I (24f) and my boyfriend (27m) are super in love and happy with each other. He’s pretty confident about himself and has his life and career sorted out while I’m overall less mature and wise as him and my life is kind of messy.
He’s recently gotten in a habit of telling me to “relax” whenever I get even the slighted but worked up about something. For instance, we went out to dinner the other night to a nicer, more high scale restaurant. The food was amazing but two dishes came out way over salted and burnt making them unenjoyable to eat. When the waiter came over to ask if everything was yummy, I began to point it out to boom…”relax”.
I found it incredibly patronizing, like he’s speaking down to me and gaslighting me. I know i feel this way partially because he’s older and in a better place in life but I lost my shit at dinner. I pretty much ignored him for the rest of the night after I explained to him why it’s gaslighting and disrespectful until we got home.
The next morning, I’m riding his dck and he’s getting close to cmming and again!! He wants me to slow down my p*ssy’s magic and tells me to “Relax”, fully knowing I got so upset with him last night for telling me to relax. It really rubbed me the wrong as insensitive which I told him and made him bust faster than a teenager.
Later, we were watching StarWars VII and Chewbacca comes on screen and I ask if he thinks Chewbacca is fuckable thinking it’ll make him laugh. He hits me with the good ol’ “relax” which makes me, again, feel bad and pretty empty inside. He defends himself saying it’s a wild question to ask but I really don’t think it is—Chewbacca is tall, athletic, and mysterious. I think he likes disregarding me and it makes me feel concerned for our future together.
TLDR: He’s upset about me being upset with him for telling me to relax all the time and I’m giving him the cold shoulder for it. ANTI?

It was one of those brief moments when I was on my own. Just after I separated from my working herd but before I joined my familial herd. I bought some nice fruit salad from a place down the street. As I made my way to my way to the plaza I saw that musical duet was performing there. The duo was made up of a venlil and a Krakotl. And they were performing a popular pop song by some band, ‘I love you like the Herd’ by ‘The Sneeples’ I think? To be honest I wasn't too familiar with the current trends in music, I've always listened to what my mother listened to. Never gave it much thought really. I noticed how many people had stopped to listen to them play.
I want people to see me like that! It would be so cool! To be a star, to guide the herd instead of just following it? Wouldn’t that be spectacular? Or even impress Vemly…
I figure I should find a seat, realizing there isn’t any room in the plaza itself. I have to search Elsewhere.
I look round the corner to see… a human! I have never seen one in person before but here? the closest shelter is a city over. And they seem to be alone. Which seems unusual. They don't seem to notice me so that's good. My curiosity getting the better of me, I made my way to a seat where I could watch the predator without being noticed.
The human was holding their head in their hands, their gaze presumably cast down toward the concrete tiles of the plaza though I had no way to be sure thanks to the glossy black mask that covered their face. They didn't seem to be moving aside from one of their legs bouncing seemingly in time with the music.
My meal was almost finished when suddenly the predator rose from their seat and started walking towards the buskers. At their full height, they were quite tall, but maybe my shorter-than-average stature was to blame.
Their approach caused the gathered crowd to scatter most people. those that remained kept their distance. When the human arrived at the buskers' setup the krakotl singer faltered and forgot the lyrics. The human tilted their head at this and seemed to study them for a moment before pulling out their pad and touching it to the tip receiver before turning to leave.
If a predator can appreciate our music they can’t possibly be so bad right?
Someone must have called the exterminators because exterminator officer Ezin and two other officers arrived on the scene.
The exterminators showed up almost too quickly. usually, they’re really slow, like that time when-
The exterminators raised their flamethrowers toward the human
“Predator! You’re coming with me” Ezin yelled at the human.
The human raised their hands and was quickly restrained by the two officers, with the head exterminator turning to the crowd.
Ezin addressed the crowd
“Civilians! Thanks to my hard work the predator has been restrained and you are safe once more!”
It doesn't seem like the predator didn't do anything wrong… why are they being taken away?
My need to find out what is going on overriding all my better judgment I decided to follow the exterminators to the Deep Lake office.
But first I’m finishing my fruit salad.

I arrived at the exterminator's office and headed up to the front desk. There was a snowy white venlil at the counter.
“You here about the recent incident?” she droned, without even taking her eyes off her pad.
There has been an incident?
“No I'm just here about the human from the plaza” I responded
“Just saying yes would've wasted much less of my time sir” the venlil responded, only now seeming to have found the time to look up from her pad.
“Just wait here and someone will be with you in a moment” She pointed to the seats set up at the side of the room. They were all empty.
even I couldn’t find any more reason to talk to this person so I sat down at the end.
These chairs really aren't very comfortable… no matter, ill be through in a jiffy.
Maybe I’ll have a look at these pamphlets to pass some time.
I reach over to the stand picking out the first one available,
‘What to do If a predator moves into your apartment?’
No thanks, I've had enough stress already.

