20 stalls easily, but coffeeshops usually have less than 10. Same concept applies from hawker centres - free seating, self-service, clearing your trays, follow the queue. You may not see that many on your visit as I don’t think they are that common in touristy areas. Typically cash only.
Food Courts (~$12 for food and non-alcoholic drink): Located in almost every shopping mall, food courts are the air-conditioned version of hawker centres/coffeeshops. They serve similar food, but at a premium due to the location and comfort it brings. Once again, the same concept applies. Cards may be accepted in some food courts.
Fast food chains (~$10 for food and non-alcoholic drink): Mcdonald’s, KFC, Jollibee, Texas Chicken, Popeyes, Long John Silver, Subway, Wingstop, Shake Shack - we have them all. Common in most shopping malls and highly affordable (except SS). At Macdonald’s try our McSpicy - the pride of local Mcdonalds. It’s a spicy crispy chicken sandwich that you will love! If spice isn't your thing, the buttermilk chicken burger is an equally good/superior alternative. Gareth and Godz mentioned the former in one of their cast!
Shopping Malls ($ varies): They are literally everywhere in Singapore. We have a mall addiction here. Just google and find the nearest one to your location. In each mall there will be many restaurants, cafes, eateries, bakeries, 1 or 2 food courts, and fast food chains.
Restaurants (varies): Honestly, they are everywhere. Just google “good restaurants near me” and you will have plenty of choices. From local restaurant chains to Michelin restaurants, you should have no problem locating one on google. You should be able to find food from all cuisines, but I’m local so I’m just gonna throw my recommendations on restaurants/eateries chains that specialise in local food:
With the exception of Ya Kun, Old Chang Kee, Bengawan Solo, and maybe one of the seafood places, I think you should spend your food money on hawker centres/food courts instead as they are more value for money and have better local flavours.
Nightlife (varies on food and drinks ordered, at least $40 per person): I found a pretty comprehensive list here. Will go ahead and summarise and try to value-add down below:
Coffee, tea, and snack (~$10): Starbucks and Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf are aplenty in Singapore. But try our local coffee places - Ya Kun, ToastBox, and Fun Toast for more local coffee! Most malls or roadside coffee houses will have the caffeine or snack that you need.
Must try local food: There are way too many and I’m a little tired. So I’m gonna make it bingo-style so please go try them all!
Places to Visit: Due to the geographical size of Singapore, we have mostly man-made attractions. I have categorised it into 4 categories: Concrete Jungle, Touch Grass, Sentosa, and Pubstomps. All locations are on Google Maps. There could be many more that I missed, please Google to find what suits your interest.

- Hot and Humid. That’s Singapore all year round with a chance of a drizzle or torrential nightmare.

This guide was inspired by u/Aframovici Bucharest survival guide. I know this is a little late, but hopefully this will help those that are here. Let me know what else a tourist would want to know. Hopefully the mods can pin this up to help those in Singapore.

