2023.06.04 06:46 atothemess22 Anyone know how well I have to do on the placement test to get into Orgo?
I have AP credits for general chem and I don't want to have to retake the class. Apparently the AP credits only count really if you place out of gen chem according to the information page. Anyone know how well I have to do to place into Orgo so that I can have my credits counted? Planning on doing Environmental Engineering but have it declared right now as CS so I have to take Orgo and general chem if I don't place out as is.

2023.06.04 06:45 rubyphire78 Boomer in-laws don’t even know their own USA history.
It’s embarrassing to talk to my boomer parents and in-laws.
They didn’t know that Columbus was Italian and that he had murdered and pillaged his way through the Americas. They didn’t know about Jim Crow laws, Sundown towns, poll taxes, and poll tests that kept black Americans from being able to vote until the late 1960s. They didn’t know that the GI bill, after WWars, didn’t offer much of anything to black Americans who had served and prevented them from developing much of the generational wealth that was afforded to many white Americans. They didn’t know that the slave owners, in the south, actually got reparations after emancipation. They didn’t know what red-lining was. They have no idea what happened in Tulsa, OK (black Wall Street) or that NY city’s Central Park was a thriving black community called Seneca Village, or that an entire town in GA was flooded to remove the black people, or that Manhattan beach (in CA) was also a black community. They didn’t know Haiti was an island connected to the Dominican Republic (after a long and painful conversation about immigrants crossing the southern border). They didn’t know about American foreign policies in South America which has contributed to the mass exodus of people from their own countries. They are unaware of the current reproductive policies in many states in the USA. They have no idea what it takes to immigrate to the USA, today. They told me that poor people are getting paid by the government to stay home and not work (all that Covid money, apparently). They didn’t know that the second amendment was redefined in a Supreme Court case in 2008 and that is why a lot of gun laws are hard to implement today. They believe that boomers are not the responsible generation because they are not in government and we had to remind them that the average age of congress is almost 60 and that the current, and most recent former, president are boomers.
These are retired, well-educated, highly successful people and they are so ignorant about their own country’s history. I could go on and on.

2023.06.04 06:45 Bbygeezus Work from home dad in his early 70s, two toddlers, and no mom HELP
I’m kind of just concerned at this point. I’ve been nannying for a new family for a few weeks now. The children show a total absence of discipline and a complete lack of empathy likely due to the poor communication on the fathers part (he has told me repeatedly to threaten or bribe them, and from what I see at home he usually just screams at them or insults them and and says stuff like what’s wrong with you). I’m at my wits end these kids are so sweet, but they are absolutely wild I’m talking biting and breaking skin 30+ times a day (I’m sincerely not exaggerating). On top of this they smack people in the face and kick them as well as scream or throw things at them. They sometimes even just do this to get in a good laugh. The father has told me he does not discipline the children when me and the other nanny are not there. On top of this these children are sleep deprived. He does not allow nap time and in fact pulls them out of preschool, so they miss nap time. They get 10 hours of sleep a day at ages two and three. When they should be averaging closer to 16. I try my best to work around the damage the father is doing, but one college aged nanny can only do so much. I guess I’m just looking for tips on how to start from scratch with discipline because he has absolutely no set standards, and I have tried everything from gentle talks and time out talks to removing them from play areas or leaving places where they bite people, but with new Nannie’s coming in and out due to the severity and intensity of the job, the kids don’t respect us and see us as temporary fixtures in their life that are just going to eventually leave them so why not push their nanny’s buttons and push them away before they can get close and get hurt. However, being the first nanny that’s stuck around longer than three weeks in the past six months has led the youngest child to become very attached to me, and because he has never met and does not have contact with his mother, alongside with me nannying him at family events where it’s just me the dad and close family, he now thinks I’m his mom. He has recently taken to pushing away the other Nannie’s, screaming I want mommy and running toward me. When I tried calling him mommy to make it seem like a joke he said I’m not mommy you’re my mommy and I said no sweetie I’m xxxxx your nanny! And he got extremely upset, then later that night the other nanny tried to put him down and he screamed for mommy AGAIN and he came downstairs to me and his dad and only hugged me goodnight ignoring his father completely (HUGE RED FLAG IMO) and refused to let anyone besides me put him down. How do I teach this little boy that I’m the nanny and not his mommy when I wake him up feed him take him out and about all day and put him to bed? I keep trying to reference myself as nanny insertmynamehere, but he still calls me mommy, so I’m not sure how to explain to him in a simple way that I’m not mommy. I wouldn’t be as concerned if there was a mother in the picture because it would just likely be an instance of associating the word with someone he loves or if he called other important women in his life mommy but he only knows mommies from books or kids shows, and he only recently started calling me mommy after I became consistent with the job. Please someone help or offer advice. My heart is breaking for these poor children.

