Oceans cover more than 70% of Earth and drive weather, regulate temperature, and support life on this planet. Our oceans are a vast system of diverse and complex ecosystems and natural resources; and the health of the world’s oceans is inextricably tied to the health of our planet. And amazingly, up to 95% of the ocean realm remains an unexplored mystery.

2023.06.04 05:56 sister_moon1My Story of Growing Up With Psychics and Mediums
This is a true story of my young life growing up with psychics and mediums and I believe it was a necessary experience for me to have, in order to adjust me to being a psychic and a medium, it is both a very fortunate, and an unfortunate story. I say it was fortunate because it gave me a strong foundation of knowing and believing in spirit, and a family that never doubted me when I began having psychic experiences, and of course it was unfortunate because I got to experience such things that most young children should not ever know. I came to realise that spirits existed from a very young age because my grandmother, mother, uncle and his wife, my aunty, were all open to spirit in one way or another. And we all lived together in the same home within the UK. My cousin lived there too, he was my uncles son and he was 18 months older than me. My earliest memories of the house was around the year 1967 when I was 3 years old. My mother had her back to me, she was sitting in a chair holding my new baby brother, and he was looking at me over my mothers shoulder and smiling, I was smiling back at him and I was very excited to have a baby brother, but sadly this joy didn't last long as he died tragically, when he was only 3 months old. Looking back now on that single memory, I often think of how old and intelligent his soul was for a young baby, to be aware of me at such a tender young age. Has I mentioned, I was very young and the house we lived in was haunted by at least three spirits. I never actually saw any of these spirits myself, and I don't believe my cousin did either, but I heard lots of screams and screeches from my mother and my aunty, whenever they witnessed an apparition. ! My Grandmother was the sober, and less excitable of the adults, but even she had a few funny turns from time to time, and I often overheard stories of a young child that was seen playing in the garden (she was a girl) or of the red haired women that had been seen on the stairs. On one occasion, I remember I was sitting playing in the kitchen, it was a bright summers day and my aunty and my mother were busy spring cleaning the house. The door in the kitchen lead into the lounge and there was an old wooden door to the right, when you entered the lounge that lead to the stairs leading to the upper bedrooms. The door to the kitchen and the stairwell door were both wedged open, as my aunty was busy brushing the stairs with the tall handled broom, the atmosphere was pleasant and happily busy, when out of nowhere, I heard a terrifying scream coming from my aunty, followed by running as she flew down the stairs, my grandmother was up and out of the kitchen and I overheard my aunty talking to my grandmother about seeing the lady's long red hair floating as she looked up from her brushing, just when it disappeared down the stairs. There were a couple of other instances of the little girl being seen in the garden and the red haired lady on the stairs, I only ever heard my grandmother and my aunty talk about seeing them. The most scary of all the incidents that ever happened in that house, happened when I was about 5 or 6 years old, and it had me terrified of the stairwell right on up until we finally moved out. Before beginning this terrifying story, I do think I should mention that the house never had any creepy or eerie feeling and the overall atmosphere of the place was pleasant. I should also mention that my mother was a lazy selfish women, and this story is her experience alone, although, by default its mine too. It was a terribly wet, windy day, it hadn't stopped raining all day long and now it was late in the afternoon and the shopping needed to be done for us all to have dinner. My uncle and aunty had moved out at this time, so there was just my cousin, me, my mother and my grandmother who was 70 years old that were still living there. My selfish mother did not want to go out in the pouring rain and so it was left to my grandmother to have to get ready to go, I did not want my grandmother to go out in the pouring rain, she was old and wind and the weather was very bad. I think I asked if I could go with her, but I wasn't allowed. I remember looking out the window at the grey sky and all the rain, worrying about my grandma, for what seemed like forever. then finally I saw her shadow arriving back and coming up our path, and I ran to the door to greet her. When she got in the lounge she looked very ill and her poor face was ashen white, her coat and clothes were soaking wet and I was very sad to see her looking so ill, and my mother ran around to make hot tea and get her dry clothes and towels. Much later that evening I'd fallen to sleep on the coach, and my mother was carrying me up the stairs to bed, she had nearly gotten up to the landing when I was awoken by my mother screaming for her mother on the top of the stairs.! I woke up and tried to look to see why my mother was screaming, but my mother held my head pressed in her chest, so I could not see anything, then I heard and saw my grandmother shouting and waving her umbrella in the air, has she came up the stairs to the rescue, My mother came down the stairs with me and that