I hate to say it but I really cannot just stand people.. Or life, really... anymore.
A so-called friend stayed with me for about a week and they were supposed to help me with groceries today, because they have eaten almost all of mine (they even opened a new pint of ice cream that I bought a few days before they even got here and ate ALL but 1/4 of it.. And never even asked to open it!!). I like to conserve my food, since I have a child to feed. I don't think a person should eat a whole thing of ice cream in a span of 2 days !!! But anywho, that day was supposed to be today and now they're telling me they don't have ANY money!!!!. Then they just left... Like "ok, well.. I have to go try to take care of some things. Thanks. See ya later." And walked out... I'm just so angry right now.!!!!
Here I am, with a 2 year old boy (also 4 months pregnant). But he is going to be hungry for the next few days until I get my food stamps, and I don't want him to suffer during that time because I'm completely out of options. I'm beyond sad to say I'll likely be selling my 300. I'm not sure what the replacement will be but wanted to get some ideas on pricing because the car is not in perfect shape.
Here's the details. 2013 300 Base Black on Black
Interior - driver seat leather split in seam - impressions on rear seat headrest leather from baby car seats (didn't know that would happen)
Exterior - rear bumper scuffs, need paint - both fog light areas cracked (kids stepped on them) - one fog light trim is off (I have it) - 2 miinor dings - needs a buff
Mechanical - needs 750 in driver front suspension work - car runs and drives flawless
Electrical - intermittent issue where backup camera doesn't display, it's just a loose wire I haven't gotten around to fixing - bluetooth module doesn't work ($150)
Tires - probably have a couple years left ok them
The car has 151K on the odo. Has been well maintained, no accidents (other than someone minor tapping rear bumper)
Recent fixes - replaced tail light (I cracked it by leaning on it) - replaced windshield wiper nozzles
I'll fix the suspension before selling so that won't be an issues.
So, I'm 110% forthcoming because that's just how i am and will disclose all of this to any potential buyers.
The car is definitely not perfect, but it does run perfect, drivers perfect, and other than the Bluetooth and superficial blemishes, it's a great car.
The only reason I'm selling is because I need to.

I recently acquired a Honda VFR 1999 motorcycle, and unfortunately, I'm facing some major electrical issues. I'm hoping someone here can offer some guidance and advice on troubleshooting and resolving the problem.
Today, while I was out for a ride, I noticed that the dashboard suddenly showed 0 km/h and started flickering. Soon after, my motorcycle came to a halt, and I quickly realized that smoke was emanating from beneath the seat. It turned out that the battery had exploded, leading to spilled sulfuric acid. After examining the situation, I inspected the fuses and seemed to be ok, then connected a new battery.
However, I'm currently experiencing several persistent problems. The dashboard and headlights remain non-functional, but the motorcycle can crank. Unfortunately, it refuses to start the engine. Interestingly, a few days before the incident, I had noticed that the voltmeter connected to the battery was displaying a reading of 18V, which is considered overcharging. This high voltage level may have been the cause behind the old battery's explosion. It's worth mentioning that the previous owner had replaced the regulator rectifier.
Now, my main concern is whether the regulator might have damaged either the stator or the battery, given the symptoms I'm experiencing. I would greatly appreciate your advice on the initial steps I should take to diagnose and address this issue. Should I prioritize testing the regulator?

So - you finally decided to start a seablock run after playing around in vanilla factorio (or maybe some space exploration / K2 / AE / etc). You load up a new install of factorio, search the mod listing for seablock... and find 2 options: seablock, and seablock pack. Perhaps going by the latest update (seablock), or by just the name, you decide to select seablock - start the game... and its not quite the same as you expect (or perhaps you post some screenshots of your starter base online and notice all the comments of 'you got the wrong modpack!'). So let me clarify for you!

Seablock & Seablock pack:

Seablock (as a mod) is a barebones mod that includes all the changes necessary to play seablock. It adds the extra recipes / items, along with checking which mods you have installed and updating their settings for a proper seablock experience. It does not however require all the mods you need for a full seablock experience.
Seablock pack (as a mod) is an empty mod that only contains dependencies to all the required mods you want to use to play seablock. Basically, if you start a vanilla factorio install and select 'seablock pack' as a mod to install, it will install all the necessary mods for a seablock run (yes - including the 'seablock' mod!)
Which of the two to use? I would highly recommend you install the 'seablock pack' which will install and enable all the necessary mods for a proper seablock experience. After doing that and ensuring the 'seablock pack' is enabled (not red) you can then disable any of the included mods you dont wish to play with (ex: helmod if you prefer factory planner, explosive excavation if you prefer waterfill). This will disable the 'seablock pack' (marking it red), but that doesnt matter at this point!