Important information you may want to know:
- Language: Speak English. Most Singaporeans 50 years old and under speak English (our main language). We are generally good with American, British (except Scouse), and Aussie accents. Majority of people here have a second language (Mandarin, Bahasa Melayu, or Tamil). Most signages you see will be in English, except for some food stall names. To fully get in the SG experience, learn some Singlish (Singaporean-English).
- Culture: People here are generally nice to tourists. Ask and help will be given, especially the younger ones (20s – 30s). If we ask where you are from, we are just generally curious with no ill-intention. We are quiet and tend to our own business. Being overly-loud in public can be deemed as a nuisance and attract stares.
- Money: We use Singapore dollars only (SGD). Money changers are available in most malls (google is your best friend). Mastercard/visa are also widely accepted, except in hawker centres/food courts.
- Mobile data: Check out various options: Singtel, M1, Starhub. More alternatives like pocket WIFI available here.
- Crime: DO NOT BRING DRUGS OF ANY KIND INTO SINGAPORE. Singapore is generally safe. Not much serious crime is done because of efficient police and a heck load of CCTVs, just look around any train station and you will know. We are a really small island where a manhunt takes less than 1 day. Ladies walking alone late at night is generally safe, but you should always still be careful. You will see people leaving their laptops, bags, and items in cafés or coffee shops – those that are used to hold the seat, do not take them! Just go find another seat. DO NOT BRING DRUGS OF ANY KIND INTO SINGAPORE.
- Weather: Our weather is described as hot and humid. In October, it will probably be hot and humid, even if it rains. Bring shorts and t-shirts for non-game days and when walking around. Bring a small carry umbrella if you can, it will save your life. Carry a water bottle around to hydrate.
- LGBT+ stuff: We repealed the “gay sex = illegal” law recently. But even before that, it was never enforced as even the government know it is stupid. Have fun!
Singapore is a small city-state. Public transport system is affordable and excellent and will bring you to most places in our country within an hour. Taxis and private hire transport (Grab/Gojek; Uber has been absorbed by Grab). Our train lines (known as MRT) cover practically the entire island, from the airport to major tourist attractions and event sites. Public buses are clean and useful for travelling to less touristy areas.
- Train and Buses ($2-3 per ride): Use this train map to guide your journey. Find out how to get from one place to another by using this website. Buy a stored-value transport card at MRT stations and top-up for use; the same card can be used for trains and buses. Alternatively, use your mastercard/visa to tap and go. Services typically end at around 10.30pm - 11.30pm.
- Taxi and private hire transport ($10 - $35 per trip): Download the Grab/Zig/Gojek mobile app to book transport easily. Flag-down is also available at typically a cheaper rate; flag-down only goes by metre charge. Suitable for late-night travels when public transport is no longer available.
- Walking: Near Suntec Arena and Indoor Stadium, there are a few malls and attractions that you may want to visit. Walking is definitely do-able thanks to traffic lights, underpasses etc. Bring a foldable umbrella as our weather is unpredictable. Shorts are also advised due to our humid weather.
- Car renting ($$$): I do not advise as it is expensive and troublesome. And needless.

Accomodations:
Honestly if you have yet to book your accommodations then you should be prepared to pay a premium rate. If you can afford it and want to meet the players, Fairmont is your best choice as I know some players are housed there (from Dubu’s vlog and chancing upon Polaris after their despair exit). Other expensive hotels (from $200 per night) are widely available.
For cheaper options (below $150 per night), try Hotel 81, Ibis Hotel, RedDoorz; or one that is further away from our city centre.
For the Saudi prince, Capella is available from $1000; please bring me along thank you.
Please explore more options yourself. I’m not knowledgeable in this.

