2023.06.04 07:26 Waste_Macaron So apparently I have gambling issues (ft. 154 House of Mirrors)
A couple days ago I got bored as I felt league was ending for me and I already max'd my character. so I started gambling House of Mirrors. 1 day later I was quite shocked with my own results and want to share abit of my
observation on Harvest Duplication.
Starting amount: 10
Cycle (as much as I could track)
: 10 -> 54 -> 96 -> 19 -> 100 -> 72 ->

As you can see the
variance is massive here
Currency in total: @ 70div/ 1 HoM = 10,780 divines. (excluding the cards I was selling along the way)
Things i observed: (now this is just my own experience & observation. Not meant to be a guide or anything)
- Harvest can get hungry and start eating '1' card for 8-10 in a roll this is when you should stop and reset. what I usually do it put a bunch of random Div cards and let them poof as many as possible first. then proceed again.
- Harvest can be generous and double it 7 out of 8 times in a roll too
- I really do feel Harvest div gamba is weigh (despite ppl saying no).
- I notice a pattern where certain situation will either brick or win more than usual. (eg., If u put 2 and -1 and u click again, it tends to go poof more often than back to 2).- Know when to stop: it is important to keep taps of your cards and liquidate some for profits to reduce risk of going broke
- I notice that Harvest gives you a series of 'puzzles' to solve, if you crack it you will make more than you lose in that session (mayb 5-10 times) before the puzzle changes again. now this can be just me hallucinating...and it's really all RNG
All in all, it was a heck of an experience & heart racing. 10/10 will not do it again... and I do not recommend you to do it if you have things to lose
Special Thanks: to 2-3 people in trade for feeding me Yellow lifeforce @ 3200/div (price is unreal in bulk) over the past 24 hrs. I probably spent > a mirror on this. I had to keep selling the cards as I dupe them to buy lifeforce
Some people started noticing the amount of cards I had on trade going up. Thx those who kept checking in and encouraging me to keep going

2023.06.04 07:25 TheRealCheeeser00 Does anyone else think Riley Herbst will miss the playoffs?
Herbst started out strong this year in the first 6 races, he had 6 top 10s and 2 top 5s. In the past 6 races he hasn't finished in the top 10 once and his best finish was 14th at Charlotte.
He currently sits 10th in standings. In front of Hemric and Burton. If he falls behind Hemric He'll be out because Jeb Burton has a win.
What do you guys think?

2023.06.04 07:24 MassiveEgghead Playing style and coaching adaptations
After watching the Richmond doco “Wounded Tiger” Hardwick makes the ascertain that he was directive of the style he wanted to play and made the switch to what suited his players skill set and we all know they created the chaos territory ball and won 3.
Right now I can see Voss wants to play a slow methodical possession game starting from the back, to be fair the ball speed has increased over the last couple of rounds. But is this the right game style for our team? We seem to miss targets consistently. Our playing style does not work and isn’t competitive. It appears we have talented players, but we’re not making the most of it. For example just bombing in high balls to our F50 is under 12 footy and just shit.
From the outside the club looks to be structurally doing the right things, locking in talent long term and investing in youth through the draft
I think the club needs a senior ex~coach to advise and people manage the way the Dees brought in choco Williams, what about the Blues bringing in Hardwick to advise our coaching group and influence the game style.