What you miss by running barebones (not using seablock pack):

• All of bob's mods
  • no multi-tiers for power poles, steam engines, nuclear, solar, furnaces, T4-6 assembly machines, warfare (power armor), beacons, and many more.
  • electric assemblers (2x2 assemblers specifically for circuit parts)
  • bob's aliens (higher tier worms & return of alien artifacts)
  • fluid burning boilers / heat sources (no bean power for you!)
• circuit processing
  • additional steps for making circuits
  • revamp of the entire module production chain that makes things much more complicated for the authentic seablock experience
• ks power
  • this is your windmill mod!
  • if you start the game with solar panels & accumulators, its because this mod isnt enabled. This is a good hint that you havent installed the full seablock modpack, and the reason why screenshots of starter bases with solar panels instead of windmills have comments of 'install full seablock pack!!!!'
• landfill painting / waterfill
  • set the type of ground used for landfill (unless you like the dirt-brown look of vanilla landfill) and the ability to place water
  • can also create other types of landfill (in case you want to use more than 1) along with an option to 'rotate' between different types.
• reskin mods
  • Recolors the various buildings based on tiers (grey/yellow/red/blue/purple/green) instead of having all buildings look the same
  • Adds higher resolution graphics
  • Changes item graphics to be 'better' and not look as dated
  • The other reason your screenshots might get the 'install full seablock pack!!!' comments
• sci cost tweaker
  • Switches out the science pack recipes from vanilla to more complicated 'full seablock experience' versions
  • Very important!
• Space mod
  • Adds an endgame past launching a rocket
  • Instead of the game ending after you launch the rocket you now have to research and assemble a spaceship to take you away (win the game)
  • Involves hundreds of rocket launches for the space science, along with FTL research (over 1m science packs total required!) which necessitates you to transition to a megabase design to fully complete the game.

Which mods can I remove from the seablock pack and still get the full experience?

• Angels addons storage
  • Adds warehouses & high capacity tanks - you can play without them (or install a different warehouse style mod), but I would recommend leaving it
• Bob's (adjustable) inserters
  • Allows you to set the pickup/dropoff positions of inserters (aka: you can now have 90* inserters!).
  • Very helpful for direct insertion designs, though not strictly necessary for a 'full' seablock experience.
  • Give them a try if you never played with them, and if they arent your cup of tea then sure - remove them.
• Bob's Warfare
  • Adds higher tier armor, sniper rifles, etc. Really the only major change removing this will have on your game is that instead of a regular radar for your space science you will need to make T5 radars which require like 20+ ingredients (total).
  • Used to be that this mod also added a bunch of (unnecessary) war research & sci packs that just bloated the item screen, but that has been removed so there really isnt a good reason to remove this mod
• Bob's Mining
  • Only adds research for faster deconstruction (steel axe research). Can be removed if you dont mind longer times for hand-deconstruction.
• Explosive excavation
  • Adds ability to place water tiles by 'blasting' (requires chem-science with explosives)
  • Can be removed & replaced with waterfill or similar if you want easier water placement, or have a preference for a different water placement mod.
• KS Power
  • Ok, fine - if you want you can remove this mod and start with solar panels & accumulators. Not really going to loose much in terms of 'authentic seablock experience', but be ready for the 'you arent using the full seablock pack! Install from -here-!' comments for any screenshot of your starter base.
• Landfill painting
  • Its nice to have, but if you are ok with the 'default' landfill texture you can just disable this mod.
• Space Expansion mod
  • If you want a shorter game or are simply not interested in megabase content you can remove this mod, changing the 'win' condition from launching hundreds of rockets / finishing 1m research (for FTL) / building the spaceship to simply 'research and launch 1 rocket' as in vanilla.
  • Should decrease the overall playtime from 500+h for a first run to maybe the range of 300h as you still need to figure out all the various tech and reach the endgame, but arent required to build a megabase, struggle with UPS, etc.
• FNEI
  • The 'what is this item' search mod. Remove it only if you know you will not need it! In any case it is a very minimal mod, so if you dont need it you can just ignore the little icon for it.
  • Recipe book is an alternate option
  • If this is your first time playing seablock, I would highly recommend keeping this mod!
• Helmod
  • This is your planner mod - once you know how to use it you can plan out your factory with it and use correct ratios / recipes instead of having to do all of that on paper (or just guesstimating)
  • Remove it only if you have alternative planners!
    • factory planner
    • YAFC (external program)
    • Foreman 2 (external program)

Which additional mods should I add?

Check out the commonly used mods page on the wiki for ideas. Also, any QOL mods that you prefer (picker mods, companion drones / early robots / nanobots, some version of loaders, squeakthrough, text plates, LTN, longer reach, etc.)

