I’m starting to wonder if my back pain and constant state of being tired is due to PAWS. I’ve been clean off of kratom for 89 days and only drink alcohol (3-4 beers if I do drink) and weed maybe a puff or two for sleep if I do take anything. I’m constantly exhausted and in some sort of back pain especially at work. I’ve been cautious to post anything because I don’t want to discourage anyone from quitting but I just want to know how common this is. I was never this bad before I took kratom daily but now after quitting I’m just different. Thanks for any input. Love you guys!

Seems silly to post this when other people are posting significant stuff but its been stuck in my head all night. I was recently feeling depressed about shitty life issues when a friend of mine tried cheering me up, and told me he planned to play a new switch game later tonight with a mutual friend of our and he invited me. I told him id download the game and let him know when it was set. After it was done and i messaged him i was free whenever, i heard nothing back. Checking my switch i saw both of them playing the game and immediately my depression and dark thoughts kicked in. Did they purposely ignore me? Is it possible they simply didnt see my msg and forgot? How should i react? Should i even bother telling them i saw them playing? It seems silly and childish but it really hurt and i wasnt doing great emotionally b4 hand. Just needed to put it out there or else itd be on my mind all night

Alright, I don't have much time, I am currently hiding in a cramped-up closet. I can hear it moving outside my room. You're most likely wondering how I got here, or why I don't have time. Well here is my story. One sunny California day, I was sitting on my lumpy couch with a new phone I had just bought. It had all the important apps I would spend most of my days on (Youtube, Tiktok, etc.) But I was too lazy to insert a SIM card into my phone. I was checking some Youtube, then over to TikTok repeat like what I always do. Eventually, I decided to put the SIM card into my phone so I can add my parents' numbers and my friends as well. I glance over to the counter where I had left the SIM and lazily get up from the couch as its leather detaches from my skin.
It's only a few steps from the couch but for some reason, it felt longer, maybe it was my laziness or tiredness but it felt as if you were walking up a never-ending staircase. Eventually, I reached the marble counter, but instead of the SIM card being there, there was nothing! "Must have misplaced it?" I thought, trying to come up with a reason. I closed my eyes for a long blink before jogging over to my closet, things always got lost in there. For some reason though, I couldn't shake off the feeling of being watched.
As I was miles deep into the pile of clothes I heard, a few steps away from me *BUZZZZ* The very distinct sound of my phone ringing "Must be my imagination" I murmured. My entire body was covered by this point. Then I hear the same sound again, then again, then again. Eventually, I get fed up with the ringing and burst out of the sea of clothes. And trudge over to my still-ringing phone.
"19 Missed Calls" it reads. "Odd" I blurted out loudly. I pick up my phone with a sense of urgency. *BUZZZZ* Another call rings in. I've seen enough horror movies to know to not pick up the phone. *RING* It goes, I had got a text, "Let me in!" It read. I looked at my phone in fear, I have no idea why, but still, it sent chills down my spine. Just then an Amber Alert set off in my phone "Masked killer seems to be stalking around (they said my neighbourhood)" it read. I almost screamed. But I managed to stay calm and ran into my bedroom.
I ran so fast I almost knocked down a picture of my mom- we had just had her funeral last Tuesday. When I got into my room I closed my window and locked my door. *BUZZZZ* my phone went, I decided to be a man and answered it, and all I could hear was low breathing, then another Amber Alert "Masked killer has been sighted outside of (they said my address)" My heart pounded, I ran into the closet I am in now, and here is where my story resumes, "Honey, come out now" A familiar voice says outside, another Amber Alert rings on my phone "Masked killer can replicate voices, STAY AWAY" it reads. I remember the voice now, it's my mom's. "Honey, it is ok" My mom repeats. I have to open the door now, goodbye. My mom is home...

rewatching the show and wow has my opinion changed from years ago i used to find bridget adorable and kendra annoying. anyways something that bugged me is how bridget cried over the kendra and holly playboy pictorial then told hef she was unhappy causing a reshoot, while kendra had a totally diff reaction when she wasnt included in the captain morgan ad, she didnt cry pout or get upset she was basically like oh that sucks, but i feel like bridget should have kept the same energy and they shouldnt have done it since there brand was the 3 of them, idk just struck a nerve might delete this later.. also i feel like holly tried to hard to be cute and quirky with the space buns, chops sticks at dinner. lastly kendra did not get a good edit at all they showed her as an irresponsible 20 year old but she was young and free spirited and had alot of personailty, she was always kind to holly when holly was making snarky uncalled remarks about kendra.. lol okay now im done i know its not that serious so what does everyone else think rewatching the show?

I want a genuine friendship with my former friend with benefits. We casually saw each other for 4 months and I decided to drop the "B" off of our FWB arrangement recently. I told him I'd like to have a friendship that doesn't fade and he responded, "Okay but I can't promise that it won't fade because I have a hard time forming a meaningful connection." I ended the casual partnership because it isn't for me and I caught feelings for him (I'm a hopeless romantic). We won't be compatible in a serious relationship so I don't see the point of mentioning my romantic feelings. He told me he's emotionally unavailable and does not want a relationship because it's not a priority for him.
I know that staying as friends with your romantic interest is a bad idea but I truly want to be good friends with him. I think for me to do that I need to take some time away from him until we can have true friendship with no hidden intention. I'm not keeping him around as an option or have this hope that he'll "come around". I wanna have him in my life because his lifestyle is different to mine and he has a different take on things. I've always surrounded myself with likeminded people and I think it would benefit me to be open to being friends with different types of people.

