Well, i moved in today. I had only been in the house a single time before and loved it. Upon moving in i had sort of a weird feeling but i just associated it with the anxiety that comes with change but the feeling sort of grew as my day went on but not too bad. I ended up taking a nap and woke up within the first 5 mins to look over my shoulder due to maybe anxiety keeping me alert or something, new space, who knows. Anyway, i did end up going to sleep and had this dream- i was in the new house and i was waking up from my nap (this is the dream) and i grab my phone because it’s dark and go to use the flashlight (i’m horribly scared of the dark but only when alone) but the flash light won’t work so i go to flip the light switch in my room and it doesn’t work so i go to the kitchen to use that light switch and what that one doesn’t work i run outside and all of a sudden it’s day and i see my cats (my protectors, i have deep love for them) and i walk up to them but it’s not them it’s just similar looking cats and then i turn and see them but when i get to them it’s the same thing, similar looking but not them. Anyway- here’s where it gets weirder, i wake up from the nap and get in the bath, while laying there i look up and see a pentagram drawn on the door frame. Then i’m laying with my partner after my bath and he noticed one on the door frame of the bed room too. I can post a pic if anyone is interested or even ends up seeing this, i’ll also update if anything else is found but fingers crossed that there won’t be! Anyway- let me know about the door frame thing, super interested.

I’m kind of just concerned at this point. I’ve been nannying for a new family for a few weeks now. The children show a total absence of discipline and a complete lack of empathy likely due to the poor communication on the fathers part (he has told me repeatedly to threaten or bribe them, and from what I see at home he usually just screams at them or insults them and and says stuff like what’s wrong with you). I’m at my wits end these kids are so sweet, but they are absolutely wild I’m talking biting and breaking skin 30+ times a day (I’m sincerely not exaggerating). On top of this they smack people in the face and kick them as well as scream or throw things at them. They sometimes even just do this to get in a good laugh. The father has told me he does not discipline the children when me and the other nanny are not there. On top of this these children are sleep deprived. He does not allow nap time and in fact pulls them out of preschool, so they miss nap time. They get 10 hours of sleep a day at ages two and three. When they should be averaging closer to 16. I try my best to work around the damage the father is doing, but one college aged nanny can only do so much. I guess I’m just looking for tips on how to start from scratch with discipline because he has absolutely no set standards, and I have tried everything from gentle talks and time out talks to removing them from play areas or leaving places where they bite people, but with new Nannie’s coming in and out due to the severity and intensity of the job, the kids don’t respect us and see us as temporary fixtures in their life that are just going to eventually leave them so why not push their nanny’s buttons and push them away before they can get close and get hurt. However, being the first nanny that’s stuck around longer than three weeks in the past six months has led the youngest child to become very attached to me, and because he has never met and does not have contact with his mother, alongside with me nannying him at family events where it’s just me the dad and close family, he now thinks I’m his mom. He has recently taken to pushing away the other Nannie’s, screaming I want mommy and running toward me. When I tried calling him mommy to make it seem like a joke he said I’m not mommy you’re my mommy and I said no sweetie I’m xxxxx your nanny! And he got extremely upset, then later that night the other nanny tried to put him down and he screamed for mommy AGAIN and he came downstairs to me and his dad and only hugged me goodnight ignoring his father completely (HUGE RED FLAG IMO) and refused to let anyone besides me put him down. How do I teach this little boy that I’m the nanny and not his mommy when I wake him up feed him take him out and about all day and put him to bed? I keep trying to reference myself as nanny insertmynamehere, but he still calls me mommy, so I’m not sure how to explain to him in a simple way that I’m not mommy. I wouldn’t be as concerned if there was a mother in the picture because it would just likely be an instance of associating the word with someone he loves or if he called other important women in his life mommy but he only knows mommies from books or kids shows, and he only recently started calling me mommy after I became consistent with the job. Please someone help or offer advice. My heart is breaking for these poor children.