night we slept in the lounge on the sofa. I don't recall when I heard them talking about that night, but I know I was still in the house as I was terrified to go up those stairs at night after hearing that, so I was still very young when I heard about it. what I heard was terrifying. !!! My mother said she was climbing the stairs the light on the landing was off, but there was a full moon out illuminating through the landing window, so it was bright enough to see as she walked up the stairs towards the landing, she said she heard someone breathing and has she looked up she saw a figure coming out of the spare room that was at the far end of our hallway, the figure was covered in hair right down to near the floor and she couldn't see its face, she saw it put it's hand on the banister rail as it was moving towards her, and she said the nails were long, yellow, and twisted around like a cork screw and she could hear the breathing getting loader as it was coming towards her This is the point when I heard my mother scream for her mother, and she added that when grandma opened the stairway door it started to move back towards the room where it came from and finally disappeared just before grandma had gotten up the stairs, so grandma saw nothing. I believe I overheard repeated pieces of conversations about this at different times, when grandma and my mother were talking in the lounge, unfortunately in those times the assumption was that younger children didn't really understand what you were talking about. but I did, and I was terrified I would see the same thing too, but no one ever did. My grandmother concluded that it was her dead husband, my grandfather, that had scared my mother that evening for her wickedness of letting her poor old mother go out in such weather, and I have to agree, especially after having a psychic encounter with him myself years later. It was not a terrifying encounter, but he warned me very softly but seriously of the dangers of dabbling with drugs and the effects it has on the soul when you pass, I understood then that my grandfather was the patriarch that kept the family all in check, and even after he'd passed on, he was still watching out for us, needless to say, but I headed his warning and never messed with drugs again. It sounds very strange to say this, but besides all the things that happened, I did love that house and have some of my fondest memories there of when all my family were happily together, unfortunately there is only me, my cousin, and my mother left who remembers those days in that house.
2023.06.04 05:52 NotSoWellAdjustedI feel like I'm living in a horror movie...
...and it all seems like some sick joke, waiting to see the next big "climax". Each is more drastic than the last, as if life itself is trying to push me towards a mental break of my own. I was never the most social type. I chose my friends early, kept them, and have maintained a few over the last decade or so. I can count my close friends and family on two hands, and that's the way I like it. But almost 9 years ago, one of my closest friends passed away after a long struggle with illness and addiction. He experienced a psychotic break due to amphetamine abuse, during which he experienced delusions and auditory hallucinations of his closest friends dying in torturous ways. His experience opened my eyes to another perspective to both drug abuse and the brain itself. Fast-forward about five years, and I’m on the phone with my brother N. It’s late night, and he’s at his new apartment all alone. He hears my other brother B and his partner C (who live in a different state), saying terrible things about him in the hallway and he can’t believe they would fly such a distance just to torment him. I’m talking him through the experience, but he’s trying to snap photos of them from over the balcony, and I need to get off the phone and get in contact with somebody who can reach him faster than me. Thank God my parents listened to me, and left their concert early to intervene. They drove him to a hospital, and after a few days, he came home. He got the hallucinations under control, but I still couldn’t wrap my head around the fact that I knew two relatively healthy young men who experienced these severe mental episodes. I just thought, “why does this keep happening to people around me?" Of course, this is all before B. I remember when C first reached out to us to explain the problems that B started experiencing. Prior to this, when he’d come to stay for a month, he exhibited manic and dissociated behaviors, but things were worse than we had seen. He was seeing visions in the skies, and feeling drawn to his higher purpose in the universe to a degree that surpassed earthly expectations. He would disappear in the middle of the night, converse deeply with strangers when compelled to do so, and lived in pure extravagance - despite his limited actual working hours. After frustrating arguments with my husband about logistics and caring for my two baby girls (another stress entirely!) I ended up with two nights to go with my mother and try to take care of my eldest brother. We flew in on a Friday night, and once we checked into the hotel, we drove straight to his apartment. The situation had already escalated prior to our arrival. My brother had already turned against his partner and his family. Since my mother made the mistake of defending them in her first minutes on the premises, he immediately turned against her. And so I went alone into his apartment, with the sole priority to gauge his mental state and determine just how “crazy” my brother had