2023.06.04 06:45 Time_Pool_9643 My brother brother is getting married to my ex and invited me to the wedding.
Trigger warning: Suicide.
I (39M) have been a caretaker for my brother, Justin (33M) since he was 10. I was only 16 when our parents died. I had to take care of the household because my brother was still very little. I did everything for him. He was the apple of my eye. I guess I spoiled him a lot. I never dated that much because I was the breadwinner for my brother. That is until I met Melissa (35F), it was almost 10 years ago. We dated for 2 years. It was great, my brother loved her. One day, I eavesdropping a conversation she was having with her friend. The gist of that conversation was something like her friend was asking about me. Melissa said that she loves me a lot, she loves that I take care of her in every way. But I am pretty average when it comes to having sex. Her friend asked her if she is going to talk to me about it or how is she happy. She told her that her fixture is my brother. She went on to explain how she and Justin have been having an affair for 8 months. She thinks it is justified because she thinks Justin is better in bed than I am. You can imagine how painful it was for me. I went inside the house pretending I didn't hear a thing.
I confronted Justin about it. I know how get him to talk. I pressed this matter after he was denying it. He eventually broke down and said it was the truth. He didn't say anything because he didn't want to hurt me. He and Melissa are in love and wanted to get married but Melissa won't leave me. I was furious. I wanted to beat the shit out of him but I just told him he is dead to me and left. I also kicked out Melissa and she stayed with my brother and his roommates. My brother was banging on my door non-stop. I had to move in with a friend and told everyone to not disclose my location to my brothers. His calls and emails were all the same that he was sorry and he never wanted to hurt me and he will break up. I stopped the bank account (something like a trust fund) that I mad made for him that he can access when he is 25. He was not my brother anymore.
I went into deep depression. I didn't eat or sleep properly. I would have nightmares of my brother and ex laughing at me that I suck in bed. That if I was good enough she would have never left me. It got so bad that once I stood in front of a train track because it was too unbearable for me. Luckily, my friends saved me. I do not have much friends but they were my rock. I stayed with them for a year. I went to therapy, I did group sessions. I had a lot of anxiety regarding intimacy so I didn't date for a long time. My friend encouraged me to try. I did try once with a one night stand but it was bad for both of us. I still go to therapy to this day. But other aspects of my life has improved. I focused more on building new relationships with new people. I went to travel and explore more hobbies. I was living for myself.
I am in a relationship with someone for 3 years now. We are engaged and we are having a kid together. Wendy (32F) is a really nice person. She knows all about my insecurities and problems that I faced because of my brother. She was mature and patient with me. I was able to trust someone enough to be in a relationship. 2 days ago, I got an invitation in my mail about a wedding. And as the title says it was from my brother. He has kept tabs on me from afar and invited me to his wedding with none other than Melissa. Looking at their names doesn't hurt that much now. I feel numb. If it was 8 years ago, I would have a meltdown. I still feel this pain that I cannot be happy for my brother's big day. My fiancé suggests that we shouldn't go and delete the invite.