I spun the stand around and spotted a hand-drawn-looking pamphlet. My curiosity piqued I opened it up.
‘Exterminator Ezin for emperor’
The Venlil don't even have a president. How can you get a role that doesn't exist? And I'm pretty sure you won't become emperor by winning an election.
Anyway, what time is it? I feel like I’ve been waiting for more than a claw, I should really be home by now.
“Anaw, come on up” It was the senior exterminator Koll. I have seen him a couple times on the local news giving important announcements. If you've ever seen a buff venlil, you haven’t. Not until you have seen Koll. It's been said that he once fought an entire squadron of armors, bare-paw, on his own, and won. After which he retired to live a more peaceful life on venlil prime. Though that’s hard to believe, When I saw him in person, standing in Infront of me? I could believe it.
Koll asked me to give a brief rundown of the whole incident, a request which I had no trouble complying with.
After a moment of contemplation koll spoke “Well, That does it then, the incident was clearly bogus and the human will be free to go.”
Koll gestured for me to follow him. We walked down the hall and then to the cell where the human was being held.
The predator looked up at Koll and then at me. Prompting Koll to start inputting the code on the cell, Koll broke the silence.
“Well predator, looks like a witness showed up and your stories match, you're free to go, get out of here.”
The senior exterminator left the room, leaving me with the predator… alone.
The predator rose to their full height. Turning their head right at me.
I've actually never met a human before. What do I do? Are they plotting to eat me? Maybe I should've read that pamphlet.
“Hey, thanks.” the predator spoke softly. Their voice was bassy and smooth, not nearly as loud as I expected.
I thought predators were supposed to growl or be aggressive! They probably don't want to scare me. I'm still really afraid though. Is that rude? Am I a bad person for being afraid?
They continued in their soft inflection.
“I don't think Sargent Fluff for brains would've let me out any time soon, so seriously, thanks for the help”
Sargent fluff for brains? Are they talking about Exterminator Ezin?
I finally mustered up the courage to speak to the human
“n-no p-problem h-human”
The human lifted one hand to their mask, presumably where their chin would be. This gave me a chance to get a good look at them. The flesh of their paw, which I think they call hands, was a smooth pinkish-white, each finger being topped by a wide flat claw that was pink almost to the tip of their finger. Where they became white. Their glossy black mask covered their face entirely but left the back of their head exposed. the human had wavy yellow fur that reached all the way to their shoulders. They were wearing a thick top garment in navy blue, it had sleeves that reached all way to their wrists and had a hood that the human wasn't currently using. Their bottom garment was the same color but seemed to be made out of a rougher material.
The human stuck out their hand In what I recognized to be a greeting gesture.
“I’m Colton by the way. It's nice to meet you”
I placed my paw in their hand and they shook it up and down very gently as if they were unsure about the action themselves.
“I- I’m Anaw” my voice quivered
“It's nice to meet you, Anaw, though I have some belongings I have to collect”
Colton began walking to the front desk of the building. Curiosity once again won out over my need for sleep and I followed the human as they approached the desk. The white venlil was still there, and still seemed to be distracted by their pad, doom-scrolling Bleat probably. The attendant looks up from their pad and looks completely uninterested in the predator staring down at her. She looks back down making a clear effort to ignore the human.
“Can I get my guitar back now?” Colton asked the attendant.
“Confiscated weapons will be kept as evidence.” the attendant droned.
“My guitar is not a weapon! It's a musical instrument. It's personal, I need it.” pleaded Colton.
This finally made the lady look up from her pad with curiosity. Apparently thrown off by the human's response.
The human wants an instrument back? That means that this human must be a musician!
At that moment Exterminator Ezin stepped out of his office, Now that he was out of uniform the full mass of his grey was on display. He wore a bandage around one of his paws. Seems like his shift was over and was on his way out.
How do you even pack so much wool into an exterminator uniform?
The Exterminator must have been listening in on the conversation because he smirked almost predatorily.
Ezin spoke “Predator if you can somehow prove that primitive club isn't a weapon,”
Venom laced his tone, “Then you can have it back.”
The exterminator raised his bandaged hand toward the human.
“But I doubt you'll be able to.” Ezin gloated with the confidence of someone who knew they were untouchable.
Colton didn't give the exterminator the chance to goad them further and made for the exit. Shoving their clenched fists into their pockets.
If the human is a musician, then they must know a lot about music! Vemly is really into human culture, if I could learn all about human music or even learn to play some then she would definitely be impressed!
I followed Colton out of the exterminator's office and steeled my nerves. I have to ask them if they could show me some human music! And then I can ask them to teach me? Before I could change my mind I yelled out.
“Colton! Wait!”
The human stopped.
“C-can you show me?.. Your Human music?”

Am not gonna lie I love Chris Grier the way he manages to rip teams off or select home run draft picks like Jalen Phlilps or Jevon holland. I love that he managed to get Jalen Ramsey for pocket money. My only crictism of him is that occasionally he over pays too much. For example Jaylen waddle he traded a extra first to go down 6 spots and while it was worth it I didn't think it warranted a 1st I think it warranted more of a 2nd. Also paying Bradley chubb a little too much money and picks to get him while people will say hes worth it I agree but hes being paid Tyreek hill money but I guess money spent is better than money vacant. Also Grier trading one 1st round pick to get him I know you might say but it was a late pick but the niners were 3-4 when we traded the pick meaning it would've been a top 12 pick as well as facing a challenging schedule ahead of them I think he could've squeezed a 3rd or 2nd rounder out of them. Other than that I love Chris and LET HIM COOK.
P.s. I noticed that almost every o lineman that Grier chooses is always a bust and I think Grier recognized this and didn't draft a lineman till the 7th round. I think he rather get a good oline in free agency

- He lied about his age and made himself 5 years younger ( from 47 to 42).
- Lied about his marital status (He’s still married).
- Lied about at what age he got married. Said he married at 22 and his ex wife was 18. They were 28 and 32 instead and are still married.
- Gave me a fake home town that is close to the town my father and his family is actually from.
- Lied about his family’s trade and pretended to be from a nomad family. His father owned a clothing shop and my grandfather was a business tax collector for the city council and used to collect taxes from his father’s shop.
- Lied about being financially well off and able to retire whenever he wants. He’s a professional working a 9 to 5, supporting a family of 5 and paying a mortgage Nowhere near financial freedom.
- Lied about having attended an Ivy League university in Boston/Cambridge area but actually graduated from a normal state university in the Midwest.
- Lied about his current employer and mentioned a previous company he worked for.
- Lied about his father being alive in his 60s and having a second wife a decade younger than me. His father passed away long time ago. I just came on here to share some nuggets of wisdom about bras in general, if one of you find you learned something new then my job is done:)
To start with, I work in a high end lingerie store where we shape TO your body, not the other way around. Lingerie has the absolute power to transform how you feel on the daily as it’s the one thing that no uniform and no individual could control. Only YOU know what’s underneath (unless not, in that case im happy for you) and that’s special! I like to teach clients how they could wear special “fancy” pieces that they previously thought only existed for those special occasions on the daily. Quality of each piece matters, and personally find that European quality is just so much more than north American offers (cries in Canada). Once you figure out your size, you could mix around lingerie in your everyday wardrobe as statement pieces, sneaky peekaboos that could look so sophisticated when done right (ex: having a fancy lacy strap peaking through a blouse, having the top of the lacy cup peeking through in a cami, etc).
On top of this: I’ve met so many people who were mistreated at lingerie stores previously. You should not ever feel pushed into buying anything. You should not be ridiculed, shamed and ignored. Only YOU know what’s comfortable for you at the end of the day: and that’s okay. If you come to me and I fit you and you say you don’t like the true band size fit, and prefer loose because of ___, I will just warn you that you will not get as much support as you COULD, but will encourage you to stick with what you already know. If you’re sensitive to lace *good quality lace girl, not the la senza grit 4000 shred your lats by midnight. I will never show you lacey stuff. If you prefer to go in alone with no associate in the store to help you, I have tips on the bottom:)
Also a disclaimer: bra fitting is a freaking science to say the least, and that’s exactly why people like me exist! Since starting work I haven’t seen two pairs of breasts that are alike. Everyone is unique, everyone has at least a little difference in volume from left to right, and everyone has different preferences for bras.
I work hard everyday to break the stereotype of coming home and taking off that itchy piece of torture we wear daily for 8+ hours in our lives. I see so many girls come in saying they’re a 36C and they want a bra that FITS but surprise surprise they come out a 32G…
It could also be a very intimate and powerful piece of beautiful art that we wear for ourselves. Everyone deserves to be comfortable and feel beautiful in something like a bra.
Now onto the fun stuff, I’m gonna walk you through how to size yourself as best as you can :
Once you calculated your bra size with the calculator (which is correct for so many people (if measured according to instructions), however, some may feel more comfortable in sister sizing(see below))
To start with, there are two “main” types of bras: lined and unlined (padded/unpadded). I will not use any sort of “push up” or bra that has extra padding to give the girls any sort of “oomph”. When working, I prefer to size customers with unlined as that is when I can visually see if the sizing works because the padding hides any extra space that you’re not filling in that specific size. So to start with, i’m gonna have you grab any style unlined bra in the store to try on, along with two sister sizes in the same colour and style:
Now onto finding a GOOD quality bra that could outlast you:
also a very important one: Is it flattering? There are different types of styles of bras : demi cup, full cup, plunge, etc etc
I want you to try on at least a few before deciding what you don’t like. So many people don’t imagine wearing something when on display but change their minds when it’s on them.
Good quality bras that could last DECADES are in the 90-200 range. La senza and VS are following the big price ranges slowly but their quality is nowhere as good as something that Simone Pirele or Huit offers.
Fun fact: Red and any colour with red hues closer to your skin tone (read: beige lighter than your skin tone DOESNT work) will cover better under white tshirts than white.
If your bra is truly your size you should not feel it at the end of the workday.
Now random tips:
For bigger sizing stick to thicker straps. You need the support and the thin straps will dig in and make you die inside.
Demi cups are supper flattering on smaller sizes
Look at the stitching and quality of the material of the bra, learn to judge it: actual band material, if it feels high quality, if the lace is soft, etc etc. The felt on the back of the wire doesn’t count as “quality”. It should be soft but it’s never perfect, there’s some string strangers, etc.