gone. My mom texted me from the outside, asking me continuously: “Should we call for help? How is he?” Initially, I thought we could talk him into a hospital stay voluntarily - but anybody in a situation such as this might understand how difficult this can be. It’s no joke when Belle’s father is thrown into the back of a carriage and taken away: these situations are dangerous, and is there really any other way that they can go? My brother was unpredictable, and lashing out against those who wanted to help. He put a cigarette out on his arm, and carried a pair of scissors around in his pocket. He joked about the “devils” trying to keep him from being who he wanted to be, and to an extent, that may have been true. But in this moment, his stress and unhappiness had cultivated into a violent psychotic break that demanded professional intervention. I don’t regret calling for help in this instance. I regret the fact that, at his age past 30, we had not drafted a written plan in case he needed this sort of medical intervention. In fact, there wasn’t any paperwork at all! As such, the police took my brother away, and he ended up in a shithole downtown for the homeless and forgotten - all because they could not share any information with us and we could not make any choices for him due to HIPAA, but he was not in the right mind to share information about his insurance or make any decisions for himself. And so the state took over, and he fell off of our radar. We drove from one police station to the next, from one hospital to another, but no luck, B finally called my phone just before noon the next day. Thank goodness I had the same number since I turned 13 - it was the only one he remembered. The place they took him was a shithole - nothing like they promised, but what can you expect with an overloaded system like theirs? That just set the tone for the rest of our time, trying to get him in an outpatient program - trying to get him through an inpatient program - trying to get insurance to accept a program closer to us, or trying to find a program they’ll accept near home… Life played out the way it did. There’s no right or wrong way anymore. This is just the way it happened, and nothing else will change it. In November of 2021, we realized my brother was sick. On May 31, 2022, he woke up and decided that he would leave us by any means necessary. That ended up being at a gas station pump in the middle of nowhere, in front of my father, who had the unfortunate job of trying to drive him to the hospital he liked in California. And so my family began the “healing”(?) process. It took us four months to have a basic funeral, though it was just the close family and his ashes. C and his family flew out and spoke, and our closest friends supported us through the nightmare. C had already had some mental breakdowns of his own, but he was on medication now and his family seemed to be helping him through. We spent some time together, and he doted on my children, and delivered gifts from B that were intended for them. We took a rare photo together. I hugged him and told him to please, please stay strong for my family. My daughters loved their Uncle B, and he could keep his memory alive for them. It was a hard and emotional time. I knew that B would want me to take care of his partner, no matter the drama between them at the time. I tried, with everything I had, to be there if he wanted me to be - but I was scared, and we are anxious people who value personal space. I didn’t want to come off too strong, but when he called me asking for permission to marry my brother in heaven, what could I do? I told him how much I loved him, and how much he already meant to me. I assured him that he was already my brother-in-law, that he had already been with my brother long past a common law marriage. Maybe that’s just the problem. Love is the strongest drug of all, isn’t it? And so, less than a week and a half after that phone call, C went to find his soulmate through the same awful method of self-immolation. To his mercy, I heard that his soul passed much faster than that of my poor, beautiful brother. With an imagination like mine, it is not just the guilt… it’s just the whole fucking thing. Well, if my circle is small, my living brother kept his even smaller. B and C were his best friends, and with them gone, I’m just impressed he has maintained any sanity at all. But now, as stress at work ramps up and his psychosis returns, all I can do is wait and see. This time is different: since I’m involved, he’s pulled away from me, and he won’t be as honest as he used to. His boss is listening in, there are cameras in the lightbulbs, and he’s been living on the “Truman Show” for a while now. He’s deactivated all social media to keep his boss from following him, and he’s currently been missing for 12 hours. Everything feels hopeless. How much is one person supposed to take? I have three babies now, all aged 4 and under, and they need me to be strong. But I just feel so sad and broken all of the time. I had panic attacks before, but now? Am I doomed to follow the same path? I sleep okay, and I don’t abuse any medications, but god knows I’m a mess these days. I miss my family. I have no friends. My husband is working as hard as he can to help us. I used to be able to count my circle with two hands. Now I’m down to one, and all the others have lost their mind and/or died. Why is this a thing now? How can I stay strong for my kids? I didn't know about this family curse until I was pregnant with my third... I don't know if I can keep watching this happen over and over again.