2023.06.04 06:44 felixthegirl Overwhelmed
I feel like I just need to vent.
I am feeling so overwhelmed with the job. I work in a high acuity single coverage site, I am a year out of training. Sometimes I love my job, sometimes it is so overwhelming and unsafe I can't breathe.
I have faced so many fears this year and become such a better doctor, but phew I am tired.
Today I saw the sickest baby I have ever seen. He came in grey and mottled and covered in petechiae. I thought he was going to die. He didn't, barely. He might still, but he flew away from my little shop to a big hospital.
At the same time he was trying to die a little girl came in seizing for the first time and not breathing, desaturating and almost needed an airway.
My shop is single doc coverage with 2-3 PAs, unless overnight when the doc is alone for 6 hours. We see an average of 100 per day.
Last week I had two codes at once. I dropped a tube in a crashing patient, handed it to the nurse and walked to the other code, ran it, called it, walked back to my other patient who was now coding. Got her back, spent the next hour juggling expanding her pressers, abx, trying to think straight about what might be killing her, while juggling an exploding room.
I had a patient with AMS, stridor, anisicoria, a decannulated trach that was placed 1 month prior and hypercarbia. ENT said he had a full day of clinic and wouldn't come in. He suggested I put something in the trach. I could only fit a 4.0 ETT but I could not ventilate, so then I intubated from above with a 6.5 and coordinated pulling the 4 out while I passed the 6.5
I have never met an otolaryngologist or an orthopedist in person. I have never seen an anesthesiologist. I have seen an CRNA once.
The first pediatric airway of my life and career was on an overnight shift, alone (I am always alone) where I had a miller 1 direct and an LMA. That is all. Nothing else. No back up. I got it... because I had to, what was the other option?
On slow days we have 20 in the dept at one time and I can breathe. On a busy day 30-40.
We see patient's in the WR. I work for corporate medicine. No one waits. I'm only a year out. I haven't even started paying my loans. I feel like I can't keep doing this. Is this what it is like other places? I feel like my situation might be on the extreme side, but it's all I know.

2023.06.04 06:44 AdFreeTamagotchi [IWantOut] 22M CostaRica -> USA
Looking to move to the US. I have the possibility to do so with the company that I'm working on, on an L1. I'm a software engineer with a C1 in English and a B2 in Mandarin, with a CS + Statistics degree and around 2 years of experience. I have the following questions:
- I don't care about living in the US as a long-term thing. I just want to save as much as possible for as long as this software engineering window is open. Which state potentially enables this? I can virtually go to any state and get paid a wage relative to that state and zone. I want to make sure that I optimize salary - (tax + cost of living).
- The current situation of the world kind of scares me on the econ side. Considering the unstable economical climate + GPT development in the following years, can I just come back to CR without any problem ignoring any implications I might have with my employer if I get laid-off?
- How do you deal with the idea of leaving your parents? It truly hurts me to know that they'll be here getting older, and that they might die, and I won't be able to use literally any amount of money to talk back to them.
- Which state might also be good to just enjoy myself on the weekends? I love hiking, camping, practicing my mandarin, dancing, reading and talking about the things I've read with random people, having a decent amount of social life (which I think I can develop in most places since I'm very very social). Would also love for the place to be liberal enough to do some short-term dating. This one is not a priority, but would be great if complimented with the first point.

2023.06.04 06:43 Embarrassed_Bench214 What If Germany won the Battle of Britian?
Now, Germany winning the Battle of Britian is extremely unlikely. The British had the advantage technologically speaking as German bombers (mostly lightly armed twin-engine planes such as the Heinkel He 111 and Junkers Ju 88) lacked the bomb load capacity to strike permanently devastating blows, and they also proved, in daylight, to be easily vulnerable to the British fighters. The German Junkers Ju 87 “Stuka” dive-bomber was even more vulnerable to being shot down, and their premier fighter—the Messerschmitt Bf 109—could provide only brief long-range cover for the bombers, since it was operating at the limit of its flying range. In addition to this, Germany had zero consistency in their plan of action. By the end of mid-august, the Luftwaffe had lost nearly 600 aircraft and the RAF had only lost 260 aircraft. So, I believe Germany could pull off a victory if Hitler and Goering had planned the whole course of action a little bit more. It'd also help if they had updated their premier aircraft as they were both well aware of the RAF's superiority and the flaws of their own planes. With these simple flaws updated, the division comprising of more than 1,300 bombers and dive-bombers, 900 single-engine, and 300 twin-engine fighters has a good chance of taking out the 600 frontline fighters of the RAF defending the island. I'd assume after the Battle of Britian is won, the British Air Defense weakened, and their major cities crippled, I assume Hitler would activate Operation Sea Lion. However, Hitler isn't an idiot. For as insane as he is, he knew that invading Britian was basically a death sentence. The Royal Navy, like the RAF in our timeline, absolutely blew Germany's naval capabilities out of the water. German high command knew they didn't have the ships to pull off a full-scale invasion, and they could never make a dent. Their forces would be decimated before they could even reach the shore. The absolute size of the Royal Navy far outweighed the Kriegsmarine (German Navy). To give you a perspective, the Kriegsmarine comprised of modified river boats that couldn't control themselves and were pulled by tugboats. These forces would be demolished before they could even reach the shore, so.... yeah. Operation Sea Lion is more of a nightmare than the final nail in the coffin for the allies like it's often perceived as.