Only YOU know what’s underneath (unless not, in that case im happy for you) and that’s special! I like to teach clients how they could wear special “fancy” pieces that they previously thought only existed for those special occasions on the daily. Quality of each piece matters, and personally find that European quality is just so much more than north American offers (cries in Canada). Once you figure out your size, you could mix around lingerie in your everyday wardrobe as statement pieces, sneaky peekaboos that could look so sophisticated when done right (ex: having a fancy lacy strap peaking through a blouse, having the top of the lacy cup peeking through in a cami, etc).
On top of this: I’ve met so many people who were mistreated at lingerie stores previously. You should not ever feel pushed into buying anything. You should not be ridiculed, shamed and ignored. Only YOU know what’s comfortable for you at the end of the day: and that’s okay. If you come to me and I fit you and you say you don’t like the true band size fit, and prefer loose because of ___, I will just warn you that you will not get as much support as you COULD, but will encourage you to stick with what you already know. If you’re sensitive to lace *good quality lace girl, not the la senza grit 4000 shred your lats by midnight. I will never show you lacey stuff. If you prefer to go in alone with no associate in the store to help you, I have tips on the bottom:)
Also a disclaimer: bra fitting is a freaking science to say the least, and that’s exactly why people like me exist! Since starting work I haven’t seen two pairs of breasts that are alike. Everyone is unique, everyone has at least a little difference in volume from left to right, and everyone has different preferences for bras.
I work hard everyday to break the stereotype of coming home and taking off that itchy piece of torture we wear daily for 8+ hours in our lives. I see so many girls come in saying they’re a 36C and they want a bra that FITS but surprise surprise they come out a 32G…
It could also be a very intimate and powerful piece of beautiful art that we wear for ourselves. Everyone deserves to be comfortable and feel beautiful in something like a bra.
Now onto the fun stuff, I’m gonna walk you through how to size yourself as best as you can :
Once you calculated your bra size with the calculator (which is correct for so many people (if measured according to instructions), however, some may feel more comfortable in sister sizing(see below))
To start with, there are two “main” types of bras: lined and unlined (padded/unpadded). I will not use any sort of “push up” or bra that has extra padding to give the girls any sort of “oomph”. When working, I prefer to size customers with unlined as that is when I can visually see if the sizing works because the padding hides any extra space that you’re not filling in that specific size. So to start with, i’m gonna have you grab any style unlined bra in the store to try on, along with two sister sizes in the same colour and style:
I will be using european sizing from here on out, so a DDD is just an F (D, DD=E, etc)Fun fact: 2 bras of the same style but different colours usually fit DIFFERENT. I know all of the product that we offer, so I know which collections and which things fit and how they fit and who they work well with. You do not need this, just remember that every bra fits different even in the same size. The difference between the sizing is super minimal, but for comfort purposes you have to try on a lot. Just because a red bra made of super tight thick material doesn’t let you breathe in a 32H doesn’t mean that a lacy soft bra will as well.
- Go up a band size and down a cup size. (For example: if your “true” size is a 32C, I want you to grab 34B as well)
- Go down a band size and up a cup size.(Again, if your “true” size is 32C I want you to grab 30D)
- Physical : Put on your “true” size first. Hook it on the loosest hook and pull the band below your back muscles. Now adjust the straps so that the band sits comfortably snug under the muscles, with around 3 fingers put horizontally under the hook on your back. It should stretch about 3-4 cm, and then “scoop” under your girls, sit them comfortably on top of the wire. Then grab the strap on top of the cup and pull it upwards towards your back and tighten until you have up to 2 fingers worth of space between the straps and your shoulder when you pull on it. Move around, if the wire is stabbing you when you’re flapping like a dying bird, not your fit.
the bra wire should sit comfortably under your girl hugging the shape. The end of the wire is supposed to be angles towards your armpit, not stabbing the girls.
- Visual : Now stand with relaxed shoulders and assess the size -> Is your boob inside the cup? There should be no “muffin top”. I’m trying to describe this as best as i can but i’m crying at this description i’m sorry😂* Now with a relaxed straight back (don’t hunch shoulders), lean over. If there’s a big gap it’s not your size girl move on.
Now onto finding a GOOD quality bra that could outlast you:
also a very important one: Is it flattering? There are different types of styles of bras : demi cup, full cup, plunge, etc etc
I want you to try on at least a few before deciding what you don’t like. So many people don’t imagine wearing something when on display but change their minds when it’s on them.
Good quality bras that could last DECADES are in the 90-200 range. La senza and VS are following the big price ranges slowly but their quality is nowhere as good as something that Simone Pirele or Huit offers.
Fun fact: Red and any colour with red hues closer to your skin tone (read: beige lighter than your skin tone DOESNT work) will cover better under white tshirts than white.
If your bra is truly your size you should not feel it at the end of the workday.
Now random tips:
For bigger sizing stick to thicker straps. You need the support and the thin straps will dig in and make you die inside.
Demi cups are supper flattering on smaller sizes
Look at the stitching and quality of the material of the bra, learn to judge it: actual band material, if it feels high quality, if the lace is soft, etc etc. The felt on the back of the wire doesn’t count as “quality”. It should be soft but it’s never perfect, there’s some string strangers, etc.