2023.06.04 05:42 TwylaLNASA task force: They are not NASA employees, not all scientists, and are not all in agreement
I'm seeing significant misconceptions about the members of the NASA Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Study Team (UAPST). Some of that is from sloppy writing in the mainstream media, some is just assumptions. This group is individuals chosen by NASA from outside NASA reflecting a variety of opinions, approaches, and expertise to apply to the question of UAP. Some are hostile to the Extraterrestrial Hypothesis; some are willing to accept it as a possibility. Not all are scientists, though all have science training. They have not seen classified material. I get the impression they haven't had many meetings and haven't actually discussed much to come to consensus. The budget for the committee was only $120k. Some have worked for NASA in the past. One interesting point is that all sixteen were NASA's "first picks" -- no-one who was invited turned down the opportunity. They have received harrassment from both the "believer" and the "conventional academy" sides of the spectrum; possibly also hostility from the Fundementalist Christian leadership who consider UFOs to be demonic manifistations. Contrary to news reports, their mission was not to solve the UAP problem, but to to come up with ways to solve the UAP problem using NASA's publicly available data already collected in various Earth and Space surveys (satellite stuff). A historical review of NASA's photography and videography and of statements made by astronauts in the past wasn't in their remit. (Though let's face it nothing was stopping any of them from picking up a book.) AS far as I know, no public statement has been made outlining what evidence they did review; I certainly hope it will be in their report.

2023.06.04 05:23 bottleoftrashReddit is basically a monopoly, so it just has to weather the storm of backlash before everyone just starts using the official app like nothing happened.
I know this may not be an equal comparison, but the Reddit API pricing change feels similar to YouTube hiding dislikes. Users were outraged, but what are you going to do? Ditch YouTube? Where else are you going to go? Same for Reddit. If Reddit kills Apollo and RIF, some people might quit Reddit in protest and “find another app.” Yeah right, where else are you going to go? There isn’t an equivalent user base elsewhere. Until Reddit has an actual compelling competitor, they can basically do whatever they want. We can protest all we want, but most of us are still going to be crawling back sooner or later. I don’t like this situation, but it’s the one we’re in. Unless a significant chunk of Redditors banded together to form a new platform, we’re fucked. Like YouTube did with dislikes, Reddit just has to weather the storm of hate and rebellion before everyone begrudgingly downloads and uses the official app.
2023.06.04 05:22 sorenKallaShould I live in Long Beach? Echo Park? DTLA??
I have been in LA since May 6th, but every day I'm here I'm more and more confused about where I want to live. Based on the info below, where do you think I should check out? About me: I'm a 29, queer, poc, single woman, hoping to make a career in art/writing. I moved to find more creatives & community, to find my future wife, and to enjoy the warm weather. I do really enjoy swimming, so ideally would love access to a pool or beach. And I really need walkability to get me out of the house, and access to good parks (esp 420 friendly ones). I love thrifting and markets, I am a night owl so really love it when there are places open late near me. And I do have a car, but I really enjoy being able to hop on a bus or walk somewhere instead of having to drive 100%. I would love to have a ~500-600 sq ft studio that feels modern. My budget is under $2800/month Places I've looked into, and the hesitations that make me confused: West Hollywood: Very pricey and people say it's catered to predominantly white male gays. Love the nightlife and general greenery Los Feliz: Pricey, not many apartments, and people say it gets boring living there. Very cute and I like the vermont/hillhurst strips Silver Lake: Pricey, not many apartments, not very walkable, and people say it's kinda fake/hipster. I love the thrifting opportunities and central location Echo Park: Pricey, not many apartments. I like the park and location, but not sure if I can find an apartment there. North Hollywood: Feels small and a bit removed; the walkability of it is kind of limited to a few streets. I do like that it's a bit of a chiller vibe and has a good amount affordable apartments. DTLA: Everyone seems to have a horror story of living in DTLA. I was about to sign on an apartment in South Park, but was worried that the mess and griminess of the city would get to me. Love the walkability, but not sure if it's safe at night. Santa Monica: Pricey, lots of tech people. Santa Monica feels like SF where artists are getting priced out, so I'm worried about not finding my people. Otherwise, good walkability and beach access Long Beach: Far from most other places, I'm a bit worried about there not being as much to do. Seems like there's a good queer community here, good access to the beach and generally walkable in some areas. Feel free to share new places I should check out! Honestly, I am having a hard time feeling like I love LA. I've lived in SF and Seattle before, and LA just feels very harsh and disparate in many areas by comparison. I feel like in SF/Seattle, you could kind of live most places and be able to access everything else quickly. Not so much here, so I've really been stressing about where I should go. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