TL/DR:

If you want the full seablock experience or came here after watching DoshDoshington (or any other youtube seablock videos) and want to play the game they played then you want to:

1. Install factorio and ensure its the latest version
2. Disable any mods you may have
3. Install the 'seablock pack' (not 'seablock'!) mod
4. Ensure that the seablock pack mod is enabled (not red/grey!)
5. (optional) disable helmod / install factory planner, add any QOL mods you may want to add (check out the 'commonly used mods' page on the wiki for ideas)
6. Start the game (freeplay)

I'm about to start leasing a BMW 2 series active tourer, never owned a hybrid before. I could do without extensive work to fit a dedicated charging station, I know for fully electric cars the charge time on a wall socket would be ridiculous, but for a hybrid charging overnight is that OK?

with each passing day, it gets closer to the end of the year, where we will have the dlcs
and perhaps, the possible origin of the paradoxes
and there is this famous theory that they are created through imagination (which I cross my fingers is false)
i really hate this theory because besides it just makes their existence boring (at least for me)
It also pisses me off that everyone who believes in this theory just claims it, as if it were confirmed.
(this is something that I notice in many pokemon theories, it has never been confirmed, but if you ask those who believe it, they will immediately say that it is real)
the paradoxes are too interesting to simply be dismissed as "just the imagination of two strange scientists"

The building had a reputation for being haunted. Kids would dare each other to go inside, but unlike other places around town, they would actually see something- or at least claim that they did.
Little Jamie Curry, 9-years-old, went into the basement of the abandoned Leatherman’s complex on a dare and saw a zombie. He said he knew it wasn’t just some guy in an outfit because the zombie had a grapefruit-sized hole in its chest, and he could actually see right through the middle of the thing. He had run right past his group of friends who were patiently waiting outside, screaming and wetting himself as he went.
Another young kid from my town, Alicia DeSilva, 11-years-old, said it was all a bunch of garbage, that she wasn’t afraid of a run-down factory building, except for maybe the asbestos which her uncle told her “rots your lungs from the inside”. She had said she would even go inside it at night. Why not? After all, there were no such things as ghosts or boogeymen.
One of her friends told Alicia that if she went inside Leatherman’s main building at night, grabbed something from the basement and brought it back out for their mutual inspection, the friend would pay Alicia five dollars. Alicia had gasped. Five bucks was a good amount to someone like her. With five dollars, she could even get a kit so that she could finally fix her bike tire. They all met in front of the building, and Alicia disappeared into the dark fire doors on the side of the building, full of bravado and still laughing as she went inside.
Except unlike Jamie Curry, Alicia never came back out screaming and wetting herself, never had a chance to tell some unbelievable story about what she encountered in the fetid basement of that place. Her body was never found. The police were called after a few hours, and they searched the entire building from top to bottom. They were able to follow some fresh footprints in the dust that might have been Alicia’s, but when they got to the basement, the prints just disappeared- as if the person making them had simply gotten sucked up into the ceiling. And yet they did find one thing, the only real evidence left in the entire building that night. What they found still gives me nightmares sometimes.
One of her eyeballs was inside a snowglobe. The glass and foundation of the snowglobe were all intact, and there were no signs of foul play anywhere on the decoration. It was as if it had been manufactured that way- with that blue, staring eye floating lazily next to plastic mountains and white glitter snowflakes.
In my nightmares, I often see an old woman shaking that snowglobe, an old hag who cackles and whose split lips form into a dreadful smile as she stares directly at me. The eye and the glitter all hang suspended in the water for a moment, then begin to fall slowly, the eye spinning rapidly as it drifts down the front of the globe. And when it’s stopped, I see it is looking directly at me, and it still looks frightened.

OK, so that last paragraph was pretty dark. But what I’m trying to communicate is just how terrifying that place is. The kids in school know what’s going on, though, at least in a general way. After all, Alicia and Jamie came from among them, and they’re not the only ones. Others have gone into the building before. And Matt wants me to go with him tomorrow to look at it.
Maybe that’s why the dreams are getting worse. Maybe that’s why I’ve woken up screaming twice in the last few hours. Because there was something else, too, something else I saw in my nightmares. In that building, around the back walls, there were dozens of kids. Their skin was chalk-white, their hair and eyes all pure black. They were dead. And then thousands of “Missing” posters started to fly down, all of them of smiling children. I looked between the ones surrounding me and the posters and noticed that some of them showed these same kids. I turned to run but little rotted hands started pulling me down and then, I was sitting straight up in bed, yelling and pleading.
I really don’t want to go in that building tomorrow.

OK, so Matt and I went inside the doorway. No way was I going in the basement. But just the front doorway… well, that wasn’t too bad. I even stuck my head in and looked around inside.
Matt didn’t see it, but I did. There was something huge in the front hall. It wasn’t much more than a silhouette. It looked like a very tall, very thin man in a suit whose neck was all twisted and strange. It came off his chest like a snake’s, turning and curling back on itself, and at the end it had this reptilian face. Everything about the man was hairless and slimy. I could smell the strange stuff on his skin.
But by the time I had gotten Matt’s attention and pointed it out to him, the guy was gone. I don’t know how he disappeared so fast.
Matt was making fun of me as we walked home afterwards, pointing at random alleyways and asking, “Do you see him there, too?” and then laughing. It wasn’t that funny. I’ll prove to him there was someone in there.