2023.06.04 06:42 Not-Tentacle-Lad New Resident Of Pleasant Grove, Noise Concern
I don’t want to be a Karen but there’s no way to avoid it… I live near State and Main in Pleasant Grove, been here for about 8 months. One nagging constant is obnoxiously loud cars revving their engines up and down state street at all hours of the night. Don’t particularly care about it in the middle of the day, but it’s a really regular occurrence that I get woken up past midnight by someone’s car(s). Don’t know if they’re just joyriders, one or a few collective of people, or generally ignorant/inconsiderate, but it’s really killing living here.
I’m curious if anyone else in the area has any insight. I’m from the main valley originally… I’ve lived in Murray/Taylorsville area and North Salt Lake/Bountiful area and NEVER had this issue before. Do we just have a lot of people down here with the intelligence of cavemen? Have people in our community complained to the police or city authorities but there’s something impeding change?
I’m probably gonna get ridiculed by people because it’s Reddit and there’s always that one person that likes loud cars so they get offended reading about someone equating loud car people to morons, but I thought I’d give it a try. Kinda just venting too; people are really inconsiderate and suck. Never had people blasting their stereos and revving their engine at 2AM until I moved south of the point of the mountain. Kinda makes me want to move back up north when my lease is up.
In reality, can our community do anything about it? Or am I just going to see the nasty side of Reddit make fun of me for not wanting to tolerate smooth brains who are too ignorant to consider their noise level in the middle of the night.

2023.06.04 06:42 dezzeed Car recommendation?
Hi I'm looking at getting a different subaru I currently have a crosstrek but it's expensive and I want something cheaper, I've rebuild 4 cars and I'm trying to decide between a mid 00s outback, legacy and impreza obs I want a legacy, because they're the cheapest insurance and mpg wise of the mid 00-09 cars but an outback or obs are both considerable more useful any input would be helpful. Outback sedan is honestly what I want because I don't care that much for the trunk space it's more the ability to reasonably take it camping, and lug the occasional transmission or engine around. But they're impossible to find, much less in manual. Thanks.

2023.06.04 06:42 AmbitiousSkirt2 The one piece ANIME gets too much undeserved hate
Now I just want to start with saying I know majority of the people say the manga is top tier. But man the anime gets way too much hate even down to people saying the entire anime is trash and subpar. In me eyes it isn’t it’s the greatest anime. Best piece of fiction in this world.
I’ve never felt so much emotion watching an anime before. I’ve never felt so much hype watching fights before. I’ve never felt so much awe watching world building before. I’ve never fell in love with characters before like I have in one piece. I’ve never loved the interactions between characters like I have when I watch once piece.
I understand the pacing is bad sometimes post timeskip. Dressrosa was long I get it fishman island was kinda ass I get it wano pacing right now is kinda bad I get it. The animation can be flashy I get it. But to say the anime is trash because of this is insane to me.
I was so hooked watching one piece I was watching 20 episodes maybe more a day I watched the entirety of one piece in just a couple months because it was just so addicting. And I read the manga after and I just don’t understand and never will how people say the anime is trash I will never understand how they call it even average. One piece killed everything else for me a little because it was just that damn amazing.
Watching this anime was one of the best experiences of my life. The manga is amazing don’t get me wrong but watching the anime is just a different kind of joy.