In the IPL this year, Shubman Gill has scored three hundred. Who has performed better than this? Indian Akbar Mithun was questioned. https://indibetindia.com Shubman Gill’s outstanding performance for the Gujarat Titans, who finished second in the IPL, earned him the orange cap and 890 runs. He scored three hundred in four innings, including 101 against Sunrisers in Ahmedabad, 104 not out against RCB in Bengaluru, and 129 against Mumbai Indians in Ahmedabad after scoring 42 in the first playoff game. He scored 94 not out against Lucknow Super Giants in Ahmedabad two games before this run. https://iplwin-india.com Gill came close to breaking the record set by Jos Buttler for the Rajasthan Royals in 2022 after Virat Kohli’s four centuries for the RCB in 2016. In a single IPL, no one else has scored more than two centuries. With 973 and 863 runs, respectively, at the end of both seasons, Kohli and Buttler held the record for the two most incredible season totals in IPL history until yesterday. With 890 runs, Gill is presently ranked second on that list. https://indibet2.com Test Match Moments for the most runs The hitters who scored the most runs during an IPL season are listed below. https://indiacricketsite.com In the two Test matches that England played in South Africa in 2019–20, 33 catches were made. Are these the most results from one Test? Asked South African Francois de Bruyn https://melbetz.in In that 2019–20 series, 33 catches were made out of a potential 40 during the second Test in Cape Town and the fourth Test in Johannesburg (only 38 wickets were lost at Newlands). https://www.indibeti.in There are two other 33s: one by West Indies and South Africa in Gros Islet, St. Lucia in 2021 and one by Australia and India in Perth in 1991–1992 when only 36 wickets were lost. Additionally, there are two 34s, both occurring in Test matches played in South Africa: one against Australia in Cape Town in 2017–18 and the other against Pakistan in Johannesburg the following year. https://www.indibete.in However, the Test record for catches is 35 wickets; in Australia vs. India match in Adelaide in 2018–19, the final 23 wickets were all out caught. Here is a list of Test matches with the most catches. https://rajabets0.com I WAS SHOCKED when I learned that Moeen Ali had collected as many as 195 Test wickets. But has anyone taken more wickets at a more excellent average than his, which was over 36? British Brad McKenzie was questioned. https://melbetvip.in You are correct that Moeen Ali took 195 wickets in 64 Test matches. Among them were his 10 for 112 against South Africa at Lord’s in 2017 and his hat-trick in the series’ final Test at The Oval. Additionally, Moeen amassed 2914 runs, including five centuries. https://www.indibetvip.in His total bowling average of 36.66 is the highest among bowlers who have taken as many wickets; Pakistani legspinner Danish Kaneria is second with 261 doors at the cost of 34.79 each. The only bowlers with 150 or more Test wickets at averages higher than Moeen’s are the West Indian speedster Fidel Edwards (165 at 37.87) and the Indian slow left-armer Ravi Shastri (151 at 40.96). At Lord’s in 1957, Trevor Bailey reportedly disregarded all three Ws. How many other bowlers in the same game managed to defeat this illustrious trio? England’s Jamie Williams was questioned. https://melbet1.in Accounting for the three Ws, Clyde Walcott, Everton Weekes, and Frank Worrell, who frequently appeared in the middle order for West Indies in the 1950s, was quite a task. Trevor Bailey removed all three as the West Indies were skittled for 127 on the first day of the second Test at Lord’s in 1957. England went on to win by an innings after he had taken 7 for 44. Another Englishman, the legspinner Doug Wright, accomplished this feat at The Oval in 1950. He was the only other bowler to eliminate all three Ws in a single Test innings. https://melbetindian.com/ In the same Test, albeit not in the same innings, three other bowlers also got all three Ws. The first two occurred in Australia in 1951–1952. Legspinner Doug Ring caught them all in the opening Test at Brisbane, and offspinner Ian Johnson followed suit in the next match in Sydney. The England fast bowler Peter Loader dismissed all three in the fourth Test at Headingley shortly after Bailey’s triple in 1957. Loader had a successful match, scoring a hat-trick in an innings win. https://eklottery.in Several knowledgeable individuals have provided an update on the query from last week concerning Test cricketers who have competed in the Olympics: https://indibetindia.com Three people have been added to the list, including two women. Lesley Murdoch of New Zealand participated in 25 ODI matches in addition to six women’s