My mom works hard and then after has to take care of the house, errands, the kids, driving people around, and so much more. My dad works. But then he complains or he makes snarky comments. He doesn’t help with dropping the kids off at school or picking them up from activities. Only sometimes, like once every week just so he has something to hold over my mom’s head so she doesn’t yell at him. My dad just complains and yells at her and is an overall hypocrite. He will find a wet spot on the carpet and instead of cleaning it up, he’ll leave it and go drink and watch TV then yell at my mom later for not seeing the stain before him and cleaning it up. Sometimes when he drinks, he gets scarily angry and will yell at anyone or anything for breathing. The moment you hear sarcastic “You know I love that…” you know you push your mind far away from here as to not bear the weight of his anger. And my mom, my hardworking mom, always takes the brunt of it. He’s usually yelling at her for the dishes or that she spends too much time at work. One time, he yelled at her for her car being a mess because she drives 4 kids around everyday. Instead of helping her clean it up, he picked things out of the car seat pockets and threw them at her head. Sometimes I try arguing with him to help my mom but it never ends well and i always feel helpless. My mom claims she’s alright and I shouldnt be mad at him. I just want my mama to be happy. I want her to be with a man that values her and loves her for how hardworking and great she is. But she refuses to leave my dad, just because my siblings are so young and she claims he’s not that bad. I know its bad to say it, but i wouldn’t care if she as cheating on him, in fact, I would have a stable peace of mind knowing she chose to be with someone she actually likes, and hopefully someone who cherishes her. I know dhe would never leave him, and it makes me so angry that she’s going to spend the rest of her life this way. I love my dad but he treats her like absolute shit. he doesn’t acknowledge anything she does and only yells and yells. I just wish my mom would be happy.

Forbidden Door- MJF vs Kazuchika Okada The match is a spectacle with Okada’s moves being stolen by MJF ‘who can do then better’ and arm work to set up Salt of the Earth, but ends with a Dynamite ring shot while the ref is down into a Rainmaker Clothesline onto Okada but it’s only 2! The king of last second kick outs does it again. As MJF sets up for the Heatseeker, Okada pushes him away and takes the champ down. He hits a real Rainmaker Clothesline, only just too close to the ropes. Okada scales the rope in homage to Tanahashi, but MJF gets height on a drop kick. From the top, he hits a Heatseeker to spike Okada for a win.
Fyter Fest Night 1 Furious he has to defend on night 1 instead of night 2, MJF comes up against Bandido. The Mexican superstar powers Max around the ring, holding him in a Suplex for almost all of Picture in Picture, totaling almost 100 seconds straight. After this, however, The Salt of the Earth almost breaks the challenger's arm and he’s forced to tap. After the match, he gets a mic and talks about him being the money maker of AEW and how he was disrespected by being on Night 2. However, he’s given a challenge on Rampage for Night 2.
Fyter Fest Night 2 MJF vs Shawn Spears From their time in the Pinnacle, MJF tries to get the perfect 10 to lay down for him, only to get an 11 in response from each hand. Spears is valiant in his fight, though the ref is out eventually so Max swings a chair but gets it caught. Finally, the Chairman has a chair in hand and hesitates to use it. He eventually drops it though, only to get a low blow. MJF grabs the chair and uses a Heatseeker on the chair just in time to get a pin.
All In- Wembley In the weeks leading up to All In, there are cryptic messages about the World Title going through the pipeline. On the night, on the video board the cryptic messages reveals: PAC. In Wembley, Pac enters second as he starts the match with a quickly pump kick and a Brutalizer to almost take the win quickly. The match is about Pac trying to quickly and efficiently ware down in his home country while Max does everything to stop his momentum. Once Pac goes up goes up for the Black Arrow, he takes too long to set up and MJF gets up and actually hits a Spanish Fly. Later, Max rakes the eyes to bring Pac into the ropes for a Heatseeker. He locks in Salt in the middle of the ring. Despite his best efforts, Pac passes out in the middle of the ring.
At Grand Slam in Long Island, Max beats John Silver who has the support of Dark Order and Hangman to channel his inner Brody. At Full Gear, he beats Miro who steps up as the one to Redeem AEW from the tyrant. However, he loses as a result of two Dynamite Ring shots. Finally at Winter is Coming, Khan brings up the final boss of AEW.
Winter is Coming MJF vs Kenny Omega. The last Dynamite of 2023 with the past and future of AEW going at it for the belt. With Kota Ibushi by his side, the Golden Lover makes Max survive 2 V-Triggers early on and hits back with a collection of slams and an AA to mock the fans. He hits a Rainmaker Clothesline on Omega and a Style’s Clash, and even after a Buckshot, Kenny stands tall. As Kenny sets up a OWA, Max rakes the eyes and sends Omega to the ref to check his eyes. As he does, Max grabs the Diamond Ring. But, Ibushi is there to stop it! As the ref comes to take him off the apron, Max is caught in a OWA! The ref is distracted for almost 10 seconds before he comes over for the pin and MJF kicks out of the OWA. As Kenny argues, Max locks in the Salt. He wrenches it hard before it looks like he snaps Omega’s arm. That causes him to tap immediately. MJF says he’ll be leaving AEW in January with the belt, but Tony Khan again comes out. He says that MJF’s contract requires him to work every major PPV he’s asked to. On December 31st, the last Sunday of the year, AEW Battle of the Belts will be taking place for the first time on PPV. All AEW titles are on the line, with MJF defending his belt against the heart of AEW…
Battle of the Belts MJF vs Eddie Kingston The brawler from Yonkers takes his time to beat the shit out of MJF. When MJF hits a Diamond Ring, Eddie eats it and takes another before falling to the mat. However, he’s out at 2. MJF gets Salt in and even snaps it back like Omega, but Kingston won’t tap. He’s on the edge of passing out but holds strong when checked. He fights his way up and gives MJF his own dirty tactics with bites and claws to fight back. He has to hit two Urakens and an old school American D to finally fell the beast that was MJF.
In 2024, MJF secures a small extension for a chance to win back his title at Beach Break in February, but he must fight at each show before then. On the way him and Eddie cut scathing promos but at Beach Break in New York, MJF is gone either for good or for a bit. To round out the year, Eddie retains against CM Punk at Revolution but falls to the King of Black Malakai at Double or Nothing.

Kazuichi: It took a little bit of creative thinking but with Hiyoko, Gundham and Mukuro we finally had an idea. Mukuro is going to throw knives around Hiyoko's dance while Gundham's hamsters do some tricks on the knives that get stuck in the backdrop. Pretty brilliant, right. I bet Miss Sonia thinks so!