Hi! As you will see, I didn't publish research/co-author a papecreate a non-profit/found a company/present at a science faiwin a national award/etc/etc. Hopefully future applicants will learn something idk. I realize the post is very long, at the end is my reflection/advice. Keeping it vague because I don't want to get exposed as a Reddit user to my friends
Demographics - Gender: Female
- Race/Ethnicity: Asian
- Residence: US
- Type of School: Competitive Public
- Hooks: None
Intended Major: MechE
Academics - GPA: 4.0 UW, 4.5 W
- W GPA is lower than some top students at school because I took a lot of random electives that weren't AP/Honors
- Rank: no rank
- # of Honors/AP/Dual Enrollment: 16 total
- Senior Year Course Load: Calc 3 & Linear Alg Dual Enrollment @ local CC, AP Bio, AP English, 1 engineering elective, AP Government, AP Micro, school orchestra
Standardized Testing - SAT: 1570 (780 RW, 790 M)
- AP: All 5s (including Physics 1, C Mech & EM, Calc BC) except 4 AP English in junior year
Extracurriculars/Activities - Robotics (9-12, mechanical lead in 12th): by far my biggest time commitment but also my least favorite activity because team politics :
- Robotics Internship at local university (12): sounds cool but wasn't actually. Followed undergraduate researcher around the lab, failed a couple of 3D prints, mixed some chemicals. No reports published, no research authored. At least I had fun
- Independent project with university professor (10): also sounds cool but wasn't actually. got the project through pure nepotism because it was COVID and my parents were stressed I was doing jack shit at home, again at least I had fun
- Volunteer for science organization (9-12): my favorite activity I easily spent 200+ hours on it to the point where my parents told me to chill a bit because I was not doing other things. basically teaching younger students various science topics
- Orchestra (9-12): played oboe/english horn in highest ranked youth orchestra in the area. Liked orchestra, did not like lessons and practice
- Soccer (9-12): JV (9,10) and varsity (11,12). did pretty well in JV but ate more snacks than I played matches in varsity
- School Rocket Club (9-11): I was really into rockets and such in middle school but then I stopped liking it in the middle of 10th grade and I stuck it out until 11th but gave up in 12th
- Random ass personal robot project (11): I was bored. It looked really janky and barely worked but the colleges don't need to know that. Submitted to a total of 0 science fairs/awards.
- Local children's museum volunteer (9-12): I quite enjoyed this one even though it involved talking to people. Basic museum staff things like front desk management, giving prizes to kids, telling people where the bathroom is when the giant sign is right above them
- Playing piano (9-12): In the Common App's "Position/Leadership Description" I wrote "Hobby" lmao
Awards/Honors - Robotics team award
- State/County honor bands
- Qualified for AIME in 11th and 12th (for the record, both years I made it by 1.5 points and got 1 point on the actual AIME, but again, colleges don't need to know that) (unless they asked for it in their application)
- National Merit Semi Finalist
- Spanish award from school
Letters of Recommendation I would say my rec letters were probably pretty good. I got 3 recs total, with at most 2 going to each college depending on what teachers they wanted. I'd known them for all four years of high school some way or another, so I had a more friend-friend relationship with them instead of teacher-student.
Interviews MIT: My first interview! It was definitely a "I ask you answer" kinda feel instead of conversational. The guy would not stop staring at me and smiling which I think meant he was listening to me intently but I was a bit unnerved
Cornell: He was really nice and funny but he also did most of the talking. I vibed with him though
Princeton: Was given the option to do either in-person or virtual, chose Zoom because I couldn't be bothered to go out of my house. Also I was on vacation when they emailed and I didn't email back until my interviewer sent a follow-up email. The interview itself was good though, she was from the same area I'm from so we had some things in common.
Essays I spent a hell of a lot of time writing my essays. I had one outside paid tutor look at some of them, but only a couple since I ran out of time near the end and most of the RD essays went unchecked. I really liked my personal statement though. I can explain more in detail if you want to known through DMs but it wasn't anything big and sad and traumatic, I think it was kind of funny and said a lot about my personality/my values.
Decisions Acceptances: - A handful of safeties that were all coincidentally in the middle of nowhere
- Purdue (EA)
- UIUC (EA)
- UMichgan (EA)
- Georgia Tech (EA)
- UCLA
- UC Berkeley
- UPenn
- Princeton
Waitlists: - Northeastern (deferred EA)
- Cornell
- HMC
Rejections: - Yale
- Columbia
- Rice
- Northwestern
- MIT
Reflection (skip to next section if you don't wanna read me ranting about my college choices):
Ultimately, I chose Princeton over the strong public engineering schools (which I think are ranked higher in terms of engineering than Princeton?) because of a couple of reasons:
- Majors--I tried compsci this year and quite enjoyed it, so I started also considering CS/EE/CE over MechE. At Berkeley switching would be virtually impossible, and it would be difficult at the other public schools as well due to capped major policies and such.
- Size--I didn't like the size of public schools. I personally know students who loved it, but I really didn't want to go to a big school.
- Undergraduate programs--Princeton really sold me on their "undergraduate focused" school, basically that due to their very small graduate population a lot of their resources like funding, research opportunities, faculty are much more available to undergraduates than other schools with a large graduate body.
- Prestige--yeah I'm not gonna lie prestige definitely pushed me and my parents in the Princeton direction, especially as immigrants they were excited about Ivys
Side note: I'm OOS for all publics, but even then I think Princeton had the highest price for me. They did give me financial aid (albeit a very small amount) which helped. Whichever school I chose, my parents had enough savings so I wouldn't have to take out loans, which I'm very grateful about.
Advice:
I'm honestly just as clueless as you are as to college admissions, but here's my take from the past several months. If I had to guess which part of my application got me into these schools--since I know there are people with more "impressive" ECs and awards who got rejected--I would say my essays and everything that comes with them. I wrote them about things that were unique to me, in ways that were unique to me. None of them were about really impactful things, but I'd like to say they were very honest about me and my life, which I think showed my personality really well. In a similar vein, I truly enjoyed my extracurriculars. If I could redo high school, I wouldn't not do any of them. I think this showed in my essays as well. Another note: for a lot of my extracurriculars, I did them for all four years of high school and continued them even after application season, which is definitely a plus as it shows admissions officers commitment and that I'm passionate about what I do, not just starting in junior year for college.
Hoping this helped! If you have any questions, feel free to DM, but please take everything here with a grain of salt because the biggest lesson I've learned through this process is that it all really comes down to luck.