- Changi Jewel - I’m fucking proud to have this architectural marvel in my country. This giant mall is full of food, entertainment stuff, shopping, and generally just a great place to shop around before your departure.
- Orchard Shopping Belt - Singapore is a playground for the rich. Access all the premium brands in just 1 shopping street. This stretch of road has about 10 malls full of a variety of brands.
- Marina Bay Sands Singapore - Need I say more? Another architectural marvel. Full of premium brands as well as a casino. You can find top restaurants near here too.
- ArtScience Museum - Also featured in TI Teaser. Some cool exhibitions that you might want to see.
- Merlion - Come marvel at a half-fish, half-lion spit out water.
- Museums - We have more museums that might interest you. Check them out here.
- Gardens by the Bay - Also featured in TI teaser. I actually think the supertrees and both domes are pretty cool. They have exhibitions as well.
- Haw Par Villa - A really weird but cool outdoor exhibition.
- Singapore Zoo and Night Safari - You can spend an entire day here with the two parks. I honestly think our Zoos are pretty darn cool. Great for animal lovers as they have animal shows and feeding sessions.
- East Coast Park - Rent a bike and ride along this park to the Marina bay area. It is actually a great evening activity to take in the views and sweat it out.
- Pulau Ubin - Offshore island that you can take a ferry to visit. There is some wetland reserve and biking route. Great for a disconnect, but not my kind of thing.
- Singapore Botanic Gardens - UNESCO Heritage site. If you are really into floral and fauna, this is a good place to picnic.
- Universal Studios Singapore - For rides and thrills.
- Adventure Cove Waterpark - Been here once. This is a pretty fun waterpark with some rides and more!
- Madame Tussauds - Honestly I wasn’t really impressed during my last visit.
- Skyline Luge - It was a pretty cool experience. Not too expensive either.
- Trickeye @ Southside - Cool and chill museum for something quirky.
- Beaches at Sentosa - There are multiple beaches with different beach clubs. Good for those that want some suntanning or checking out the sea view.
- Reality Rift Arena - Need to pay. But seems like the best place to watch as it’s a dedicated LAN cafe meant to host such events.
- Frank by OCBC - Watch party hosted by a Bank in one of their branches. They even have goodie bags for you - which I assume is all Bank related merch. Pre-register required.
- SAFRA Yishun - For finals only. Registration required.
- Team SMG Pubstomp - It says it's free. But I would be wary that they forgot to book the place or kick you out for unfortunate reasons. Sign-up required and free goodie bag.
- OG TI11 Hub - Hosted at Secretlab Global HQ. Free and sign-up is required. After party also available. Apparently you need to say what being invited to their TI party means to you, which is kind of off-putting to me.