Kazuichi: Hiyoko, are you ready to begin?
Hiyoko: I was born ready, dummy. This is my talent after all. [She begins dancing]
Kazuichi: Okay Mukuro, now aim carefully as not to hit Hiyoko and strike the backdrop with the knives.
Mukuro: Sure, no problem. [Starts throwing knives around Hiyoko]
Hiyoko: Eeee! [She jumps a little every time a knife whizzes past her, stabbing into the backdrop making little platforms]
Kazuichi: Alright Gundham, you're up!
Gundham: Hmph, while this may be a mockery of your power, for the good of our team do not disappoint me my Dark Devas of Destruction! To the left San-D. The right Maga-Z. Jum-P, the high one. And of course Cham-P, harness all your power and get to the low one there. [They each take a knife pedestal] Now switch it up! [They begin leaping from knife to knife timing it to Hiyoko's dance]
Kazuichi: Yes, this is working. Now Mukuro, just a few more knives to bring home the finale. Just aim true; you've got this.
Mukuro: Aim true, right…

Mukuro: I'm supposed to play dirty, right? I've never been more confident in my accuracy…and yet.

Hiyoko: Just throw it already, my dance is almost over.
Mukuro: *deep breath* [she eyes a slit through the backdrop and sees Kaede and Makoto at the piano] HIYAH!!!
[The knife speeds past Hiyoko and she feels the motion] Hiyoko: Hey, watch where you're throwing you clumsy-

I (m38) have a daughter (f13). I am a single dad and her mother isn't around because she chose other things over her daughter when our daughter was a toddler. 2 months ago my daughter got diagnosis with Leukemia. It has been difficult for her both physically and mentally.
I have always done anything to make my little girl happy but now especially I'm really big on Just making her happy during this very difficult time. My brother “Chris” (m40) has always given me shit for this. Throughout my daughter’s life, I've always done anything she wanted to go play with Barbies, play beauty salon, watch princess movies, etc. Chris who is super fixed on being a manly man always gives me shit asking if I lost my man card, saying he's glad it's not him being forced into doing all these girly things. It's so annoying he says those things.
Since my daughter got diagnosis with leukemia / started chemo we haven't seen my family super often because of my daughter’s now weak immune system. Well, about 2 weeks ago my daughter convinced me to let her dye my hair... So I now have pink hair which I honestly enjoy. I work from home so it's not like I have to look professional or anything plus it made my girl happy. Well 6 days ago she had a chemo session and that was a really rough one afterward she laid in bed for 4 days straight. Yesterday she finally felt better and we ended up having a movie/ spa day to celebrate. In the middle of the whole spa day my mom wanted to face time well I had a cucumber facemask on as well as getting my nails painted by my daughter.
Chris ended up being there and when he saw me he laughed and said at this point I'm just unmasculine and just gave my man card away. I finally got fed up with his comments and called Chirs an idiot for thinking that way and that he just a sexist asshole who is completely fixed on being manly. I then told Chris that's the reason he can never keep a girlfriend and he needs to stop trying to be overly manly. He called me an asshole.
My parents ended up agreeing with Chris saying I was in the wrong for bringing up his dating life. So AITA?

Across his breast he wore a mink-skin, and round his waist small strips of otter-skin, to all of which bells were attached. For a long time he kept silence, but at length he laid down his black stone pipe and addressed Sacred Otter as follows: "I am Es-tonea-pesta, the Lord of Cold Weather, and this, my dwelling, is the Snow-tepee, or Yellow Paint Lodge. I control and send the driving snow and biting winds from the Northland. You are here because I have taken pity upon you, and on your son who was caught in the blizzard with you. Take this Snow-tepee with its symbols and medicines. Take also this mink-skin tobacco-pouch, this black stonepipe, and my supernatural power. The Lord of Cold Weather then minutely explained to Sacred Otter the symbols of which he must make use in painting the lodge, and gave him the songs and ceremonial connected with it. At this juncture Sacred Otter awoke. Sacred Otter spent the long, cold nights in making a model of the Snow-tepee and painting it as he had been directed in his dream. He also collected the 'medicines' necessary for the ceremonial, and in the spring, when new lodges were made, he built and painted the Snow-tepee. The power of Sacred Otter waxed great because of his possession of the Snow-lodge which the Lord of Cold had vouchsafed to him in dream. Soon was it proved. They are not just a part of the pantheon of Ukrainian desserts - in fact, they are a member of a veritable club of "fried dough cookie/pastry kinds of things" commonly referred to internationally as angel wings, a dish that is itself a notable member of the grander European family of cuisine. Ukraine's version also its own unique details. Verhuny are fried dough pastries that have often been kissed by just a little alcohol - like Horilka. While I don't believe I've ever heard of them being made with yeasted dough, they were/are often traditionally made with cultured dairy products like sour cream or Kefir (I included a Kefir-based recipe below). If you're a civilized person that is an enjoyer of fried dough confections, Verhuny will introduce itself as an old familiar friend. Okay, don't make eye contact. Just keep walking. Verhuny come in many shapes and sizes depending on the mood or inclinations of the chef. Its name likely comes from an old word that means to weave. It's also worth mentioning that it is not uncommon in Ukraine for this same type of cookie to be referred to as Khrustyky (which roughly means crunchy things), which is also what they are referred to as in Poland from what I gather. A Verhun by any other name would indeed taste as sweet. These are very old desserts - in fact, there's a whole museum called the Living Museum of Verhuny that is dedicated to this cookie in Poltava region! Step 1: In a deep bowl combine flour, baking powder, and sugar. Step 2: Beat 1 egg and add it to the flour fix. Add Kefir. Mix with a spoon. Step 3: Dust the work surface with flour and knead the dough until it does not stick to your hands. You can use a kitchen aid with a proper attachment. Step 4: Make a ball from the dough, wrap in cling film and leave to rest for 20 minutes. Step 5: Cut off a section of a dough and roll it out into a round shape about 3 - 4mm thick (0.1-0.15 of an inch). Step 6: Cut strips about 6cm (2.5 inches) wide and cut them into rhombuses 9-10cm long (little under 4 inches). Step 6. Step 7: Make a 4cm (~1.5 inch) slit in the middle of each and pull one edge through the that slit in the middle you just made. Step 7. Step 8: Heat a pan, or a deep fryer with 500 ml of sunflower oil. Fry the dough on both sides, turning with a slotted spoon until a brown crust appears. Step 9: Put the finished Verhuny on a plate covered with a paper towel to absorb excess oil. When they cool down, sprinkle 50 g of powdered sugar and serve. So today (June 3rd) around lunchtime the internet went out and instead of the globe icon on the router turning red indicating an ISP issue, it instead has the two lines indicating the wires as red, signaling a cut somewhere.
The nearby neighbors on my street all don't have internet either, as Frontier is the only ISP available in our area, so we're all dead in the water.
The cable is almost completely underground from what I could tell, walking around a few blocks from my house where the wire runs, following the little boxes with the miss dig numbers on them.
I called them about it, and the lady said she does see calls and reports from other people on the two streets that are right by my house, but she said that the estimated repair is going to be June 13th, because "If there's not enough people without service, then it puts us at a disadvantage to repair it cause of the hassle of importing materials"
That nonsense statement seems to indicate they have zero intentions of getting this fixed, all while they collect payments.
There's people I live by who work from home or have side jobs that depend on internet, and we all are screwed right now, all while they seemingly are dragging their feet.
I dont trust their repair estimate date either because I had an install appointment at another house for May 4th that they completely blew off and have yet to show up for, all while they hold onto the 100 dollar deposit that I payed when I ordered the service on April 27th.
Is there any advice people can offer as to what I could do to make sure they get this fixed much sooner? I really appreciate it