Ok, so I had an idea to write a fanfiction where a guy gets dropped into the marvel universe much like our girl Gwen. And he gets two superpowers, he can die any number of times but each time he dies he returns to a child-like form, say a 10 year old body and it take a few days to regenerate to full size (Like John Nash in Hero Killer) and he can also steal the powers of anyone he kills (Like Ihwa also in Hero Killer), Ik this seems kinda OP but he's gonna need it and he's not gonna go around killing heroes just so that he can steal their powers.
So I need help with a few things first:

1. Where do you guys think I should drop him into? Like into which comic world (I'd like to mix the mcu into it if possible)
2. Who do you think he should have as his main foe (nemesis) in his rouge gallery?
3. What are the things I should look to avoid in a fic like this? (ie, red flags)
4. Should I have him involved with only one character? (if yes, which?)
5. Or should it be a poly? ( but like in The Spider fanfic by imjusttryingtofindmyway and not like those insanely horny harem fics where everyone's just somehow obsessed with this plain old dude)

I am taking STEP 1 on July 7th. My school required us to take a CBSSA exam pre-dedicated, and I got a 42% on it. It's a shitty score, so you don't have to tell me twice. Since then, I have completed 37% of UWorld. I plan to take another practice exam to see where I am at now. However, which exam(s) should I take?
I plan to take around 4 practice exams, and I feel like the NBME ones are the best ones to take. Is it safe to skip the UWorld ones?

I met a guy on a trip two years ago. He told mutual friends that he liked me, and he asked them not to tell me, but they did. When he found out that I knew, he cut off all contact with me. Two months later, he and his girlfriend broke up. I have to admit that before he was single, I'd look at his TikToks a lot. I never liked or commented on it; I'd just watch the videos.
A few days before he and his girlfriend broke up, I noticed that my TikToks would go up. I had 3 followers, but whenever I'd watch his videos, a few hours later, my TikTok views would rise. I even tried doing it on certain days; eg. I'd watch his videos one day, watch it two days later, then the day after, and each time I saw them, my views went up, and on the days that I didn't watch them, they stayed the same. This continued for the better part of a year. Last year, it was still frequent, but less so. Now, it's every two or three weeks that we do this. One time, he even posted a TikTok in English (English isn't his first language, and all of his previous videos were in his native language).
TikTok wasn't the only platform he was looking at me on. He would do it on Twitter too. One time, I retweeted a picture of a Star Wars character. Less than an hour later, he posted a meme of that same character. The meme was in English, and it's not that I want to say that the meme wasn't funny, but it was obvious that he posted it just to post it. There's been at least three other instances where he did something similar.
However, twice he did things that tickled me funny. About six months after they broke up, he started following her on TikTok, but unfollowed her within a few hours (probably because she didn’t follow him back). A month later, one of his ex's close friends posted a TikTok video with his ex in it. He started following this friend. Around eight months of this going on, he made his Instagram and TikTok private. I have no idea why. But I can tell he still looks at my TikTok, because TikTok tells who looks at your profile. I don’t post much, and he looks at it every two to three days.

So I'm an ex-protestant AKA apostate from Christianity, but was never a Catholic so my knowledge is pretty limited. Hopefully this question doesn't come across as inappropriate. I stumbled across something today saying that leaving the RCC is basically a mortal sin and basically the same as becoming an atheist as far as condemning yourself to hell is concerned. Casual google searches pretty much say the same thing and apparently it's based on the idea that the RCC is the ONE TRUE CHURCH.
Is this correct? It just comes across as so fucking weird to me, having come from a background where you could go to another church as long as you didn't leave Christianity. OTOH, there's a ton about Catholicism I'm sure I don't know and I barely know anything about the Orthodox church other then they split off a millieium ago.
Any help on this would be appreciated.

• ... Respecs? Yes, but they cost Gold. You can respec individual Skill Points. Due to the Gold Costs for respecs increasing with Character Level, you can't respec High Level Characters too much each day.

I feel like I have become one of those calm, introverted individuals that has wormed himself into a nice little comfortable spot that I'm okay with. The problem with this spot is that it tends to get lonely more often than not. You know that loneliness where there are people around you but they are people that don't REALLY see you.
I would love to find a friend that can see me, and maybe that special someone is you.
I enjoy music and reading. From the mixes that YT Music generates for me I think we agree that contemporary country and 90s pop is my flavour. I just finished reading The Whisper Man and will be getting back into Gone Girl after I hit post. If you looking for a creepy book recommendation I suggest The Whisper Man by Alex North. The narration of the audio book is great too.
I love spending time in the kitchen. For me this is always the heart of the home. I would enjoy finding someone to share recipes with and to share pics of failed and successful experiments.
I enjoy English Football and I have been devastated this past season by the form of my beloved Chelsea FC. I however live in hope that next season will be better. Honestly there is little room for it to be worse.
I enjoy board games and the online variants are often great too. Chess, parchisi, Rummikub, Checkers ..... I am down for any of them if you are.
I think my inner mind is secretly trying to turn my house into a zoo. I built an outdoor aviary this year and I keep finches, I also keep fish, albino crayfish, dogs and I'm dying to get a little piggie. Bad idea I know!
I have a 4 year old and he is incredible. He has shaped so much about me and I can not sing how proud I am of him loud enough.