I convinced Matt to come back with me. I need to see what’s in there. He wasn’t thrilled about it, but I told him an older kid offered to pay $10 for a souvenir from the place, and that I’d split it with him if he went with me. All of this was total crap, of course. But I want to see what was in there, and I definitely want these dreams to stop.
“You know, you’re lucky you have a friend as brave and manly as me,” Matt said, puffing up his little bird-chest. “After what happened to those other schmucks, everyone has been avoiding this place like the plague.”
“Yeah, but unlike all of them, you know it’s just a building,” I said. He gave me a funny look then.
“It’s just a building, but you know something actually happened,” he said. “I was talking to my dad about it, and he said maybe a homeless guy was living there, totally deranged, and maybe he cut out Alicia’s eye and kidnapped her.” He stated this was the seriousness of a news anchor recounting bits of total bullshit for the audience. I smiled at his grave expression, repressing an urge to laugh. He looked over at me disapprovingly. “It could have happened, you know. Homeless people are homeless because they’re crazy. My dad says so. Maybe one of them just went really crazy and started taking souvenirs off of people’s bodies.”
“I guess,” I said. We were most of the way through the old industrial part of town now. Shuttered factories and condemned buildings stretched out on both sides of the street. A fat, limping raccoon walked lazily out of a nearby alleyway. He gave us a sideways glance, stopping for a moment, then kept on maneuvering his round frame forward. Something that Matt had said had given me pause.
“You know,” I said, “it’s kinda weird that we don’t have homeless people out here. We have all these empty buildings, yet most of them camp out on the sidewalks on Main Street. I’ve never seen a single homeless person sleeping in one of these buildings, and I’ve never seen one even close to the Leatherman building. It’s like they have some sort of sixth sense to avoid the place.”
“Clearly they’re smarter than you and me,” Matt muttered. We were walking past the rusty metal chain link fence around the property. He looked pale and his eyes were wide. “Are you sure you want to do this?” Right then, my instincts screamed at me to run.
“Yes,” I said simply, walking in first, taking the flashlight out of my pocket. “I need to know. For sure. Either way, I’d like evidence. Either it is my imagination, or something supernatural actually exists within and around this building.” An old, musty smell permeated the huge hallway. I looked up and down it, wondering what was missing. Then I realized- it had no graffiti. It had to be the only abandoned building I’d ever been in without tons of graffiti scrawled on the inside.
In some places, the walls had begun to buckle, and whole sections were crumbling and coming down. Farther ahead, the ceiling had collapsed inwards, blocking half of the main hallway off. Downstairs, lights started turning on, and the entire building started to come to life. I looked at Matt, who was looking dazed.
“Bro, what the hell is that?” he asked. I had no idea.
“Someone’s in here with us,” I said. “Let’s go check it out.” He looked at me like I was insane.
“Are you mad? What if it’s cops? What if it’s tweakers pulling out all the metal?”
“We’ll be quiet, and just peek around the corner,” I said. “I think we’re meant to see this. Don’t you want to know what’s going on here?” He scowled.
“I’d much rather get home alive,” he said, but he followed me reluctantly. There was a rhythmic hum coming from the floors now, as if machinery were coming to life. A sign, dirty and covered in spiderwebs, pointed to a staircase on the right. I looked down it, seeing bright light flood into the stairwell corridor, despite the fact that there was no electricity running to this building. We started down the staircase to the basement level. There was a smell of ozone in the air, a cyclical rhythmic humming that popped and buzzed. I took a deep breath, wondering what I would see down here. Then I poked my head around the corner.
There were conveyor belts stretching against the basement, their legs embedded into the cracked concrete floors. Beams and pillars ran up from the floor to the ceiling every ten feet or so. And it looked like there were countless workers just sitting on each side of the conveyor belts, sitting in crooked wooden chairs with splintering legs and backs. But it was the workers who caught my attention most of all. They looked… strange.
“Does something look off to you?” I whispered to Matt, who had been standing behind me only a moment earlier. But I got no reply. I figured he was too engrossed in the bizarre nature of what we were seeing to respond.
The workers, if that’s what they were, looked blurred, as if in an overexposed picture with a long shutter speed. Their skin appeared to writhe and crackle, some of their heads constantly turned from side to side, and their limbs… all of them appeared to be missing limbs. I saw pale, white bodies without arms, without legs, even without heads, but they all still continued working in unison, moving in that jerky, blurred way.
“Jesus, Matt, do you see?” I asked suddenly, my eyes widening. “Do you see what they’re doing?” I looked forward in horror as I saw human bodies rolled down the conveyor belts. The people were still alive. They were naked, many of them crying and covered in blood. As they passed by the workers, the blurred hands quickly took pieces of their skin off. Glistening sheets of it were raised by other workers walking along between the lines, and they would give an admiring look at the large pieces of skin, smiling eerily as their heads writhed from side to side and blurred in my vision.
And I saw the kids from my dream, the kids from the missing persons posters, all in the corner. They were huddled, emaciated, with wide, staring eyes. They trembled and cowered as some of the workers came over to grab them and throw them on the belts.
I turned to get the hell out of there, and that was when I realized Matt was no longer behind me. I caught a glimpse of something dark and massive moving at the top of the stairs, disappearing around the corner. I was alone. I know I should have stayed and looked for Matt, but instead, I ran. I got out of that place and went home and hid under my blankets.
I thought 13 was old enough to deal with this, but it has gone way beyond what I thought.