Hey ya’ll, when I first moved here last year one of the first things I did was search this subreddit for a list of good restaurants in the area. I did find a pretty good list (link), but it was already 4 years old at the time and with the pandemic some of the stores had either closed or declined in quality.Since I didn’t have a kitchen my first year on campus, I ended up eating at pretty much all of the restaurants on the list and found a few good ones on my own. So here’s my list of places you should try out if you’re living on/around campus:
ASIAN
Bento $ - Far from the best asian food on this list, but also a cheap option. Pretty much a bougie panda express. Definitely worth checking out.Panda Express $ - I would barely consider this asian food but it’s a cheap option on campus that can scratch the itch.
Pho So 1 $ - Best pho in the area. Very large portions.
Taipei 101 $$ - Really good taiwanese street food. I recommend ordering whatever their daily special is, they’ll be written on the blackboard behind the counter and you’ll get more for your money.
Kimchis $$ - Best Korean BBQ in the area. Good atmosphere, fairly priced. I recommend their chicken/pork katsu or their beef bulgogi.
Mamak $$$ - Best Pad Thai in the area. I also recommend their coconut kari. However, it is expensive - arguably even overpriced for how much food you’re getting. But I think it’s worth trying at least once.
DOMU Chibi Ramen $$ - Really good noodles. This is probably my favorite restaurant in the area. In a perfect world where I didn’t have to worry about money or gaining weight, I would eat here every day. Warning: ruined cup ramen for me.
Pokestop $$ - My go-to place for poke bowls. I recommend their Citrus Salmon Bowl.
Fuji Yama Sushi $$ - Good sushi. Go here between 12-3 for their sushi lunch special.
Luya Chinese Restaurant $ - This is the best chinese take-out in the area. Also very fairly priced. Try their fried dumplings.
MEDITERRANEAN / INDIAN
Giovanni's Italian $$ - Best Italian in the area (to be fair, there aren’t too many options). Really recommend their chicken parmigiana and baked ziti.
Habibi UCF $$ - Go here for shawarma.Ahmed $$ - If you’re craving indian, go here. HIGHLY recommend any of their biryani, but pretty much everything on the menu is a great order.
Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe $$ - Best greek food in the area. All of their gyros are good, choose the pasta salad or basmati rice when picking a homemade side.
MEXICAN / HISPANIC
(Just a heads up: I haven’t actually gone to that many hispanic places because I come from a hispanic family, and after eating the food pretty much every day for as long as I can remember, I haven’t really had any cravings for it).
Qdoba $ - It’s just chipotle but better. On campus in the student union, I ate this way too often my first semester. I recommend getting a bowl instead of a burrito, you get more food for less money.
Gringos Locos $$ - It’s alright. Just slightly better than chipotle and qdoba, but it’s open until 3 am so do with that information as you will. I recommend their “Double D’s” or “Mouth Hugger”.
Tin and Taco $$ - Just a better Gringos Locos. Worth the drive to Waterford Plaza if you’re in the mood for tacos.
Tijuana Flats $$ - This is probably the best mexican food I’ve had so far, but a bit more expensive than the other options. Get a burrito and chips and guac.
CHICKEN
Huey Magoo’s $ - Really good chicken. In fact, I would even argue the best chicken. Chick-fil-a doesn’t hold a candle to their chicken. Their texas toast is probably imported from heaven. I can not stress how much you should try this place. Also very well priced.
Tenders $$ - Probably the best chicken sandwiches in the area. If you just want tenders go to Huey’s, but if you want a sandwich go here. Also their logo kinda looks like a penis and you can’t convince me it wasn’t intentional.Island Wing Company $$ - I think this is the best place for wings in the immediate area.
WingStop $ - Cheap wings. Order from here for parties.
BURGERS / SANDWICHES
BurgerU $$ - Your on campus option.
BurgerFi $$ - Probably the best burgers in the area, but a little expensive. Highly recommend the CEO. Offers impossible/veggie burgers.
Five Guys $ - It’s FiveGuys. If you haven’t been here before, what are you doing?
Toasted $$ - While they do have burgers, which are very good, I recommend going here for their grilled cheese sandwiches. Everything on the menu is worth ordering, up to your tastes; however, I really recommend their truffle fries over their regular fries. Offers impossible burgers.
Subway $ - It’s the cheapest option, and it’s on campus. But if you don’t mind spending an extra few dollars for WAY better subs, go to publix.
Publix Deli $$ - I would kill a man for the chicken tender sub.
White Castle $ - Orlando proudly hosts the only White Castle™ in the state! Don’t actually go here lol
PIZZA
Lazy Moon $$ - Best option, but pricey. Would not order for a party, but a good place to go with a group of friends and eat some really good pizza.
Blaze Pizza $ - If you don’t know what this place is, it’s pretty much just subway but for pizza.
Domino’s $ - It’s the pizza option that’s actually on campus. Open late. This is your delivery option. (Also, it sounds weird but I really recommend their philly cheesesteak specialty pizza. Just trust me)
DESSERT
Ice N Bites $ - Boba tea and ice cream. Really good atmosphere, perfect place to go with a friend or two and just chill and drink sugar. Highly recommend getting a blended drink with a milk base. (I also recommend trying their tofu bites, even if you don’t normally like tofu)
Chewy Boba $ - Also boba tea; I’d honestly say their boba tastes better, so if you’re ordering to go you should probably buy it here. However, it is a little more expensive and the atmosphere isn’t as nice as Ice N Bites.
Nitrogen Ice Cream $$ - Really good ice cream. You NEED to try this place at least once - they use liquid nitrogen to make their ice cream, and imma be honest I have no clue how the science works on this one but it makes it taste much richer and the texture is much nicer than regular ice cream. However, it is a little pricier than other ice cream options in the area. Fair warning - order a small. You will not finish anything larger.
Rolled Ice Cream $$ - It’s ice cream that's been rolled up. I’m not sure why they do it but it makes for some good instagram content. However, what you should really go to this place for is their milkshakes.
Coldstone $ - It’s coldstone. Cheapest option, but reliable.
Sweet by Holly $$$ - The best damn cupcakes I’ve ever had. They are really pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. Highly recommend their strawberry and oreo cupcakes.
Jeremiah's Italian Ice $ - Really good italian ice. They have a huge variety of favors and are very fairly priced, as well as multiple locations within 15 minutes of campus.
OTHER
Fresh Kitchen $$ - Really good food you won’t feel bad about eating. Healthiest option on this list.