Although he agreed to be friends, something tells me that he doesn't want to get to know me as a person. I can tell when someone wants to be friends with me when they ask me questions to get to know me better; he doesn't do that. Disclaimer: I'm just some guy, who just got off work, is smoking a doobie, and trying to contemplate the future of web3. (i.e., I don't know shit about fuck). I just wanted to share some thoughts and engage in light discussion. If I'm completely wrong here, whatever.
Many people, including myself have mixed feelings towards coins and tokens with unlimited max supplies. But I've been thinking lately that maybe an unlimited supply of Atom is not such a bad thing from a certain point of view. This perspective focuses more on the long term utility of the network as opposed to strictly price action.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the security of the Cosmos network is proportional to the amount of Atom staked. The more atom staked, the more secure the network. New Atom are minted during the validation of new blocks, some are sold to pay the bills, and some is compounded increasing the amount of Atom staked. Atom sold also equates to atom bought, and I imagine most retail investors like ourselves are going to stake the purchased atom (thereby slowly but surely increasing the security of the network over time, yes?).
Repeat this process for years, even a decade or more. Yes, many more Atom were minted thereby increasing the supply, but there is also a steady increase in the amount of Atom staked. Therefore the security of the network is in a constant state of increasing security. Why is this possibly an amazing consequence of an unlimited supply of Atom? Let's say the percentage of Atom staked remains largely constant over time (say like 60-70%) for arguments sake. Now lets do a little limit calculus and maybe some "infinity math".
The security of the network in the limit of an infinite supply of Atom (assuming the above assumptions hold) is going to tend to infinity as well. 60% of infinity is basically infinity, yes?
It stands to reason then, that Atom is working just as intended. We are constantly tending towards a network of greater security. We (Cosmos) are literally selling this idea in the form of replicated security to other chains. When chains come aboard and purchase this security from us, we will get paid in their native token as staking rewards in addition to more Atom.
Looking at it from this perspective, the price action of Atom is seemingly irrelevant. The idea for investors is to stack and stake as much Atom as possible to reap higher rewards from these other chains buying our replicated security. Fast forward a decade and imagine how many new (and solid) chains are going to join the IBC and opt into replicated security. Before we know it, we will be paid in countless tokens which will have their own price action and moon potential. So we can forget about selling the Atom rewards; just compound it so we increase the security and get higher rewards in other tokens. Then just trade those tokens and take profit. It's a beautiful circle.
From this point of view, it's almost in the best interest of Atom holders for the price to remain largely constant over time (i.e., Atom doesn't moon so we can accumulate more easily, add to the security of the network, making replicated security even more desirable, thus reaping more rewards from an ever-expanding network).

Turn Based and Command based JRPGs are really the only thing I play. I find that I’ve always struggled to remember what I need to do next to an extent, and increasing the speed at which I need to do it only exacerbates that.
In Action Games like DevilMayCry, especially when you have many options at your disposal at a given moment, and where you need to make frequent inputs to do well, I REALLY struggle. When there are so few new AAA Turn/Command-based RPGs nowadays with the frankly emasculate pedigree of the traditional Final Fantasy’s, it was heartbreaking for me to hear that Final Fantasy 16 would go down this route. It felt like I was going to not enjoy something that mattered so much to me, because I felt unable to.
However, I am going to try my hardest. I love this series because of everything else there is to them as well, and it would be genuinely silly to not experience those things because I don’t think I can do something.
Also, previous Final Fantasy’s had combat that was methodical strategy, ignoring their implementation; you wait, you take an action, there is an execution delay, the action is physically performed, repeat per character. In a way, this is essentially how most games work I think…action games have a much faster cycle. Maybe there’s just something I need to know that will help me make decisions faster?
It would be appreciated eternally if I could receive your many ideas, philosophies, concepts, tips, suggestions, and previous title comparisons as possible that may teach me how to play action games. In particular, I find I can’t remember what button does what at a given moment, and often struggle with knowing what to do next of so many options immediately.

I’ve been thinking a long time about how this game could be reworked and made better and not as rage inducing for people like me.
I’m a HIGHLY competitive person, and enjoy this great game but at the end of the day, tilting/rage quitting can get very real. I’ve come to realize it all comes down to the backwards momentum. And I’ve come up with a possible different way they could rework the system that would help people not rage quit, or rage delete, and encourage more deck experimentation and a more fun gaming experience.
I think what would be better is to have a casual version. No backwards momentum. You climb and can get stuck, but you won’t go down. I’ve fallen into the depths TWICE this season and clawed my way back without hitting infinite, it’s still frustrating. I personally think having a different grind would be better, where instead of the level being 100 it could be 500 or even 1000 to get to infinite. Still takes a long time, you have to play a LOT, but you’d always be climbing.
I think it would allow for a lot of players to feel like they could experiment with decks, knowing they won’t fall so far down that they couldn’t risk it. You might stay in one place for a while, losing a ton of games but the few games you do win, you’re still climbing, and can still feel accomplished at the end of the day. The grind could still take lots of us a while in order to win that many cubes, but the losses wouldn’t send people into rage spirals. Also, it allows for the more casual gamers to still continue to hit those markers and win new things.
What are your thoughts? How could my suggestion be made better? Do you not think it could work?