With 100+ friends on my list, gifting has become the the biggest, yet, rewarding chore. Living in the suburbs with not to many pokestops close by together, I have to go out of my way to get gifts. My routine goes:
Wake up, send 20 gifts to friends (2+ days gets priority) -> On my way to work, try to spin as many stops as possible. Continue gifting until I run out. -> On my way home, spin and gift until I’ve run out of friends to be gifted for the day. -> walk my dog, fill my bag with 20 gifts for the next day. Repeat.
It’s pretty exhausting but XP and vivillon collection building is it definitely worth it. There’s definitely a big part of me that feels pressured to send all my friends gift and it just feels weird to gift in a leisurely way lol. Is anybody else in the same situation? If you have a work smarter, not harder method please drop some knowledge🙏

I am sorry for the long post but I need to get it off my chest and I need advice. TW This post mentions abuse. Also the spelling is bad because I am emotional and have dysgraphia. TLDR at bottom but I have no idea if i can sum this up. pretty much a throw away account
I (16F) never really noticed anything that out of sorts my family was until maybe some time maybe last year mabye sooner my memory is patchy at best. I guess I just ignored it and refused to think that my parents could do anything wrong, and I still sometimes think that way. My sister (19F) and I have never been close despite living in rooms right next to each other, though we pretended. I guess we always have pretended. I don't quite know how to explain my mom but my dad's (50M) behavior is simple. My dad is a doctor so he is never home, and when he is he demands our attention. He wakes up early (5 am) by his own choice to run. He gets home at varying hours but never earilier than 6 or 7. He showers eats dinner then goes to bed. I never bonded with him correctly and so when he does get time off it feels wrong. He acts like we shoudl know all about him but I honestly don't. He never did anything to try to bond with me as we have differing interests so it required effort (this is the tame stuff but I need you to understand our dynamic so you can userstand my predicament). I am the black sheep of the 4 of us, I have ADHD and Dysgraphia so I think diffrently I guess, I don't like school or math or science (my who family (not extended family) is into that stuff, doctor, chemical engineer, bio chem major) and I guess I don't, my parents love hiking and pfisical activity and travel and I don't, I am creative and they are not. My dad alwase forced me to do thigns like backpacking (with our family + another family who's daughters was the embodiment of spoiled only child while my sister got to chose ehr friend), or going on a boat but I (only recently put a name to it) am scared of the ocean, and water (not drinking water but like bodies of water). Anyway thats all tame but now that you understand the dynamic, my dad has a temper. He doesn't get mad easily but when he does it is bad. When I was little (5 or 6ish) I didn't want to shower so (I don't remember what happened before this but I was somehow unclothed) and in the hallway of our house. I was throwing a temper-tantrum as all kids do when they are that age. I don't remember how I ended up on the floor but I remember it hurt, then I remember my dad hitting my butt over and over I just remember his face when I stood up, it was angry and red and terrifying. I just remember thinking that if I cry again I didn't know what he would do. These incidents are rare I can only remember 3 but I really don't know if I am just suppressing it or if its only those 3. The second time was my sister she was in (I think it was some sore of manic/dissociate state and needed serious help) what my parents said was a depressive episode and it might have been but there was more too it, ill get to that later. She didn't want to do the dishes (there was more too it but that was how it started) and after months of her being in this weird state they got fed up with one of their kids actually having a problem and they couldn't manipulate or gaslight her out of it so my dad got mad. My sister ended up in her room (I don't remember most I just remember considering calling my grandmother because whenever something like this happens it is nuclear) and she blocked the door with her bean bag. Its heavy and large and when she put it against the door it wouldn't open. I was still blind to my it being my parent's wrong doing and wanted to help. I don't remember why I left ,y room but my sister was at the top of the stairs saying something about her mental struggles and my parents hate "excuses" and my dad acted out. I dont remember much but I remember him dragging her down the stairs while she cried by her feet. Not in a way where her head would hit but just to get her down. They threw her out and I was scared but thought that fights were normal. She came back and they let her in again that same night after a few hours. I won't get into the third time as it is kind of a mix of the last two and you get the picture (me from after I typed this out here: I am remembering some more incidents that are less physically painful but involve my dad using force). My mom(49f) is different, she never really touched either of us in that way she doesn't have too. If I am 90% sure she is either a sociopath, psychopathy, or narcist, though there is no use trying to find out as she in her mind is just shy of being a god. She is the reason I don't know who I am (in the less literal interpretation of that phrase I know my name and stuff just not who I am as a person), or have any hobbies, or really know how to succeed in life. She sees me as some sort of npc/character in her game. Any action that is not in the programed rout is a glitch or problem and isn't real, just has to be reset to fix (my analogies suck but I'm trying). She didn't raise me she trained me, like a dog in some senses. You can train that puppy like disobedience out of the dog's actions, turn them from a food stealing, slipper chewing problem into a service dog if you wanted. She tried that with us I guess. never really let me develop into who I could (and because I am still young might possibly be one day if i make it out of this house in one peice). She would entertain an idea with no real intention of following through. She would manipulate me itno thigns I never really liked. I tried acting when I was younger not professional but still a good program. She loved that, somehting that would fufil my creativity that she could never understand, and she could show off the fancy and expensive program she put her daugter in. She was happy when I got increasingly bigger roles and loved when I sang. I hated singing but I foced myself to like it becuase it made her happy. Fancy lessons she could brag about, performances she could invite anyone too, the perfect family. I even took the elective in middle school but I guess it was better than drama. I had quit acting by middle-school as I had started talking about how tech week caused me to stay up past midnight (I was in 2nd grade when I joined) or the pressure to be perfect, or the makeup and phisicial standards and competition and toxicity. She didn't like that I had become less like her plan in those years. The enviorment was aweful, my sister and I never got along. I am starting to think that she (intentionally or not) shielded me from the worst of it in our childhood, but I might never know as we have never spoken about any of this out loud except for the few rare exceptions. We hated each other most of the time becuase of our parents. They would aways mention our worst qualities to the other when we couldn't hear, but they would do it where it wasn't obvious. "don't worry [sister's name] OP is just having a hard time in school because [Problem], she just needs space". That wouldn't be a problem except we each thought the other was the favorite child. We each had what the other wanted, she had my parents adoration becuase of her extremely good grades and intelligence, and all I wanted was to feel like I was loved and accepted. While I had... well I don't actully know but my mother said that durin one of ehr episodes she said she hated them for me being the favorite and she admitted she was jelous of me but my best guess is that I was treated better some times because I was the daughter they loved to show off, the unique one who is also smart (not as smart as her). We both wanted to be like the siblings in the books that we both loved, who "hated" but didn't really just had minor arguments not almost-strangers who tried to ruin each other who shared a bathroom for