Las vegas to asheville nc

Will Vegas 14, 15, or 16 run better than VP 20 on a system with less capable specs? Is it that 14 - 16 doesn't require such a robust system to run fluidly on? My GPU/ram and ssd/hdd are fine for 20, but my CPU is bottlenecking Vegas' performance. Could switching to an earlier version potentially help with this issue or does 14-16 require a similar CPU to VP 20 in order to function properly?

What are your thoughts on (G)I-DLE's latest release now that you've had time to digest it? What are the standout tracks? How has your opinion changed since release? What are your thoughts on the sales numbers and chart positions? How did the release stack up to your expectations?

I met a guy on the apps. He’s a very introverted European guy living in America. He’s very straightforward and dry. He was always a bit passive and I arranged our first date, which he was very enthusiastic about (?). We went on several dates (he would drive to my city to see me and I went to see him once). It felt like things were picking up and he started asking me things about the future. (All of this took place over 1.5 months) On our third date he came to my town and I could tell he seemed a bit distant. We ended up sleeping together that date and it was really fun, we had excellent bedroom chemistry. But I could tell there were moments were he was frustrated with me /annoyed before the sex when we were walking. He left for vacation two days after we slept with each other. The night he left we were texting , and then he stopped texting cold turkey. A week went by and I didn’t hear from him so I added him on WhatsApp and said “hey!” He was extremely aloof. 4 days later I let him know I took a pregnancy test and it was negative (we had a condom oopsy) and again, super aloof. I ended up asking him in that conversation “I have feelings for you… I hope I haven’t given you the wrong impression” he basically said he was not on the same page as me, but he wanted to see me when he was back. I said “great”. And left it at that. A week of NC goes by and I get a text out of the blue that says “ hey. I thought I was ready to start dating but I’m not. And I don’t think we’re on the same page. I don’t want to play games and lead you on. I think you’re wonderful and I wish you all the best”
I was super nice back (maybe too generous with my reply) and basically said I understand and that we never clarified our intentions and that I wish the best for him (and that I enjoyed the physical interaction) Of course I was dying inside but I didn’t want to put that on him. He never responded.
I want to know your guys’ thoughts!? It’s been a week of no contact since then. We had a lot in common (both love Africa, both world travelers, both love the same kind of special dog breed, both have similar life views and values, both spent time in Brazil, shared laughter, great sex) Do you guys have theories on what happened? Keep in mind he’s 30 and been in two 6 month relationships, which may mean he has a hard time? I also know he’s not a huge player (he hadn’t gotten laid in 5 months and I believe him- he’s very honest) but is active on the apps. I’m honestly baffled that he pulled away ( he’s handsome but I know I’m the much cuter one- I’m sure) . I think that’s why I’m surprised. He’s really dorky and awkward and Im really shocked he shut me down when I showed too much interest. I know it’s cocky but wth. I’m going crazy with the “what did I do wrong?” Should I just stay no contact? Alternatively I was considering reaching out in a few months (if I’m still interested) to rekindle things using the “just friends” angle since technically we are on “good terms” Which is the better option? He’s very shy. But his text was so explicit!

Hey I’m considering switching from Final Cut Pro to Vegas 20 and I have a few questions.

1. On their website there are 3 product options. I’m deciding between Vegas Edit and Vegas Pro. Is the “pro” option worth the extra cost in your opinion?
   
2. In FCPx, I frequently use the audio configuration tool where I can remove background music from video clips with 5.1 surround feature. Does the Vegas Edit (the cheaper product) have this same type of feature???
   
3. Is it possible to buy older versions of Vegas at a cheaper cost (if so, could you tell me where)?
   

Any additional advice you could give to a newbie looking to make the switch would be appreciated.

I know the title is a bit click baity - I'll get down to brass tax:
TLDR: My wife and I found the home of our dreams, but this home (at the current mortgage rate) would be 3-4x what we're currently paying. Please help me by providing objective insights!

Location: Raleigh, NC Area

Current Situation:

• Bought our current home in 2021 at $310k with a rate of 2.625% - our monthly is about $1700, including utilities.
• We're in an up-and-coming area, however the builder (Meritage Homes - BEWARE!) did a extremely poor job with both my home and the community's (shower leaks, poor landscaping/drainage, low quality, 1 house burnt down, etc)
  • Our house is fine, however we're starting to see potential long term issues and we're considering whether it'll be worth giving up our killer rate for a better home which we can grow into.
  • We are unable to rent - our previous HOA turned a blind eye to the 20% rental rule and now our community is estimated to be about 50% rentals. Now the "Master HOA" has become involved and has started penalizing/cracking down; it's extremely unlikely we can apply to become landlords and rent out this property.

