That brings me to why I'm giving this subreddit a try. For a long time I was never really been interested in dating but I'm realizing the joys are probably worth the potential pains. That being said, it is completely understandable how LOLTYLER1 - also know as T1, BIG TONKA T, or TT - got through EUW with such yawning ease cruising at 200 LP masters right now, which is supposed to be when the "EU Talent" start to shine.
Watching his streams everyone seems to speak perfect English which makes since because English is THE BEST LANGUAGE and even if they don't speak English they know the insults, which is a given for any language let's be honest. However, the insults are kinda dull and they can only default to calling him short (which has been disproven multiple times) and bald (which they are coping because they can't grow a handsome head of hair and a girthy beard like his).
After dissing EUW for about a week now, more and more players are inting his games cuz they never wanna see a brotha succeed. Barely a week into the challenge, he already had players right-click enemy nexus all game TWICE, with a syndra and a yi both solely having about 50 DEATHS in a single game. Now, in "Master tier elo," players are soft inting him by pretending to have no macro, refusing to play correctly (like just auto), or doing something stupid like locking in champs for the first time in ranked... but from the looks of their match history, they probably aren't pretending.
My question pretty much comes down to: is this really a fair challenge? I mean the way he constantly has to edge out a win by carrying nearly ever game he pours his heart into and the fact that half of the server is queueing up to make sure he won't hit challenger? To any other League streamer, it would be a death wish to degrade your competition the moment you go into their turf, but for T1, this is just another Monday.
LOLTYLER1 is a 5 role challenger player on NA, ALL ON STREAM. He is THE FACE of League of Legends. It was a no brainer that Tyler1 of all players would DOMINATE THE RIFT the moment he dropped in EUW, hitting nearly 300 lp in damn near a week. People who sleep on T1 are complete fools, as they wish they can fathom his vast ocean of knowledge for this game. T1's champion pool is barely near meta (according to u.gg/lol/tier-list as of 13.6), but the greatest of all time knows his limits, and he knows when he can break them.

Maybe it's because it is Lucifer's sense of humour and it triggers his other "sense of humour" like hallucination with Sam and that disturbing moment with Crowley and I just can't laugh

What is the word where everytime a character opens their mouth or shows up on screen it triggers a memory of something else they did, even though it might be unrelated to what they said in the present moment that makes you feel bad about the character being on the screen? For me I feel genuinely disturbed whenever Crowley is in the same room as Lucifer. Yup even when Lucifer was trapped in chains like my heart is screaming Crowley run! Don't let your trauma be your downfall
I get it though. Trauma of the nature Lucifer gave Crowley especially for someone with Crowley's childhood meant Crowley was thinking emotionally and so my opinion of Crowley never diminished. In real life many who went through such a thing would be understandably traumatized from the experience
8x23 is also evidence that when Crowley gets desperate he gets careless. Any kind of negative emotion from anger to fear is a huge weak spot for him. Like in 8x23 his rush to hurry up and get the demon tablet from Dean and Sam because of his fear meant he forgot to have leverage in case of emergency, such as get his demons ready to kill Jody if Dean and Sam tried anything that isn't part of the deal. With extra failsafes like voice only, non descript location to account for Castiel's teleportation ability
Season 5 Crowley was less scared. Yes he yelled about how such and such ate his tailor. But his over dramatization of his life being in danger meant Crowley still had his sense of humour in tact. He's dramatized it so much that he doesn't really take it seriously and that's why in season 5 he is more clearheaded

So if you look online, from Youtube to TikTok, you'll see people talking about "zombie chords". Basically when people say that songs are boring because it's just G, C, D, Em, and basic chords. I think it stemmed from one video, but then spread around as a weird mentality over the past few years.
I've seen people say that these chords "topped out" in the 60s with people like The Beatles and the folk scene. These very, very essential and universal tools to all of songwriting.
And these videos have the same remedy: Use maj7 chords and more exotic chords.
I think this is where things get weird. Because they never really say "Add in a maj7 or a more unusual chord to make an interesting dynamic". Because that's great advice. It's more the ones that suggest using a majority of more elaborate chords for your works in general.
I've noticed a lot of music with more elaborate chords the past couple of years, and I wonder if this is part of that mentality. But I feel like it's a very flawed way of looking at music in general.
You can use two very basic chords and make great songs. I mean take 505 by Arctic Monkeys. That's just two chords over and over, with repeating and changing things going around them.
And I mean you can do plenty with just a 5th and an octave. Power chords have worked wonders for plenty of people, last time I checked.
I'm all for throwing in a curveball, of course. Plenty of artists do that to make a good idea into a great idea. But the notion of these chords being "zombie" chords, some walking dead zombie chords, is pretty ridiculous. There's a similar issue with those "chord packs" that get plenty of ridicule as well. They kind of work with a similar premise that these are the real, professional chords.
To anyone in here making music, use those basic chords! Don't shy away from them. Use the A, D, Bm, and have a blast making great distinct music. Don't let some youtube tutorials and theory essay videos tell you otherwise. Your songs won't sound boring if you can offer something interesting to lay on top of them.