a few years and also had similar DNA. Though I guess sometimes we did pull through and were reallly there for eachother, after years of ebig conditoned and molded there really is no undoing that without therapy and healing and years of work. We are doing a lot better and I sheild her as best as I can from my parent's controling nature by letting her know when they invade her privacy by scanning social media and look for key words or phrases thats she would use to see what she is up too. We are working on it but our bond is broken and only starting to heal, and we can't do that when in our parent's clutches. I am starting to suspect my sister has some form of PTSD and I might have something similar. I still feel sometimes as if I am making it up and its nto as bad as I think it to be, or im making it sound worse or dramatic for attention even though I don't talk about it. I am a great story teller most of the time though this is rather rambling, and after years of being told that I am just blowing things out of perportion I don't even know. It might be a real issue and I might be unsafe or I could just have crappy parents who are normal and I'm the probelm. And it's true I am a problem I am manipulative and vindictive sometimes and I have an excuse for everything, but I remid myself that I learned those triats to survie this. If i never show negitive emotion my mom will have nothing to correct so she cannot punish me as much. thier offical punishments are lax but I guess the real punishment is knowing you slipped and you are goign to have to endure emotional burdern for a while. When I get in that rut of beliving I am the problem and that my parents are normal and good I remember one thing my mom said years ago. She told me (after her an another mom were talking about punishemtns and spankings) that I couldn't tell people my dad had spanked me so hard I almost passed out and it left a mark because they would take them away and I would't want that right? My own mother has used similar lines to that 1 million times. My own mother knows her behavior could get CPS called, but then again it could be the way I told the story and I don't remember it. My sister called the cops once but they didn't do anything. My mom told me that and I don't know why but I have a feeling it is because my sister had the same though I ahve had every time I get close to picking up the phone "what about my future?". They pay for collage, expenses, food, housing, monetarily speaking we have it good. I have all the electronics to keep me sane for a little longer and them I am home free... Well that's what I thought until my mom started entertaining the idea that I stay here and do community collage because I am having "trouble with my GPA" I have a 3.?? across both years of highschool. I adapt and learn fast, but I guess in my mom's eyes she realized that I her puppet would be gone. She lives though me and wants to keep doing that, and since my sister went as close to NC as she could get when she left she wants me in this house for as long as she can justify. I am not going to collage to better my future in the normal sense I am going because it is my only escape. Hell my theripist tells my mom everything so I only ask her about ADHD stuff. My parents control our lives through so many other ways, but this post has gone on long enough and I think you get the picture. I only started to notice this when my sister said (I don't remember when or where but I know it was her, maybe I don't know but I do know that is this is suppression then I should see a real therapist) but she said something along the lines of " you know this sint normal right? our parents are abuisve". I dont remember what I said to that but I have begun to notice it and my own triggers everywhere and when I tell people about it the more tame side they say that I do have trauma and need a real therapist. I have paranoia and manic episodes and I am 16 I guess I could be misentepriteing it and just wanting to be special but I honestly believe I have issues.
TLDR: my dad is physically abusive on occasion, and my mom is emotionally abusive and manipulative, my sister is burned out and has a trauma response to any arguing, and my mom is not hinting that she wants to keep me from going to collage which is my one escape. And I am manipulative and vindictive because I had to be to get out of punishment's or spending time with them so I didn't mess up. And I still sometimes think they are innocents.
so here is what I need in advice: what should I do? how do I make it through till collage? how do I get help before I become like them? How do I get evaluated for whatever trauma response I have (I don't want it online for the world to know) without them finding out? how do I do this? and maybe more questions that I am too emotional to think of. wow this was much longer than I expected and very eye opening. I am the black sheep of the 4 of us, I have ADHD and Dysgraphia so I think diffrently I guess, I don't like school or math or science (my who family (not extended family) is into that stuff, doctor, chemical engineer, bio chem major) and I guess I don't, my parents love hiking and pfisical activity and travel and I don't, I am creative and they are not. My dad alwase forced me to do thigns like backpacking (with our family + another family who's daughters was the embodiment of spoiled only child while my sister got to chose ehr friend), or going on a boat but I (only recently put a name to it) am scared of the ocean, and water (not drinking water but like bodies of water). Anyway thats all tame but now that you understand the dynamic, my dad has a temper. He doesn't get mad easily but when he does it is bad. When I was little (5 or 6ish) I didn't want to shower so (I don't remember what happened before this but I was somehow unclothed) and in the hallway of our house. I was throwing a temper-tantrum as all kids do when they are that age. I don't remember how I ended up on the floor but I remember it hurt, then I remember my dad hitting my butt over and over I just remember his face when I stood up, it was angry and red and terrifying. I just remember thinking that if I cry again I didn't know what he would do. These incidents are rare I can only remember 3 but I really don't know if I am just suppressing it or if its only those 3. The second time was my sister she was in (I think it was some sore of manic/dissociate state and needed serious help) what my parents said was a depressive episode and it might have been but there was more too it, ill get to that later. She didn't want to do the dishes (there was more too it but that was how it started) and after months of her being in this weird state they got fed up with one of their kids actually having a problem and they couldn't manipulate or gaslight her out of it so my dad got mad. My sister ended up in her room (I don't remember most I just remember considering calling my grandmother because whenever something like this happens it is nuclear) and she blocked the door with her bean bag. Its heavy and large and when she put it against the door it wouldn't open. I was still blind to my it being my parent's wrong doing and wanted to help. I don't remember why I left ,y room but my sister was at the top of the stairs saying something about her mental struggles and my parents hate "excuses" and my dad acted out. I dont remember much but I remember him dragging her down the stairs while she cried by her feet. Not in a way where her head would hit but just to get her down. They threw her out and I was scared but thought that fights were normal. She came back and they let her in again that same night after a few hours. I won't get into the third time as it is kind of a mix of the last two and you get the picture (me from after I typed this out here: I am remembering some more incidents that are less physically painful but involve my dad using force). My mom(49f) is different, she never really touched either of us in that way she doesn't have too. If I am 90% sure she is either a sociopath, psychopathy, or narcist, though there is no use trying to find out as she in her mind is just shy of being a god. She is the reason I don't know who I am (in the less literal interpretation of that phrase I know my name and stuff just not who I am as a person), or have any hobbies, or really know how to succeed in life. She sees me as some sort of npc/character in her game. Any action that is not in the programed rout is a glitch or problem and isn't real, just has to be reset to fix (my analogies suck but I'm trying). She didn't raise me she trained me, like a dog in some senses. You can train that puppy like disobedience out of the