Bento $ - Far from the best asian food on this list, but also a cheap option. Pretty much a bougie panda express. Definitely worth checking out.Panda Express $ - I would barely consider this asian food but it’s a cheap option on campus that can scratch the itch.
Pho So 1 $ - Best pho in the area. Very large portions.
Taipei 101 $$ - Really good taiwanese street food. I recommend ordering whatever their daily special is, they’ll be written on the blackboard behind the counter and you’ll get more for your money.
Kimchis $$ - Best Korean BBQ in the area. Good atmosphere, fairly priced. I recommend their chicken/pork katsu or their beef bulgogi.
Mamak $$$ - Best Pad Thai in the area. I also recommend their coconut kari. However, it is expensive - arguably even overpriced for how much food you’re getting. But I think it’s worth trying at least once.
DOMU Chibi Ramen $$ - Really good noodles. This is probably my favorite restaurant in the area. In a perfect world where I didn’t have to worry about money or gaining weight, I would eat here every day. Warning: ruined cup ramen for me.
Pokestop $$ - My go-to place for poke bowls. I recommend their Citrus Salmon Bowl.
Fuji Yama Sushi $$ - Good sushi. Go here between 12-3 for their sushi lunch special.
Luya Chinese Restaurant $ - This is the best chinese take-out in the area. Also very fairly priced. Try their fried dumplings.
MEDITERRANEAN / INDIAN
Giovanni's Italian $$ - Best Italian in the area (to be fair, there aren’t too many options). Really recommend their chicken parmigiana and baked ziti.
Habibi UCF $$ - Go here for shawarma.Ahmed $$ - If you’re craving indian, go here. HIGHLY recommend any of their biryani, but pretty much everything on the menu is a great order.
Taziki's Mediterranean Cafe $$ - Best greek food in the area. All of their gyros are good, choose the pasta salad or basmati rice when picking a homemade side.
MEXICAN / HISPANIC
(Just a heads up: I haven’t actually gone to that many hispanic places because I come from a hispanic family, and after eating the food pretty much every day for as long as I can remember, I haven’t really had any cravings for it).
Qdoba $ - It’s just chipotle but better. On campus in the student union, I ate this way too often my first semester. I recommend getting a bowl instead of a burrito, you get more food for less money.
Gringos Locos $$ - It’s alright. Just slightly better than chipotle and qdoba, but it’s open until 3 am so do with that information as you will. I recommend their “Double D’s” or “Mouth Hugger”.
Tin and Taco $$ - Just a better Gringos Locos. Worth the drive to Waterford Plaza if you’re in the mood for tacos.
Tijuana Flats $$ - This is probably the best mexican food I’ve had so far, but a bit more expensive than the other options. Get a burrito and chips and guac.
CHICKEN
Huey Magoo’s $ - Really good chicken. In fact, I would even argue the best chicken. Chick-fil-a doesn’t hold a candle to their chicken. Their texas toast is probably imported from heaven. I can not stress how much you should try this place. Also very well priced.
Tenders $$ - Probably the best chicken sandwiches in the area. If you just want tenders go to Huey’s, but if you want a sandwich go here. Also their logo kinda looks like a penis and you can’t convince me it wasn’t intentional.Island Wing Company $$ - I think this is the best place for wings in the immediate area.
WingStop $ - Cheap wings. Order from here for parties.
BURGERS / SANDWICHES
BurgerU $$ - Your on campus option.
BurgerFi $$ - Probably the best burgers in the area, but a little expensive. Highly recommend the CEO. Offers impossible/veggie burgers.
Five Guys $ - It’s FiveGuys. If you haven’t been here before, what are you doing?
Toasted $$ - While they do have burgers, which are very good, I recommend going here for their grilled cheese sandwiches. Everything on the menu is worth ordering, up to your tastes; however, I really recommend their truffle fries over their regular fries. Offers impossible burgers.
Subway $ - It’s the cheapest option, and it’s on campus. But if you don’t mind spending an extra few dollars for WAY better subs, go to publix.
Publix Deli $$ - I would kill a man for the chicken tender sub.
White Castle $ - Orlando proudly hosts the only White Castle™ in the state! Don’t actually go here lol
PIZZA
Lazy Moon $$ - Best option, but pricey. Would not order for a party, but a good place to go with a group of friends and eat some really good pizza.
Blaze Pizza $ - If you don’t know what this place is, it’s pretty much just subway but for pizza.
Domino’s $ - It’s the pizza option that’s actually on campus. Open late. This is your delivery option. (Also, it sounds weird but I really recommend their philly cheesesteak specialty pizza. Just trust me)
DESSERT
Ice N Bites $ - Boba tea and ice cream. Really good atmosphere, perfect place to go with a friend or two and just chill and drink sugar. Highly recommend getting a blended drink with a milk base. (I also recommend trying their tofu bites, even if you don’t normally like tofu)
Chewy Boba $ - Also boba tea; I’d honestly say their boba tastes better, so if you’re ordering to go you should probably buy it here. However, it is a little more expensive and the atmosphere isn’t as nice as Ice N Bites.
Nitrogen Ice Cream $$ - Really good ice cream. You NEED to try this place at least once - they use liquid nitrogen to make their ice cream, and imma be honest I have no clue how the science works on this one but it makes it taste much richer and the texture is much nicer than regular ice cream. However, it is a little pricier than other ice cream options in the area. Fair warning - order a small. You will not finish anything larger.
Rolled Ice Cream $$ - It’s ice cream that's been rolled up. I’m not sure why they do it but it makes for some good instagram content. However, what you should really go to this place for is their milkshakes.
Coldstone $ - It’s coldstone. Cheapest option, but reliable.
Sweet by Holly $$$ - The best damn cupcakes I’ve ever had. They are really pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. Highly recommend their strawberry and oreo cupcakes.
Jeremiah's Italian Ice $ - Really good italian ice. They have a huge variety of favors and are very fairly priced, as well as multiple locations within 15 minutes of campus.
OTHER
Fresh Kitchen $$ - Really good food you won’t feel bad about eating. Healthiest option on this list.