2023.06.04 07:21 slightly__sketchy Trek Fuel EXe vs Transition Relay Demo Review
| I'm shopping for a new lightweight eMTB and I've narrowed it down to the Trek Fuel EXe, Transition Relay, Specialized Turbo Levo SL, and the Orbea Rise. I have no idea where to demo the Specialized and the new Orbea isn't available yet, so I took the opportunity to demo both the Fuel EXe and the Transition Relay. - BUILD & PRICE:
- I rented the Trek in the 9.5 build with Shimano SLX drivetrain and brakes, no-name 29" alloy wheels, an alloy bastem, a RockShox 35 Gold, and a RockShox Deluxe Select+ shock.
- This build is $6,500 and the Fuel EXe only comes in a carbon frame. They go all the way up to like $14k with XX AXS and high end suspension. Their $8,700 Shimano XT build seems to have reasonable components (RockShox Lyrik Select + which is basically the Lyrik Ultimate but without the buttercups, XT brakes/drivetrain, carbon wheels, and carbon bastem) and spec compared to the Transition build at the same price.
- I rented the Transition in their PNW Carbon XO build with the Sram XO transmission, TRP DH-R Evo brakes, alloy bastem, Fox Factory 38 Grip 2, Fox DHX coil shock, RaceFace Aeffect R alloy wheels in mixed/mullet size.
- This build is $11,000 and has a carbon frame, alloy models top out at $8,000 and carbon starts at $8,700 with basic/middle of the road Fox/Sram components and alloy bawheels. Compared to the Trek's XT build this one is heavy and doesn't make much sense.
- MOTOR:
- The Trek uses the TQ HPR50 motor with 50Nm and 300 watts of power.
- The TQ is probably the smoothest ebike motor I've ever felt. So far I've ridden TQ, Fazua, Specialized, Magura, and RadPower (no idea what they use). The TQ felt unbelievably natural, and better than any of the previously mentioned as far as power delivery and torque sensor performance. No spikes in power output, no overrun, it just felt like it was easier to pedal uphill and the torque sensor worked flawlessly. It was very easy to maintain a constant cadence so my analog buddy didn't fall behind. Technical climbing sections were very manageable with this motor.
- Motor was extremely quiet, almost imperceptible by me or anyone else on the trail.
- The controller and display were also super neatly integrated and very intuitive, with the display providing tons of helpful information like battery %, range in miles, range in time, and motohuman power output.
- I was pleasantly surprised at how powerful it felt in even 100w eco mode. A 1700 foot climb left me barely sweating. 200w and 300w modes were great for steeper sections.
- The Transition Relay uses the Fazua Ride 60 with 60Nm and 450 watts (in 12 second boost mode).
- Unfortunately the Fazua was not very refined. Start pedaling and a second or so later there was a jerk as the power kicked on which lurched the bike forward slightly and made a noise. The torque sensor was not tuned well and I was constantly having to adjust force applied to the pedals to maintain a slow speed so my analog buddy didn't fall behind. I could not maintain a constant cadence or it would take off leaving him behind. Don't get me wrong, the power was nice and it was fast uphill, but it was not refined. Technical climbing was more difficult because of the abrupt power changes of this motor and I messed up several sections because of this.
- The motor was quiet, but I could certainly hear a faint whine most of the time. When coasting the motor clicks like the pawls of a freehub.
- The controller is terrible, it's this cheap plasticky twist thing that isn't super intuitive and can stick in place shutting off the bike unintentionally. I accidentally turned off the bike several times because of this and accidentally changed modes several times.
- The "display" is just 5 dots for remaining battery that were green, blue, or purple for each mode. It showed nothing else. This also lifted up to reveal a USB-C port, but it was full of dirt and did not look water tight.
- BATTERY:
- The Trek has a 360Wh battery.
- This lasted surprisingly long. We did 3000 feet of climbing/descending over the course of ~4.5 hours and it used about 60% of the total capacity. I was riding mostly in 100w eco, with short stints in 200w and 300w. My legs and arms were totally beat at this point so I was satisfied. Trek has an available 160Wh range extender which would definitely make it like a 6000+ foot adventure day bike. I'd like to get more time on the bike in 200w and 300w modes to see how long it lasts on like a quick sprint after work.
- The Transition has a 430Wh battery.
- This also lasted pretty long, but since the display had only 5 dots I was only able to tell that I had used about half of the battery after climbing/descending about 2400 feet over 4 hours. This was also in the lowest power mode for most of that.
- WEIGHT:
- The Trek build that I rode was 44 pounds (the 9.5 build). It felt surprisingly light and handled very well in corners, in the air I could certainly feel it but it wasn't unmanageable. The more expensive builds are quite a bit lighter in the 39 to 42 pound range.
- The Transition build that I rode was definitely heavier than the Trek. It is quoted at 45.5 pounds on their site, but it felt more than 1.5 pounds heavier than the Trek. I felt it in the air for sure.
- GEOMETRY:
- I won't go into a ton of detail here, but both have a 460mm reach in the size mediums that I tested. I'm 5'9" and 160 pounds. The Transition has a slacker head tube angle by about 1.2 degrees at 63.3 degrees which I definitely noticed, especially in tighter corners and uphill switchbacks - it tripped me up a few times for sure.
- RIDE THOUGHTS:
- The Trek was surprisingly capable for only having 150/140mm of travel (you can fit a 160mm fork without voiding the warranty, the shock can be overstroked by 5mm to 152mm rear travel but I think that probably voids the warranty). I felt extremely comfortable with the geometry of this bike. The rear suspension felt supportive but not overly firm/harsh. I sent that thing down chunky black tech/flow trails all day and it handled it just fine. I certainly wanted a better fork/shock but it was a rental so that was fine. The 29" wheels didn't hold me back on technical climbing sections, tight switchbacks, or anything like that. It was actually my first time riding a 29er and I really enjoyed it. The bike felt heavyish but not too bad and was definitely manageable. Cornering felt good and it was pretty poppy/playful for an ebike. I only got to test a couple of jumps on it but it felt good and not too heavy in the air. It was very quiet without any discernible rattles or clunks. The components were okay, I'd definitely get better brakes/wheels/tires but SLX drivetrain is fine for how cheap it is.
- The Transition had a loud rattling noise coming from inside it (the battery/motowiring I'd assume) which was disconcerting. I had a really hard time vibing with the geometry of this bike. I couldn't seem to place my bodyweight properly and this resulted in some weird lines and a slip or two, and I'm not the greatest at cornering in the first place but I felt less confident on this bike. This was also my first time riding a long/slack bike with mullet wheels and a coil so that was an adjustment. Having 170/170mm travel felt like it could do anything, but I haven't really enjoyed Fox forks in the past and this one was no exception to that - too much stiffness in the initial stroke resulted in a lot of chatter through the handlebars and my arms are really sore from that. The rear definitely stuck to the ground really well with the coil shock. The TRP brakes were amazing, possibly too amazing because I was not used to the power. This bike was certainly heavier and less playful, though the few jumps I did felt really good. Handling the bike in the air was tricky because of the weight. The new Sram XO transmission felt good but not $2000 good - I did not think it felt revolutionary and there's no way in hell I'd spend that much on a drivetrain on a future bike. Sure the shifts were crispy and you could down/upshift under power but I still don't think it was worth how much they ask for that thing.
- LOOKS:
- IMO the new Trek Fuel EX and EXe look super sexy and I love the color options they have. The paint appeared to be very high quality and the blue color I rode was gorgeous. Most people on the trail didn't recognize the fact that I was riding an ebike because the TQ motor is tiny and hidden behind the chainring.
https://preview.redd.it/pi82o6c2px3b1.jpg?width=1343&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=e1a95b09dea6354a7cacc1f16c4aa9cfab68b09b - The Transition looks very Transition and was definitely more noticeable as an ebike. I like the looks and colors, but it didn't have the polish that the Trek did and the paint was not as high quality.
https://preview.redd.it/nymqfrn3px3b1.jpg?width=1304&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=725665f0bc337486b4888f67553389928621c283 Overall, I was already leaning towards the Trek but now I've made a final decision and will be picking up the Trek next weekend since I found the exact build/color I want within a couple hour drive. The motor was just so much more refined and made the experience feel more like an enhanced mountain biking experience than an ebiking experience that's slightly lighter. The Transition is just too expensive for the level of refinement that you get from the Fazua system. If the Transition's cheaper builds came in carbon and with better components than I might reconsider, but still the motor system was not great enough to justify the expense IMO. submitted by slightly__sketchy to ebikes [link] [comments] |