I feel stuck.
We have been together for 5 years now, but I feel like I have truly reached my lowest point in this relationship and in my whole life. I’ve been depressed for a while now, and my partner battles with her own insecurities, however, she has always resolved to alcohol as her escape but has increasingly become very aggressive and disrespectful towards me especially, when we met back then I’ve noticed it, but I guess I thought those red flags could have been something we could work out, but it’s now 5 years later and I’m at the point where she truly does not want to change, not even for our 2 year old daughter. I am not financially ready to make the step to move out and get my own place where I could share time with my daughter and be the life loving person I used to feel like, I have to come to this house after every work day and deal with the unexpected when it comes to her. If it wasn’t because of my daughter I would live in my car and start from scratch completely. So I ask, how did you find the strength to maintain and prevail?

If I recall correctly, back when Sony launched the PS5 along with the new model of PS Plus free games and the PS Plus Collection, there were several PSN members getting banned and having their PS5 remotely turned unusable because they dared sharing the PS Plus games their account had access to, to their friends on PS4, something that's always been a feature in PS4 ever since they mocked Xbox One's original sharing policy in 2013.
Then overnight it arbitrarily became a crime at the eyes of Sony, a lot of people who bought PS5s were rightly pissed off that their freshly bough console and their Plans were banned for a feature Sony has always encouraged and had no legal or ethical grounds to enforce against, much less have the power to simply disable the consoles forever on a whim. I remember a lot of people over the world even entered lawsuits against Sony.

• How did that turn out in the end? Did anyone win anything? Has any consumer protection authority stepped in and demanded Sony stopped this?

I'm used to borrow the digital PS4 games from my friend's account all the time by setting his account and the main account in my PS4 and downloading his games, then playing through my account, a lot of them being PS Plus games he acquired over the years.

• If I buy a PS5 and try to do this again - borrowing his digital games to my PS5, I think it will be alright, but just to be sure: Is it ok?
  
• If when I buy the PS5, I go the other way instead and lend him my PS Plus-acquired games via the free trial that comes with the PS5 for him to play in his PS4, will I still be banned like it happened during the PS5 launch era? Or is it ok now?
  

I make mainly progressive and trance right now, and playing a live set oriented towards these sounds is high up on my bucket list. Right now I have a Push and APC40 as my main MIDI controllers. I've used them to make live mixes in the past, and I've put together a rather elaborate custom DJ template, with a few Max for Live devices that emulate traditional DJing functions like looping and cue points. I'm well aware that the standard for club gear is CDJs, but I don't have enough room in my little studio for another controller, even if it's one of the smaller ones that emulate CDJ functionality. If I want to perform live one day, should I pony up for one anyways? Or does it make more sense to focus on the setup I already have and perfect my skills with it? All I need to complete that is a laptop, and then I'd have a setup (computer, interface, MIDI controllers) that I could in theory bring to venues. Would they really be that averse to my bringing my own gear?

Barely six months after installation, 2 LEDs on the left side stopped working. Good thing is I got refund for it from seller in Amazon, no question asked/no return for checking, yay! They are good on the 1 year warranty.
Now contemplating whether continue driving with it, buy a new one(price gone up,different seller), or just giveup and put back the original.
May just put back the original and try to DIY repaichange the LEDs.

Hello, I need help, I don't know much about reddit but hear a lot about reddit, so I'm not sure if this or where to ask for advice.
I bought a piece of property that has a billboard on it. The billboard is owned by a company and they have been paying rent for having it on the property. The previous rent contract is up, but I don't know how or even where to begin to know what would be an appropriate rent. Can you please help me out?
I've done some research but it's only on the cost for billboards and it seems like there are so few companies that own them. The rates for advertising on the boards seems to be priced monthly, and OMG the cost is high to advertise on them!! But I haven' found anything at all regarding the price to actually rent the space on the property that the billboard is on.
The board is on a interstate in a city and has a lot of traffic. What would be a fair rent? How would I figure it out?