I don't know if I am crazy, but I feel dominos may have the best wings for any chain. The only thing I feel it lacks is the sauce, I get the hot buffalo wings and the sauce tastes pretty generic but the wing itself is incredibly good and for a very solid price when ordering off the 2 or more for $5.99 menu. \
I feel if you took Dominos wings and paired them with WingStops dry rubs and sauces, they would be the best on the market. No idea how a pizza oven produces wings this good but I always get wings when I order from here. They are big and nearly fall off the bone, just wish the sauces were less "generic".

I was going to order wingstop today, but noticed on DoorDash the jalapeño cheese sauce is no where to be found on the menu? What gives? Going to pass on the wingstop today now. Dipping the buns and fries in the cheese sauce with some garlic parm and honey mustard drums was my favorite. I need my cheese fries this afternoon going to have to get something else.

The fact that ThighStop is only available on DoorDash is the reason I will not be getting it. DoorDash upcharges menu items for their equivalent of "service fees" (even with the pickup option) and completely destroys the idea that the thighs are cheaper for Wingstop and the customer by lining DoorDash's pockets with what those savings would be. Lower costs = higher volume; that's how the balance of food cost works in foodservice. honestly, with them pulling a move like this I think I have almost no reason to go there since the product I would prefer is only available to me in a predatory way.

They are always the lowest tippers and longest distances. I never buy from them but I highly suspect they have the cheapest menu.
I don't take their orders even if I just dropped off an order across the street. Its fucking $3-3.50 all day, every day, with their orders. I'll get em on the west side too so I can't be the only one for it to get bounced to me half the city away?

Like damn, guess nobody on glenstone or sunshine or west central or downtown or nixa/ozark wanted your PoS no tip. Every single time though, even on their side of town, CreAsian is the shittiest no tip orders. I can be on the north side of Kearney's wingstop and get their shit orders. Decline every fucking time.