Test matches in 1989–1990, three of which she captained. Murdoch was a New Zealand women’s hockey team member that competed in the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics and placed sixth. https://iplwinz.in/ Rebecca Rolls was a custodian representing New Zealand in Olympic football at the 2012 and 2016 Games. However, she didn’t play. In one Test match, she scored 71 against England at Scarbrough in 2004. She also made two hundred in 104 ODI appearances. https://iplwin-india.com The third inclusion is South African Lionel “Doodles” Tapscott, who competed in the tennis competition at the 1912 Stockholm Olympics and played two Tests against England almost ten years later, scoring 50 unbeaten on his debut in Johannesburg. While his sister Billie scandalised the Wimbledon tennis competition in 1927 by being the first woman to compete there without stockings, his brother George “Dusty” Tapscott also played Test cricket. https://indibet2.com There are several other close calls besides Suzie Bates, who was mentioned last week (she played basketball in the 2008 Olympics and 291 white-ball cricket internationals for New Zealand, but no Tests). If South Africa had qualified, Jonty Rhodes might have played hockey for his country in the 1992 Olympics. He was also contacted about being selected for the 1996 Olympics, but the cricket authorities were unwilling to let him go. https://indiacricketsite.com Tazmin Brits, a current South African athlete who won the women’s javelin gold medal at the 2007 World Junior Championships, was scheduled to compete in the 2012 London Olympics. However, not long before the games began, she was involved in a severe car accident that left her in the hospital for two months and confined to a wheelchair for another two. In 2018, she made her debut in international cricket. https://melbetz.in Regarding cricket, SM Hadi represented India by competing in tennis at the 1920 Antwerp Olympics. He was also talented enough to play a few matches on the 1936 tour of England, for which he was nominally the assistant manager and an unofficial Test match for India in 1935–36. It is not meant to be a comprehensive list of individuals who just missed out, so if you know anyone else who played Test cricket and participated in the Olympics, please let me know! 2023.06.04 05:15 Stalker_Six-TwoDecently historically accurate mexican bandido
Hat - Bolero Hat No. 4 Bandana - Bandana No. 28 Bandoliers - Espinal Double Bandolier No. 4 Coat - Leather Jacket No. 2 Vest - Traditional Vest No. 2 Shirt - Collar Over shirt No. 11 Gun Belt - Bandit Gun Belt No. 1 Offhand Holster - Bandit Holster Pants - Cabrera Pants No. 3 Spurs - Vaquero Spurs No. 4 Half Chaps - Military Half Chaps No. 2 Boots - Stovepipe Square Toe No. 2 I based it off of the how to make a historical Vaquero video from Man vs History and from what I gathered from historical photos of bandidos and Mexican revolutionaries I found that these options were viable and the bandido just like the vaquero was utilitarian instead of trying to find a fashion sense. The sombrero was obviously used for the shade and rain which it comes from the word Sombro which is Shadow in English, these men would wear neckwear for the dust and to put it over the horse's eye. The Bandoliers were common just for more ammunition and storage of smaller items, bandits/vaqueros would wear leathewool for the warm weather, they used vests with standard equipment so the traditional is bests for this particularly Tan, Black and Brown. Collar over shirts were common amongst bandidos in Mexico and Texas during the last 1800s around the time period of red Dead and we're also common for businessmen, gamblers and cowboys. The gun belt and holster were the ones I found on some photos of bandidos and revolutionaries such as Emilano Zapata and were also found in some del lobos in New Austin. The Cabrera pants were based on the Calzone pants but could also work with the leather pants and bandito pants. Spurs were pretty much a standard for pride at least with vaqueros but they used it for better control of the horse as to not full kick the horse. Half Chaps and Stovepipe Square Toe Boots were found on revolutionaries, bandits, and Vaqueros were using this for leg protection and leg support. That's the basic history of these clothing but if you would like to see more Mexican inspired outfits or america outfits I would be happy to show y'all more, I'll try to make Emilano Zapatas clothes next post and have a good day y'all. 2023.06.04 04:55 ohjeeze_louiseKnee wall not connected to rest of attic—ventilation?
We are currently in the middle of a gut-job renovation, and now that all our insulation is out, we realize that we have this funny little knee wall attic in my husbands office. it is such that it isn't connected to the rest of the attic- that I can see - and therefore isn't connected to our ridge vents. Has anyone had to deal with this? One section has a small amount of mold —might be because the insulation was smashed against the drip edge ( we have vents on drip edge and not soffit) so we want to address it before the new insulation goes in. Gable vent seems weird, but I’m not sure if there’s another option. We’re in northern New England.