Matt’s parents are calling. My parents stand at the bottom of the stairs, my mother holding the landline in her thin hand, my father looking disturbed. They tell me that Matt is missing, that he never came home last night. What should I tell them? Certainly not the truth. If I started talking about the things in that building, I would be forced into a psychiatric ward before the week was up.
The police stopped by and asked me a few questions. I told them all straight-up lies. “No sir, I haven’t seen him, and I have no idea what happened to him.” But what else could I say? That he was taken by something from a nightmare?
I have to go back. I have to try to rescue Matt. I shouldn’t have ran like I did, but seeing those things cutting up people like that… it scared the shit out of me. Tonight, once my parents go to sleep, I’m going to sneak out, and everyone will think I’m a hero if I bring him back. If I don’t, I’ll probably end up as just another stupid missing kid who ended up way over his head.

I went back. I made it out, but I think they’re coming for me. There was something in the basement.
All of the conveyor belts were gone, the lights were off, the rhythmic hum had disappeared. It was as if the other night was all a hallucination- except for, of course, Matt is still missing. His parents are freaking out, and I can’t even tell them I know what happened to him, kinda.
Going into the building alone was terrifying. My legs felt like wood, and I kept glancing behind me every second as if I were hearing imaginary pursuers. But I walked through to the staircase, and I saw nothing.
I went down to the basement, peeking my head around the corner. It was just a mostly empty basement, some broken furniture and old boxes stacked in one corner. I shone my light all over and saw no one. But there was a light coming from the far corner, a faint, glowing, orange light. A feeling of dread came over me.
I crept slowly forward, trying to find the source of that light. A faint smell of smoke and roasting meat seemed to creep through the air. Off past the last line of boxes, I saw what looked like a small crater on the floor. There was a hole there with glowing fire underneath. Cracks spiderwebbed out from it in all directions for a few feet. More curious than afraid now, I peered forward and looked down.
Beneath the abandoned building, there was another world. It had fire licking the walls and ground, and in the middle of this inferno, I saw Matt. His face was a map of blackish-purple bruises, his head was cocked at an unnatural angle, and I saw blood pouring out of his ears and nose. He looked up at me, and the bones in his neck grated together. I saw his spine was broken and his entire throat was crushed inwards.
“Help me,” he croaked. “You brought me here, now help me. You can’t leave me. They’ll come for you next…” All around him, I saw hands reaching up- the pale, jerky hands of those strange workers. They grabbed Matt and dragged him back down to the fire. I saw other horrid creatures in the flames, some laughing and insane, others shrieking in agony. Large, black insectile silhouettes moved through the smoke and flames. And then, like one, they started coming up towards the hole, coming up to the building where they would be free.
I ran then, and I never went back. I know now that Matt is dead. I can’t sleep. Every time I look out the window, I see shapes in the front yard- blurred humanoids with missing limbs, hiding in the bushes and trees, and constantly inching closer.

I just want to share for 6 years I have not talk to my JHS classmates and teachers, back then in JHS isa ako sa mga weakest link sa klase yung tipong pag-tinanong mo sila what do they think of ang isasagot nila is either mabait daw ako or ayos lang, pero buti sana hindi nila ako pinapahiya kasi kapag may mga tasks noon like may mga reporting ako lagi yung may maikling part kasi nga ako nga yung weakest link, and hindi lang mga classmates ko kahit mga teachers ko noon lagi nilang pinaparamdam sa akin na akong yung pinaka-mahina sa klase, well after 2 years I left that school and transfer to andifferent school for SHS, during my time in SHS mas naging ok yung environment, mas na feel ko yug camaraderie ng mga classmates ko and from there unting-unti nabuo yung confidence ko na to realize na hindi naman pala ako weakest link, I was just surrounded by people na holding me back so after graduating With Honors in SHS it was time for college.
So nung I was to enroll in college, I said to my mom na I will be taking Electrical Engineering, she was against it at first kasi she remembers how much I struggle during my JHS years pero sabi ko if bumagsak ako sa Differential Calculus, magshishift ako ng course but luckily I passed my Differential Calculus and from then on after a few years I was able to graduate on time, so a few weeks after ng graduation I started my review for the licensure exam for REE medyo kabado ang batch namin since nung 2021 mababa ang naging passing rate ng school namin so malaki ang pressure na mataas ang passing rate namin so months of reviewing dumating din ang araw ng licensure exam and to be honest mahirap yung isang part ng board exam and dahil dun naging anxious ako sa magiging resulta so after a few days lumabas na ang results and finally pumasa ako sa REE licensure exam at naging isang ganap na Engr. , so of course tuwang-tuwa ang family ko and friends so a few days after ng release ng results I remembered yung JHS ko, kasi after I transfer to a different school for SHS I unfriended all of them, so after passing my licensure exam naisipan ko na to add some of my demeaning teachers and classmates na nang-maliit sa kakayahan ko noon, yung ibang teachers congratulated me pero I can imagine yung mukha na nila na tameme kasi I just proved them wrong na yung batang inaakala na nila na mahina ay isang ng Engr., kahit yung mga classmates ko na mapag-mataas naungusan ko na sila, not to be mayabang pero kasi some of them sobrang mapag-mataas nung JHS na iniisip nila sila lang ang magaling so heto ngayon yung dating mahina at tingin niyo na bobo ay isang ng Engr., kaya I realize na wag tayong mang-mamaliit ng kapwa kasi hindi natin masasabi ang panahon.