They have right to life as no third party is allowed to kill. If a random person stabs a pregnant woman and ends up killing the ZEF, that person will still be charged for murder.
What PL don't realise is that having the right to life dosen't include right to use another person's body just like any born person. Everyone has right to life but not at the expense of your bodily autonomy. If the pregnant woman aborts, it's only self defence. If any born person attaches to your body and sucks on your nutrition and causes you many health problems that could even last for life, you do have the right to kill them for it.
Death dosen't have to be a threat for self defence even for severe harm it can be considered self defence. A ZEF attaches to the body of the woman and sucks out her nutrition and causes many health problems and rips her genitals out. If a born person did this, killing them is only self defence.

Of course, while I'm writing this, War's "Why Can't We Be Friends?" is stuck in my head - which should give some indication where I'm going with this.
Din has always been uniquely poised to be one of the crucial factors in convincing all Mandalorians to reunite with a common goal, and his adherence to his personal beliefs and desire to rejoin the Tribe while still being tolerant of others may be the key to bringing the (Children of) the Watch back from their generations-long exile.
From as early on as season 1, Din was established as the kind of guy who approaches everyone - including those of differing beliefs - with a "you do you" attitude. As long as you're not attacking him, you're just fine in Din's book. (Even bounties are guaranteed being taken in alive if they don't fight back - the bounty part is just business.)
Come season 2, Din encounters not only people of widely different cultures and backgrounds such as he has had dealings with for years, but also people who claim to be Mandalorian yet have different beliefs. Not only does he eventually accept them as fellow Mandalorians (after an initial period of shock), he aids them in several missions.
His acceptance of others hasn't changed. In season 3, his goal is to reunite with his Tribe yet he still goes to Bo Katan with the initial offer of joining her in retaking Mandalore. He primarily wanted to get to the Living Waters, true, but he was still willing to fight alongside her in return.
I still hope Din eventually decides for himself that he can remove his helmet and still follow the Creed, but I also hope the show doesn't make the Children of the Watch members who still believe in the helmet rule suddenly have to conform to an expectation of removing their helmet in order to be accepted as part of Mandalorian society again. I think both those who are part of the Watch and those who are not will have to learn to work together and accept each other without slinging insults/labels of "cult" or "apostate," or either group expecting the other to conform to their way.
After decades (if not centuries) of Mandalorians fighting each other, which is what led to Mandalore being ripped apart even before the Empire took over, the people NEED someone like Din, who is part of an "other" group while still being tolerant and accepting of others, to emerge in some kind of leadership capacity - even if only to set an example for Bo Katan.
Looking forward to seeing where this storyline goes!

I started thinking about this while working on what stats some of my enemies might have, and haven't been able to find much online about this particular question. Many games give enemies armor, many games don't, but a lot of the time its not particularly obvious that they have any form of armor or damage mitigation, or it is so ineffective that it mine as well not be there.
For my game in particular, the player can see their damage numbers when they hit the enemy, but cannot see the enemies max hp or remaining hp. So players would instantly have feedback if the enemy has high defense, or is simply a much higher level than they can currently handle. The power level feedback would be of great use to the player, however if overused, an enemy that is weak but has extraordinarily high defense might be ignored and seen as 'too strong' after only being attacked once or twice. This is one particular trope with armor that I enjoy, so I would need another way to display this but have no idea on how I would. Or maybe its just not something that would be possible with an armor system in this context.
If I do add armor... how would I even choose how it should work? I see two main categories; Flat reduction (Ex: enemy has 10% DR) and Comparative Reduction (Reduction amount takes difference between damage and armor into account). The flat reduction is simple and used a fair bit, but comparative reduction can be interesting and would make more sense for an rpg-like game. However with my game, I plan to have different 'styles' of weapons, such as fast hitting low damage, and slow shooting high damage weapons. A comparative reduction could impact fast hitting weapons far more than slow hitting ones. On the surface it seems hard to keep a balance with that, especially when levels come into play. One of the big things I wanted in particular from comparative armor is stat gaps, for instance if you were to fight something high above your level, you might do low damage, or none at all, but if you were to fight something below your level, armor might barely be a consideration anymore. I'm personally thinking a mix of flat DR based on a stat, and comparative DR based on difference in stats, would be the most effective solution for this? So when armor and damage are around similar levels, comparative wouldn't matter as much/if at all and the flat DR would be the most important, but when a stat gap comes into play, comparative could override the flat DR.
What is the difference between just adding more hp instead of adding defense to an enemy? For instance instead of an enemy having a 50% DR, they could just have 2x the amount of hp for the same difficulty. The player would also get the bonus satisfaction of dealing '2x' aka normal damage, instead of getting their damage numbers cut in half. Base max HP would be easier to scale with levels than scaling both max HP and armor. I could just apply the comparative DR separately based on general levels or stat values. That could be more complicated on its own though, so I don't know if that would even save any effort on my part. The more important part is what the player feels in response to having their damage reduced though.
I know I've 'answered' a lot of my own questions here (why I'm marking this as discussion), but I am curious on what other peoples opinions are on this, and if there is anything I've missed. I'm also aware this is highly targeted towards my own game, but I am also curious what what people think about enemies having armor in their own games, or games that they play.