dog's actions, turn them from a food stealing, slipper chewing problem into a service dog if you wanted. She tried that with us I guess. never really let me develop into who I could (and because I am still young might possibly be one day if i make it out of this house in one peice). She would entertain an idea with no real intention of following through. She would manipulate me itno thigns I never really liked. I tried acting when I was younger not professional but still a good program. She loved that, somehting that would fufil my creativity that she could never understand, and she could show off the fancy and expensive program she put her daugter in. She was happy when I got increasingly bigger roles and loved when I sang. I hated singing but I foced myself to like it becuase it made her happy. Fancy lessons she could brag about, performances she could invite anyone too, the perfect family. I even took the elective in middle school but I guess it was better than drama. I had quit acting by middle-school as I had started talking about how tech week caused me to stay up past midnight (I was in 2nd grade when I joined) or the pressure to be perfect, or the makeup and phisicial standards and competition and toxicity. She didn't like that I had become less like her plan in those years. The enviorment was aweful, my sister and I never got along. I am starting to think that she (intentionally or not) shielded me from the worst of it in our childhood, but I might never know as we have never spoken about any of this out loud except for the few rare exceptions. We hated each other most of the time becuase of our parents. They would aways mention our worst qualities to the other when we couldn't hear, but they would do it where it wasn't obvious. "don't worry [sister's name] OP is just having a hard time in school because [Problem], she just needs space". That wouldn't be a problem except we each thought the other was the favorite child. We each had what the other wanted, she had my parents adoration becuase of her extremely good grades and intelligence, and all I wanted was to feel like I was loved and accepted. While I had... well I don't actully know but my mother said that durin one of ehr episodes she said she hated them for me being the favorite and she admitted she was jelous of me but my best guess is that I was treated better some times because I was the daughter they loved to show off, the unique one who is also smart (not as smart as her). We both wanted to be like the siblings in the books that we both loved, who "hated" but didn't really just had minor arguments not almost-strangers who tried to ruin each other who shared a bathroom for a few years and also had similar DNA. Though I guess sometimes we did pull through and were reallly there for eachother, after years of ebig conditoned and molded there really is no undoing that without therapy and healing and years of work. We are doing a lot better and I sheild her as best as I can from my parent's controling nature by letting her know when they invade her privacy by scanning social media and look for key words or phrases thats she would use to see what she is up too. We are working on it but our bond is broken and only starting to heal, and we can't do that when in our parent's clutches. I am starting to suspect my sister has some form of PTSD and I might have something similar. I still feel sometimes as if I am making it up and its nto as bad as I think it to be, or im making it sound worse or dramatic for attention even though I don't talk about it. I am a great story teller most of the time though this is rather rambling, and after years of being told that I am just blowing things out of perportion I don't even know. It might be a real issue and I might be unsafe or I could just have crappy parents who are normal and I'm the probelm. And it's true I am a problem I am manipulative and vindictive sometimes and I have an excuse for everything, but I remid myself that I learned those triats to survie this. If i never show negitive emotion my mom will have nothing to correct so she cannot punish me as much. thier offical punishments are lax but I guess the real punishment is knowing you slipped and you are goign to have to endure emotional burdern for a while. When I get in that rut of beliving I am the problem and that my parents are normal and good I remember one thing my mom said years ago. She told me (after her an another mom were talking about punishemtns and spankings) that I couldn't tell people my dad had spanked me so hard I almost passed out and it left a mark because they would take them away and I would't want that right? My own mother has used similar lines to that 1 million times. My own mother knows her behavior could get CPS called, but then again it could be the way I told the story and I don't remember it. My sister called the cops once but they didn't do anything. My mom told me that and I don't know why but I have a feeling it is because my sister had the same though I ahve had every time I get close to picking up the phone "what about my future?". They pay for collage, expenses, food, housing, monetarily speaking we have it good. I have all the electronics to keep me sane for a little longer and them I am home free... Well that's what I thought until my mom started entertaining the idea that I stay here and do community collage because I am having "trouble with my GPA" I have a 3.?? across both years of highschool. I adapt and learn fast, but I guess in my mom's eyes she realized that I her puppet would be gone. She lives though me and wants to keep doing that, and since my sister went as close to NC as she could get when she left she wants me in this house for as long as she can justify. I am not going to collage to better my future in the normal sense I am going because it is my only escape. Hell my theripist tells my mom everything so I only ask her about ADHD stuff. My parents control our lives through so many other ways, but this post has gone on long enough and I think you get the picture. I only started to notice this when my sister said (I don't remember when or where but I know it was her, maybe I don't know but I do know that is this is suppression then I should see a real therapist) but she said something along the lines of " you know this sint normal right? our parents are abuisve". I dont remember what I said to that but I have begun to notice it and my own triggers everywhere and when I tell people about it the more tame side they say that I do have trauma and need a real therapist. I have paranoia and manic episodes and I am 16 I guess I could be misentepriteing it and just wanting to be special but I honestly believe I have issues.
TLDR: my dad is physically abusive on occasion, and my mom is emotionally abusive and manipulative, my sister is burned out and has a trauma response to any arguing, and my mom is not hinting that she wants to keep me from going to collage which is my one escape. And I am manipulative and vindictive because I had to be to get out of punishment's or spending time with them so I didn't mess up. And I still sometimes think they are innocents.
so here is what I need in advice: what should I do? how do I make it through till collage? how do I get help before I become like them? How do I get evaluated for whatever trauma response I have (I don't want it online for the world to know) without them finding out? how do I do this? and maybe more questions that I am too emotional to think of. wow this was much longer than I expected and very eye opening. I still feel like I am making it up and that they are good parents, I want them too be. Please tell me this is not all in my head?

So as the title states, it m new to this community. I collected and played the card game in the late 90’s to early 00’s (33M) and only recently got back into collecting and playing the game.
Funnily enough, I’m a construction foreman who spends a lot of time in hotels and learned that my crew all play together in the evenings and go to a local Wizard’s Loft to play when at home and whatnot.
For new cards I really only have bought Scarlet and Violet so far. Though I’m 3 short of a full set of those. I only started there because I’ve just been playing the games on switch.
The local place never has Evolving Skies, I’m going tomorrow to get a Charizard Ultra Premium box, but am wondering what other set are worth trying out.
I’m looking for sets that have both highly collectible cards (still have my entire childhood collection that I’ve recently learned have some value if I’d ever sell them, which I wont) and also have really good playable cards.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