A few days ago I bought my first car - a Mk5 VW Golf 5 1.9 TDI 90hp. It's on 207k km/128k miles, built 2007. The car was pretty expensive so I thought I'd get away with just general maintenance and etc; but as it turns out, the EGR has been freaking out, even though I got it serviced and fixed (new intercooler pipe, apparently). I got the error cleared by a mechanic who told me to go force the car on the highway incase the pipes were blocked. Bought a brand new battery because that was also damaged and missing brackets... The car alarm has a seperate battery and is the loudest and most annoying thing ever, drawing like 2 Amps... The left wing indicator was replaced and thankfully works, altough there is an error. Also the seatbelt sensor on the driver's seat is freaking out, even though the seatbelt works, so I bought a VCDS so I could disable it. Seeing the big line of red error text is pretty depressing and painful.
Could all these errors be linked to the same thing? Are these maybe just because my car's computer is old and can't support certain scans? How can some of these be fixed? (ex. replacing the locking module, getting it fixed?)
This all really sucks and I don't know what to do...

I’m looking for a subtenant/subletter for a one bedroom in Allston for June through august for a casual sublet. (June would be prorated of course)
Move in ASAP is preferred, but july 1st move in is also ok.
For June/July/august it’s $1750 per month, $70 WiFi/month, and usually $90-120/month for electric in summer when the two ac units are running (which can be taken out if desired).
It’s steps from a 24/7 7/11 + dunkin, right by twin donuts in Allston. About a 10 minute walk to the Allston street stop on the Boston college green line.
It’s a 1bed 1bath (better than a studio!), east facing, Street-facing, on the second floor. Windows in every room but the entry way. Split/separated living room with a bay window. It comes furnished with a queen bed and frame, two desks, living room table, lil kitchen table, chairs, a fold down couch, and two computer monitors. There are plates, pots, pans, spices, silverware already stocked it is very much move in ready.
As the apartment is being shown, subtenant needs to vacate for about an hour if LL schedules a showing, but I will give notice. utilities are paid through me, but I can provide you with copies of your bill.
the subtenant would have to put down a $500 deposit. It would be subtenants responsibility to remove furniture from unit by 8/31 and to yknow not damage the place in order to get the deposit returned. I would remotely try to help by lining up Facebook marketplace buyers who could come pick up some items.
There might be an opportunity to resign for 9/1 but this would cost more up front and it is not a guarantee as the apt is already being shown.
Also I very much believe in being a good person and I want a tenant who will be kind and respectful as we will be interacting and my stuff is in the place.

