Hello, all! I am learning about fair trade and am giving a presentation on it for a course in college. I do not know much but am learning; I was assigned the topic of fair trade, I did not pick it, hence why I do not know much but am learning my best. I am coming up with an activity where the class has to choose between two items… example: a photo of Ben & Jerry’s (supports fair trade) and Breyer’s (not fair trade to my knowledge) will be on the slide, and then I will reveal which one is fair trade and which one isn’t.
Anyway, in some articles, I have read that Starbucks is fair trade and then in others I have read that it is not—and the same thing for other brands/companies such as Dunkin’ Donuts, McDonald’s (McCafe) etc. So if anyone would be able to help me better understand which mainstream companies are fair trade and which one’s aren’t, that would be greatly appreciated/extremely helpful!! I love the iced coffee but the donuts are meh

I am a R. EEG T. and I worked 3 12 hour night shift at NM for 26 weeks. It was pretty cool. This place is gigantic. They have 894 beds and an EMU. I believe there were 10 beds in the EMU. The EEG department did not do children here, but there is a children’s hospital inside of the building.
This place does continuous and routine EEGs and they use collodion for continuous hookups. I was not the only agency employee there, there were 2 or 3 others, but nights was skeleton crew a lot of the time. Staff is pretty nice for the most part, I only met the manager once and that’s because I didn’t have a badge yet. There was an issue with one other traveler tech that I had but that’s a whole other story. This facility has EEG techs review studies every hour. Which is fine, if you are not on your own and have no orders coming in. That was generally not the case for me. I would be expected to work alone, reviewing the studies of 10+ people while more and more orders would pour in. It’s really easy to fall behind and feel like you are drowning. It’s a great way to develop an anxiety disorder if you didn’t already have one.
The food situation was pretty alright, they have a cafeteria that has some open hours, and a bunch of different restaurants open during the day, like a food court. Some restaurants are open 24 hours, including; Panera Bread, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Starbucks. There’s also tons of restaurants that will deliver to the hospital and it was always nice to get a Chicago style pizza around the block at at Gino’s.
Overall, I might consider returning here, but would prefer to do dayshift I think, as there are more people on days and you have the support you need. I was making great money here too. Thanks for reading.

Are there any good coffee shops/cafes in the BC area? I’ve been to Colonial Cafe in Mount Holly several times, but I was wondering if there any others worth checking out. I’m tired of the Starbucks and Dunkins on every corner! I’m willing to drive for this lol

Is Fred the Baker and “time to make the donuts” regional? It aired and was popular before Dunkin aggressively expanded and there are still some states today without a dunkins at all. Other than “time to make the donuts” being written on the box I would assume people in Colorado wouldn’t know who Fred is, and the cultural phenomenon the campaign was.
Edit for clarity: I mean is awareness of Fred and the campaign regional. We get CiCi’s pizza ads here and there isn’t one around. SNL did a “Time to make the donuts” skit in the 90s so part of me thinks people in Montana would at least know the ad.

Hello everyone, I'm looking for a roommate to cosign with for a 2x2 unit at Trailside Gardens on Alafaya starting July! It's a lovely, quiet, pet-friendly community and a 4-7 minute drive away from UCF. It's also a 7 minute walk to the Riverwind UCF shuttle if you don't have a car, and the Lynx 434 route runs along the street which can also take you to UCF, as well as Publix and Walmart! This WILL be slightly long but I will try to provide as many details as I can upfront:

1. Costs: FOR THE WHOLE UNIT $2010, this will be divided between us (there is a master bedroom which I'd like to take and I am willing to pay $50 more of the rent, so you'd pay $955 for your portion, but I am open to negotiating this). Utilities will also be divided. With rent, ALL monthly fees, AND utilities (only using the high end range so MAX usage), your total monthly cost would be $1,130.50 or less. The only thing this rate doesn't include is pet fees, a garage if you choose to rent one from them, and renter's insurance. You can use their insurance ($14) or use your own (which would probably be cheaper). If you have an ESA, pet fees are waived.
   
2. Move-in: July 3rd or later (I will be moving on that date but you can feel free to choose whichever date you want, whether that's exactly on July 3rd or after that).
   
3. Floorplan: B5 (has a solarium instead of patio). First floor. There are only 6 total units on the whole property and I got the last one, it's their biggest 2x2 floor plan (1,343 sqft). Both rooms are very spacious, have more than one window so they get in lots of light, HUGE walk in closets and a linen closet in each room. Kitchen has stainless steel appliances and every unit is equipped with smart home appliances. NO carpet so it's allergy friendly. I can provide photos of a similar floor plan as they have none available atm for a tour.
   
4. Amenities: Swimming pool and sundeck, outdoor grill and picnic area, 24-hour fitness center with yoga studio, dog park, clubhouse, MOVIE THEATRE, business center, community play area, gated community, package receiving, rapid response maintenance and more at https://www.trailsidegardensapts.com/amenities.aspx.
   
5. Anything else you need to know: I plan to have an ESA cat after August, and am okay with you having a pet as well. No preference for gender, just be clean and mostly quiet past midnight. Fine with overnight guests, just be sure to give a heads up and minimal noise past midnight. I'm a senior computer science major, LGBTQ+ friendly, and would love to be friends! I love music, boba, video games, board games, and shopping :)