Hey Gang,
Many moons ago I played a one shot homebrew character called Senior Esqueleto, the high skeleton luchador of justice using a luchador homebrew class. Now I have the opportunity (starting at lvl 3) to play a high flying wrestler or luchador (yes ik there are some big differences, I'm down to hear all ideas!).
I'd love some advice both character wise and build wise on how to make a good grappler. From all my reading my best bets are: Barbarian, Rune Knight Fighter, Bard-Barian (Valor), Astral Monk.
This campaign is starting at lvl 3, they've already been playing, I'm looking to be a frontline control, not so much a dmg dealer. I'd be doing a lot of high flying, off the ropes, clothesline attacks with a bunch of 1 liners. Biggest inspirations would be old 80s/90s wrestling and luchadors in general.
Any recommendations on race, class, themes and any ideas you have are welcome! Not looking to min max, but I want to be at least useful and pull off some silly stuff

2023.06.04 07:14 DoYouLikeHueyLewi5 Development time needed to catch Red Bull
Newish fan here, have watched every Qualy and race since 2021 and love the sport. My question is concerning F1 car development. Right now Max and Red Bull are dominant. Even when they take it easy, it seems like they have a .500 a lap advantage over the whole field. The car is lightning quick in one lap in the hands of Max and has great race pace as well, meaning their advantage is probably even more than .500 if Max really pushed. It’s so bad even Marko and Horner have stated that they are confused as to how they grew their lead even further this year over Ferrari and Mercedes. My question is: in terms of development time, is there any chance a team can catch them by the start of the 2024 season when they have such a big lead? Would love to hear from lifelong fans who a feel for this kind of stuff.

2023.06.04 07:04 QTPie_314 Positive HAES Initiative or Weird? Weight based race division
I'm curious about folks take on this: My local running club hosts a race series. You accumulate points over the course of the season based on how well you do in your division at each race you attend. At the end of the season there are trophies for the top three in each division. This series features something I haven't encountered elsewhere - a special division for athletes over a certain weight. When registering you can either sign up in your age group (by decade) or opt-in to the weight based category. This is mutually exclusive - either you're racing people of your decade OR in the weight group inclusive of all decades. There are about 20 participants a season in each age division and the same number in the weight divisions.
In sentiment I appreciate the initiative with two hesitations detailed below. I think it encourages competitive running for people who feel like their weight makes them uncompetitive in their age group. It may also signal to prospective runners that this running club is size inclusive and doesn't think a runner's body is necessarily a thin body. There are other inclusivity measures at the races like an early start option for walkers/hikers at the longer races and multiple distance options at most races. The participants are a motley crew spanning a variety of ages, sizes, and running experience. The vibes are good.
I get conflicted on two aspects: 1) The actual arbitrary number they have chosen to be the cutoff is mind-bogglingly low for the women's division at least. I worry it could be triggering for people to see such a low number and think that is the weight at which peak running performance is reached. I would have struggled looking at that number as a teenager. I surpassed that weight at 13 years old and have been above it ever since. I had a successful career as a high school varsity XC runner above the listed weight while struggling with PCOS!
2) Athletic performance and weight aren't a linear relationship by any means. Having a cutoff weight is weird because weight and athletic performance aren't particularly correlated. Many competitive female endurance athletes struggle with eating disorders striving for an arbitrary weight they think will give them a competitive advantage. It's taken me half my life to unlearn this association and I still need regular reminders. There are plenty of super fast athletes above the cutoff weight in this race series. Luckily everyone seems to self sort into the division where they will face the stiffest competition. If they are above the weight but competitive in their age group then they still compete in their age group and leave the weight group for people who feel like they are not competitive in their age group. I run in my age group because that is where I will face close competition.