Hey guys. Here is a continuation of what I was writing. Sorry for the formatting, just typing it out in my notes and copy and pasting here.
Our story begins with our friend Jackie Chan and soon to be an unknowingly hero of the people as he journeys through a Bavarian jungle towing with him a group of people, a scholar and exhibitionists who would seek out a treasure to gain fame and attention from the world, either in academia or media attention, to announce to the world and peers that they broke through the many traps that the castle says to contain. Trudging through this weary jungle comes along the castle they seek, our friend Jackie, a lean individual, unassuming and gentle hearted who is deceptively athletic and studies and practices martial arts, continues his journey into the castle. "The mad king Ludwig would invite many guest into the castle but would fall victim to many of its deadly traps" says the scholar "Rude..." an exhibitionist joins in saying. "That's why his name was not Lovable Ludwig or good neighbor of Bavaria - Huh, stand back..." says Jackie. Jackie stops dead in his tracks with his group to follow, well enough light pours into the castle that would lead unbeknownst treasure seekers to rummage the castle recklessly to fall victim to its many traps, with nothing a stir and everything quiet, Jackie finds this to be too eerie and finds in their way a wire, though invisible to those who enter the castle, not invisible to Jackie as his fine tuned senses crafted by his self-discipline and with a sensible sharp mind are at work, lowers himself with aerosol can in hand and makes visible the invisible wire. "What are the odds that these traps still-..." remarks one of the men. Jackie motions over to the exhibitionist and grabbed his hat to drop on the wire, suddenly two walls collide into each other this time only in succeeding in killing a hat. Loud clicking noises and rumblings of the walls suggest that the mechanism for the trap is resetting and moments later the two walls come apart leaving the invisible wire intact waiting for its next victim. The exhibitionist stares in disbelief by the sudden closing and opening wall of death and has his jaw left gaped opened by his astonishment that he nearly just died was closed by Jackie and motions forward leaving an air of unspoken reason that following Jackie's lead may keep them alive. Following hallways left and right leading to a room with pictographs and decorations of stone statues, against the far wall has a human skull that Jackie handles to find a handle that releases the door. Looks of triumph that he beat the castles traps and looks of shock and excitement on the group, Jackie has found the treasure room. As the door rises revealing the treasure room, light pours into the room and Jackie leads forward to light torches along the wall and once was a dimly lit room is now glowing brilliantly with gold, gold coins, golden assortments from goblets to swords, gems and expensive stones covering the floor and piled high. "Ludwig's lost treasure..." remarks the scholar. "I'm sure that the booty is booby-trapped so don't-...." begins Jackie to everyone. With blind enthusiasm, the would be still alive exhibitionist runs towards the treasure picking up a golden sword hilted in rubies, sapphires and emeralds, then the room and door begin to convulse violently, another trap! As quickly as the room begins to rumble and the door jerks downward threatening to close them inside, Jackie kicks up a spear into the air and with a spin through the air, kicks it toward the closing door jamming it open as Jackie shouts "Go! Go! Go!". Motioning everyone out, everyone in a panic stricken run, all begin towards the door until Jackie finds himself running into the door when the spear snaps finding himself alone as the group escaped. Moments later an arrow shoots across Jackie's face and launches himself backwards as arrows after arrows begin ejecting themselves from the walls that would kill any person or persons who gets this far; yelping out the words "bad day! bad day! bad day!" Staggering backwards and leaping into the air, above these arrows, ducking more, spinning mid jump over treasures, in a leap lands over a golden shield emblazoned with some chicken scratch, begins to deflect arrows left and right cornering Jackie. Jackie in danger of never being seen again, looks up, a hole in the wall, Jackie wall jumps into a sliding tunnel and in a panic places the shield under himself to ride the shield down the trail and finally bursting out of the castle and within view the group is spotted to have also exited the castle, with Jackie landing and coming to a stop on the shield sliding on the ground, "Snowboarding works better with snow" says Jackie, relieved for everyone to have made it out alive. From a distance, strange men observing Jackie with binoculars, the seemingly men to appear to be the leaders issuing an order to their men. "Follow him..." "Follow him..."
Jackie returns from his trip to Bavaria to his home in San Francisco. Jackie resides in his uncle's two story antique shop, "Uncle's Rare Finds". In his room we carry on as Jackie blow by blow, ebbs and flows, as he strikes a dummy. In his studio room for his training displays a number of photographs, taken at events or jobs he was hired on to take people on exhibitions, there in all his photographs is a man who never has trouble finding his smile in all of them either as a leader or competitor. Jackie with another day of training in, is summoned by his uncle with the clattering of a bell. Jackie's uncle is a fairly old man, in his signature bright yellow vest, glasses, gray standing hair and his garlic and mung bean smell, that originates by his consumption of garlic and mung beans that he always believes is good for you. From the second story calls out to his uncle, "What is it Uncle?". "Come, give Uncle a hug", Jackie jumps over the railing and effortlessly twist in mid air to land and give uncle a hug, SMACK, Jackie was just struck over the head by Uncle's strong fingers that he uses to scold. "Ow!" Jackie yelps. "You did not make coffee this morning, coffee is the only thing keeping Uncle's ancient heart beating, you want dead uncle? No? Then you make coffee" "Ok" replies Jackie "One more thing" uncle begins again, "You received phone call from the University, they want you to translate parchments" "Ok" replies Jackie "One more thing" Uncle continues before Jackie begins his work, Uncle examines the newly brought in golden shield, talking out loud with his thoughts of the ancient chicken scratch on the shield with an odd encrusted pewter center with a rooster emblazoned on it, "I cannot translate inscriptions, very old writing, I must reference my journals." "Ok" replies Jackie "One more thing" Uncle continues "This is Jade, your niece, she will live with you for a year? Ok?" Jackie with no second thought on his list of instructions from Uncle, "ok" Taken back, Jackie exclaims "I have a niece?" Now discovering the child in plain view by the entrance as she wears a scowl under her black hair that spikes downwards with her arms folded. Uncle explains, "Your cousin Shin's girl from Hong Kong, Jade is not behaving well there, doing poorly in school, your cousin thinks she will do better with you" "Nobody asked me" exclaims Jackie. "Did not want to bother you" Uncle coolly states, then sends Jackie to tackle his new instructions. Jackie nervously chuckles, "Hello, I am Jackie". Jade, stiff as a statue, continues her scowling and looks with contempt for being in this dibilated antique shop. "No English?" Jackie tries another greeting, "Ne Ho Ma-...." Three men enters the shop. Jackie welcomes the new customers and begins exercising his retail sales abilities, as Jackie also helps Uncle in his Rare Finds shop as a salesman. "You're Jackie Chan, the archeologist?" Asks one of the three men. "Oh, I dabble in the study of past civilizations" replies Jackie. "Well, we are aware that you recently dabbled a shield from a Bavarian Castle, our extremely wealthy employer is interested in purchasing the shield"