2023.06.04 06:40 Slow-Complaint-3273 How Unions Can Help You
You deserve good wages for your skills and education. You deserve a safe and respectful work environment. You are not a replaceable cog in a massage machine. The most commonly referenced benefit that unions can bring your team is higher pay. Union employees on average receive $200/week more than non-unionized employees. By increasing transparency and objective policies in payroll, unions help reduce wage gaps for women and workers of color. Unions give workers a venue to identify workplace safety hazards, and the power to pressure management to fix dangerous conditions. Union members have greater job security, even in “at-will” states where employers can fire employees for almost any legal reason.*
Other advantages that union representation can bring are:
• Greater access to retirement plans and pensions
• Improved insurance benefits
• More paid vacation, sick leave, and PTO
• Reliable schedules and better working hours
• Higher OSHA compliance at workplaces
• More equitable promotions and career advancement opportunities
• Paid education opportunities
Union organizations that are part of the Union Plus network also have access to membership discounts for a variety of shopping venues and services.
Because the employees have come together to demand better treatment, union members feel a strong sense of camaraderie and connection. Their workplace reflects their needs and values. Employees are invested in their jobs and feel empowered to make their studio a place to be proud to work for.
Unions can also benefit management. A recent Norwegian study found that unionized shops showed increased productivity over non-union shops. Potential reasons offered for this difference include reduced employee attrition, leading to less time and resources spent on training new hires. Higher wages and better working conditions may attract better and more skilled applicants, also increasing productivity and efficiency.
Some of us are lucky enough to work for fantastic managers and franchise owners. But this security is always precarious. There are too many stories of franchises being sold to new owners, beloved managers being replaced by micromanagers, and a supportive environment becoming toxic. A well-negotiated union contract can solidify an inter-supportive relationship between labor and management. And if the studio is sold in the future, that contract can ensure that the culture you and your leadership team worked so hard to create will survive the new ownership.
*Note: Certain employee actions are considered protected activity and cannot be a cause for terminating employment. Those include but are not limited to activity related to collective bargaining or organizing a union, filing a report against your employer with a government agency (e.g. the Department of Labor), or discussing pay and work conditions with your coworkers.

2023.06.04 06:40 Chefgin Initial stock help
I have a 55 gallon display with 3 separate 20 gallons and a 40 gallon sump all in one connected system cycling right now. The issue is this tank is in my new house 9 hours away from my current. The location it's in is very remote (top michigans upper peninsula about and hour or two from Marquette) and im a bit confused on how I should be going about stocking this tank initially. I'd like it to be a mixed a reef tank, but I am scared of me introducing to much and the tank crashing. It's got about 70lbs of live rock plus live sand and the sump. The fish I want to add are 2 engineer gobies, 2 clownfish, and other various nano reef fish. Plus a lot of coral. How should I go about this without doing long drives back and forth? Thank you!

2023.06.04 06:39 rpooping Are batting averages accurate?
I've been interested in watching baseball for a while, but I only saw my first full unedited game recently. As I understand it, batting average is the percentage of hits to at-bats, and the general "good" number is .300. But in the game I watched, it seemed like the batters were hitting it nearly every time? Is there something I don't understand about what a batting average is.