2023.06.04 06:58 fightingsou1 Maximum Possible Lifting Capacity [and can you lift a Tarrasque]? (UA allowed)
So let's start with a Belt of Storm Giant Strength for STR 29. We could theoretically have infinite strength with Manuals of Gainful Exercise, but that's "cheating", so let's avoid that. Base Carrying Capacity: 435 lbs. Next, race: Goliath for Powerful Build. Capacity is now 870lbs.
Now, we move to class. As far as my limited knowledge can tell, the best class split is Giant Barbarian 14/Glory Paladin 6. The Glory Paladin levels really don't matter as much, but it means hey, we have base access to Enhance Ability, and more importantly, Channel Divinity. Let's also say a friendly mage brewed a potion of Enlarge just to go along with it. They could cast it on us, but that means we can't say we're "doing this on our own".
Now, with these elements factored, we have a x4 from going to Huge via Giant barb, x2 again from Enlarge to Gargantuan, x2 from Channel Divinity: Glory, and then x2 from Enhance ability. This is altogether a 32x multiplier, for CC 27840lbs.
But wait, there's more! We still have feats. It's slightly questionable whether or not Brawny and Outsized Might stack with Goliath powerful build, but we're theorycrafting, so let's say our theoretical DM is allowing it to see where this goes. We have another 4x multiplier, for a final CC of 111,360lbs and a max of 222,720lbs. This is just over 100 metric tons, which actually, is kinda balls. Why? Because your average weight Tarrasque is apparently around ~130 tons.
HOWEVER. With some engineering, and by that I mean a Block and Tackle system set up by several full adventuring parties, you can theoretically truss up and lift slightly more than 3 Tarrasques. Why would you do this? I don't know. Where would you get 3 Tarrasques? Don't ask me. But there's the math for you.
Technically, less than one big lizard. But also, technically, more than 3.

2023.06.04 06:57 coopdeloop_ Is Division 5 good for Street Stock C?
Hi all I am fairly new to the game; bought it less than a month ago. I have previous experience on AC and no irl experience besides driving daily pretty much. I started in road racing and thought thats all I was gonna work towards but started a little bit of oval and I really enjoyed it. So for the past week ive played a bit and purely focused on oval racing at least for now. I've gotten myself up to 4.43 in Class D and 1361 rating. On the website it says my projected division for next season in street stock is div 5... is that good? Also if anyone has recommendations for what cars/tracks i should buy for oval...i should just go NASCAR right?

2023.06.04 06:54 cannibalbreakfast What’s a thing your players have done that you actually really love?
I’ve started a new campaign with some friends and today they came up with the idea of their characters having “off screen confessionals” like the office or drag race where they rant and share their character’s thoughts with the table and it’s honestly HILARIOUS
what have your players done that you’ve absolutely loved?

2023.06.04 06:50 KarmaFarmer123456789 Have a few questions after finishing The Crippled God
I have now finished The Crippled God for the first time. I really enjoyed the novel, it was great, start to finish. I especially love how all four of the elder races participated in the final battle.
Now, I have quite a few questions about the book, so I'll just begin with:
What exactly were the Tiste Edur doing during the events of this book and Dust of Dreams? They kinda disappear after Reaper's Gale, it's weird that Tulas Shorn of all people was the most important Edur in the book.
I'm a bit confused on the existence of Korabas. Is there a particular reason she was created?
Another Korabas related topic, it is mentioned that Anomander Rake devised a trap to imprison her, do we learn anything else about the trap in Book of the Fallen or any other series?
How long have Mael and K'Rul been working together? Is this a recent thing?
One of the Pure Forkrul Assail mentions that other Assail on "distant continents". Do they show up in the book Assail or any of the NotMe?
I'm a bit confused on Heboric's storyline. Could someone give me a brief summary on it?
Is there a full list of casualties on the Battle of Spire?
What is the state of the Tiste Liosan's civilization after the novel?
Did Silanah survive the novel? What about Curdle and her sistelovefriend?
I'm a bit confused on T'Iam and the Eleint. Is T'Iam an entity that only exists when they are fused together?
Is the Errant's storyline continued in any other novel? He has both Draconus and the Oponn after him, can't imagine he'd evade Draconus for long.
So, Fener dying allowed the undead Jaghut, The Crippled God, and the T'lan Imass to return to their mortal bodies?
Why did Sinn go so psycho at the end?
What would happen to Hedge or Toc if they died? Would they return to Hood's gate, or would they die forever?
Who is the daughter that Crone mentioned? Another Great Raven?
Did anyone else feel like the Forkrul Assail were really unexplored compared to the other races? I would have liked it if there were some friendly Forkrul, because literally all of them in the main series is a villain.
Will Icarium's journey continue? Is there still danger of him getting enraged and annihilating cities?
So Tavore was a talon the entire time? Hmm, thought the empress would have been more thorough with background checking her right hand lol.
So Olar was killed with a bow that Kruppe gave Torrent? Was this part of a plot by K'Rul to kill a dangerous Elder God?