Jackie seeing this is not the regular customer Uncle's Rare Finds usually receives, wearing a 70's style white suit, all red blazing combed back slick hair and seems to be having trouble clearing his sinuses and seems a bit on edge. His two companions, just as unremarkable and out of the ordinary among usual customers, one quite tall and burly, sporting a wrinkled black jacket, red tie and white shirt with dress shoes that could do with some polishing, Jackie faintly smells alcohol from where he stood and the other, short but stands tall with his bright orange sunglasses and leather coat suggest he may kick you up side along the head at the wrong moment.
Jackie with great suspicions, "I'm sorry, I have already donated that piece to the university" "Really...?" The man in red and white nods to the others behind him to send a small message, pokes out his wild swinging hand and pokes out a finger to drive an antique to the floor but unable to shoot straight misses with a hurried "whoops", tries again, sending two antiques rolling to the floor! Jackie thoroughly shocked, dives across the floor coming to a roll right under the falling antiques and catches them on his back - the shorter of the men with a smirk on his face sends flying an antique, but in a flash Jackie sends off a cushion from a nearby seat, throwing the two in hand and with a bounce with the cushion, Jackie runs forward to catch all three antiques in a snap, antiques in hand, puts them down safely and takes a seat with a smile. Looks of horror and awestruck coves over the three, as well as Jade, whose left speechless of his Uncle's ability, just stood standing in place. "It would be in your family's best interest to undonate the shield, Mr. Chan... places hand over Jades head by this time tomorrow", the three exit without another word. Uncle walks in "did they buy anything?" "No" Jackie answers "You are a terrible salesman!" "Watch the girl and hide the shield" Jackie instructs. "Where am I going to hide a big shield? sputters on where did I put the shield?" Uncle continues on as Jackie exited to follow the men and unknown to Uncle, so did Jade.
Jackie exiting Uncle's Rare Finds finding the vehicle leaving, quick and light on his feet, leaps for the fire escape of the building, leaping gracefully and the mastery of his body to do so, clambers onto balconies and shop signs onto a roof catching up to the vehicle. Running along side the vehicle, Jackie peers in, the man in red and white is hunched over and takes a great deep inhale, crushed powder in forms of lines on a plate is visible to Jackie. The wrinkled out suit man is also clambering with something in hand, Jackie is catching up as the vehicle comes to a stop, running to the ledge, down gutter pipes, SNAP, the pipes snatch free from the wall sending Jackie down BANG. Wrinkled out suit man chokes on the contents of his flask and sputters, finding his breath and the man in red and white being seen hiding his plate and all three wordless, Jackie continues innocently, "That will buff right out" pointing at the ding he has caused as if it's the only problem there. Angry, the gas petal is floored with Jackie and gutter still on top, coming onto and off side walks sending people wildly running in all directions to come to a sudden stop at a fenced playground. The three exit to introduce themselves more physically to Jackie, launches themselves at him. Jackie pulls back from attack, dishes one of his own with the gutter sending them away, Jackie jumps and rolls into the sunroof of the window, the men, SLAMMED by the doors that Jackie kicks open, ejects himself from the vehicle, musters up his strength and leaps over the fench, rolls to a stop, sitting upright begins to mock the men, "Nya Nya!" The three men remain to be unknown to Jackie, had not even realized they were watching him in Bavaria nor did he know that they're extremely wealthy employer has equipped them with military grade electric rods, these men were The Enforcers. The Enforcers leap forward with their electrified rods, melting the fence and sending Jackie backwards. As agile Jackie is, he swerves, ducks, rotates and spins, comes to a semi truck and takes the windshield wipers with him, coming to a landing with a flourish of the wipers in a stance that says I'm ready. With a chuckle of the Enforcers, Tap! Tap! Jackie has struck two over the hands, disarming them and kicked another away. Running off to the still occupied playground, Jackie yells out "No more playtime, Go! Go!". Children running and the enforcers come around, on the right slow going, Jackie kicks a tether ball right around to the man in the wrinkled out suit face and almost lazily falls over. Jackie looks up and finds another lunging from a nearby jungle gym, Jackie kicks and with a loud CRACK, finding a broken nose "that's where I put my drugs!". The third, short yet strong, comes to spare with Jackie, jabbing in and out, showing signs that he learned martial arts is swept backwards onto a rocking horse and sits down dazed and defeated. Hello, 2 moths ago I started to feel a pressure from the bottom of the nose to the chin, right side, same line that face creates when you smile. Some days later the right side check and half lips went numb and slightly electric feeling. Some days later burning paresthesia came, always right side of chin and down lip, I felt like I was accumulating saliva on the corner of my right lip. Days later, I started to notice little burning spots on the left side of the chin as well. At the end my entire jaw is now having burning paresthesia, especially in the full chin. These burning feelings gets worst if I touch (dysesthesia). I did a CT cone beam of jaw and mandible, nothing came out. Blood tests ok. I am in panic because I read about the numb chin syndrome on google. Some days ago I noticed that my last tooth on the right upper side was broken in half, since months. but no pain. I started to touch that side with my tongue and half tooth feel. But still no pain on the outside, just some flash pain from the inside sometimes. Dentist said this tooth needs to be devitalized.