The Future (& dilemma):

• We found our dream home which will allow us to grow into (kids are ~2yrs away), is built by high quality builders, really meets our needs, great school district, amentities, etc. If purchased, we would plan on being here for many years (Wake Forest Area)
• The dilemma - the house is about $900k and at ~7% (from google estimators) it brings our monthly far higher than what we have now - to about $6.1k/mo
• While at a higher price, this is one of the lowelowest priced homes in this neighborhood. The majority of other homes are currently estimated to be $1.1-1.5M+. This is a gated community with a golf course.

The Financials:

• My wife and I are in stable-ish jobs (but who knows anymore) - and we're very blessed to be pulling in about $250k/yr in salary. This doesn't include any investments, 401k/APY growth, etc. We also have about $450k in semi accessible funds (stock, cash, etc).
• From my estimates and accounting for our spend, I think we'll be saving about $2000-$3000 each month in addition to 401k contributions (~12k/mo - 6k mortgage - 4k spend).
• It's highly likely we could sell our current home for about $410k, netting us $100k profit. We could include this and put down a total of $200k-$250k down toward this new home.

The Major Questions:

• If you got this far - thank you!
• Are we ridiculous to forego an extremely low rate if it means potentially securing our dream home?
• Is a refi actually worth considering if rates drop? Should we bank on that? What would be a sweet spot/sweet rate to consider if so?
• What aren't my wife and I considering? What are our blind spots here? Help us learn from you!
• I think we can afford this move; we may just need to be a bit more thoughtful with spend. Would you agree?

I'd like advice/insight from those of you who have/have tried to go no-contact.
I'll be going NC as soon as I have my belongings out of n-mums property. If the reasons are relevant then feel free to ask, I don't mind answering. But I can't see any reason they'd be needed by those of you on this sub.
My question is this: how best to achieve NC and how is this likely to play out? Seems to me that the less I say, the better. She knows i could ruin her if she chose to try and ruin me and she knows I have nothing to lose besides the savings she's demanding from me (and isn't getting). Which is a whole lot less than she has to lose (she would be facing a huge fine for fraud, if not prison time).
Is it even possible to mitigate retaliation from a narc and get what I want out of this? Am I going to spend what's rest of my life having to ignore her?

I am moving from Vegas to Cincinnati soon and I’m trying to get a feel for the political climate there. Nevada is a red state, but Vegas is very, very blue. I myself am purple - a moderate who takes everything issue by issue. I try to find a balance between them. I don’t want to live somewhere where the lunatic fringe on either side has taken over the city. I just want to live somewhere where people mind their business and to each their own. For example, you can’t say anything here on the west coast that disagrees with the ultra-woke in any way, or you are a bigot. Conversely, when I lived in East Tennessee, you couldn’t say anything about the separation of church and state without being called a devil worshipper. What’s it like, overall, in Cinci?

I was playing a modded New Vegas playthrough and was using type4's body replacer (bc it looks nice) and couldn't find a mod to replace the Female Trooper Armor. Is it at all possible to do so and have it revert back to vanilla female trooper armor? Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I got a speeding ticket and have court next week. Before I say anything, here is what they charged me with....
NC Traffic-SPEEDING Traffic-RECKLESS DRVG-WANTON DISREGARD Infraction-FAIL TO SECURE PASSEN UNDER 16
They told me I was going 93 in a 65 speeding limit, which I know is completely impossible. I was driving on a spare tire that was on its last string. My husband doesnt understand how I could have been driving in that speed on that spare tire but it was a state highway patrol. Moving on, I had my daughter who was going to be 8 in a few weeks at that time and we were heading to her doctors appointment. I understand I shouldn't have had her in the front with me but since I did with how fast he said I was going, he charged me with reckless driving. On top of that, after he gave me the ticket, he started asking if I was drinking alcohol! I today him I wasn't but insisted I get out of the car and had me breath into whatever that shit is called. I was already pissed off especially with how scared my sick little girl was at the time. It came me back negative, of course!!!
Okay, does anyone have any advice? How should I handle this? I'm planning on asking a court appointed attorney this week.

Hey all. So I recently got Mod Organizer 2 to work thanks to SteamTinkerLaunch. I installed it specifically for various Bethesda games (Mostly Skyrim Special Edition and Fallout New Vegas) But I just realized that in Windows, files and folders are not case sensitive, so the system won't care if the cases are different for each mod. But in Linux, everything IS case sensitive. I know that if I installed mods manually, I could go in and change all the folders to be matching cases so that everything installs properly, but I don't see how I'd do that in a mod manager. I hope there's a way around this, as I haven't seen anybody actually talking about it, so maybe there's a "case matching" box in the mod manager somewhere that I'm missing? Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
