We may remember that in the Second Chapter the Lord, instructing Arjuna, said that He had spoken to him of many things and that He would instruct him in the way of buddhi-yoga. Now buddhi-yoga is explained. Buddhi-yoga itself is action in Kṛṣṇa consciousness; that is the highest intelligence. Buddhi means intelligence, and yoga means mystic activities or mystic elevation. When one tries to go back home, back to Godhead, and takes fully to Kṛṣṇa consciousness in devotional service, his action is called buddhi-yoga. In other words, buddhi-yoga is the process by which one gets out of the entanglement of this material world. The ultimate goal of progress is Kṛṣṇa. People do not know this; therefore the association of devotees and a bona fide spiritual master are important.\* *One should know that the goal is Kṛṣṇa, and when the goal is assigned, then the path is slowly but progressively traversed, and the ultimate goal is achieved. When a person knows the goal of life but is addicted to the fruits of activities, he is acting in karma-yoga. When he knows that the goal is Kṛṣṇa but he takes pleasure in mental speculations to understand Kṛṣṇa, he is acting in jñāna-yoga. And when he knows the goal and seeks Kṛṣṇa completely in Kṛṣṇa consciousness and devotional service, he is acting in bhakti-yoga, or buddhi-yoga, which is the complete yoga. I shall describe the celebration of festival after the image has been installed. It shall be for a night, or three or five nights. 2-3. Without the festival the installation would become fruitless. The festival for the deity [i.e., utsava] should be celebrated when the sun enters the solstitial or the equinoctial points in the bedchamber or garden or it may be done in favour of the person at whose instance the ceremony is performed with the sowing of auspicious seeds and the notes of sacred music. 4-5. An earthen vessel, a small water pot or an embankment are suitable for the sowing of seeds. Grains of barley, uncultivated rice, sesamum, green gram, wheat, white mustard, horsegram, and black gram should be winnowed, washed and sown. Offerings should be made in the east and other directions. Lighted lamps should be carried round the edifice in the night. 6. (Offering should be made) to Indra, Kumuda and other -deities and spirits. They visit the place assuming shapes of men. 7. (One who carries such lamps) certainly gets the merit of (doing) aśvamedha (horse sacrifice) for every step he places. The priest should submit to the lord (as follows) after his return. 8. “O Lord! best among the Gods! you have to be taken in a procession tomorrow [i.e., tīrtha-yātrā]. By all means you deserve to permit us O Lord! to commence the same. 9. Having informed the lord in this way the festivities should be undertaken. The platform should be decorated with young shoots of plants and small water-jar. 10-11. Four pillars (should be erected). The image should be placed in a svastika (figure) (drawn) in their midst. Or desired objects should be painted and placed there and the act of making the deity present in the image should be done with the vaiṣṇava mantra. (The image) should be anointed with ghee with (the recitation of) the principal (mantra). Or the wise man should arrange an incessant flow of ghee over the image the whole night. What is gravitation if not a spiritual urge? What is this force that pulls the Earth round the Sun if it is not spiritual? We may wonder how the force of gravitation can be spiritual, because it is known to be a physical phenomenon.\* *But, it is all a question of nomenclature. We may call it physical, psychological, social, ethical, moral, or spiritual, as we like. The point is, what is it essentially? Why is there any pull at all—the pull of moral force, the pull of psychic contents, the pull of love and affection? What is it that pulls one thing towards another? 2023.06.09 00:43 Blvck_Cherry A bad trip turned into something I really needed..
For context, I just finished a growing a batch of Jack Frost for the first time. I had previously grown APE’s that didn’t bruise at all but I thought were still normal potency because I ready in places that even thought there is lesser amount of blue doesn’t mean it’s weaker. Well it turns out I was wrong about my assumption. My tolerance is really high for mushrooms, I have to take a bit more of the same mushroom to get the same result of a lower dose. However I over estimated my natural tolerance and consumed 6g of the JF cause it was 2g less than my normal dose of APE. After 20 minutes a could see how intense visuals were getting for that time period but wasn’t too worried, it was 10 minutes later when the wave of effects from when I chugged the tea kicked in (the effects came on in the same pattern I drank the tea, kinda cool). I immediately knew this was going to be a long one so I put on some music and closed my eyes as it hurt to keep them open. Everything was shaking and had color shifts. As my eyes were closed I took note that I had very little closed eye visuals, all I saw were tiny dots of red green and blue constantly changing between them, that’s it. My body high was pretty damn intense, it felt awkward to move. I was able to keep myself grounded thankfully. Not grounded from an ego death, but from light panic which would turn out good cause what I thought was going to be a 3-4 hour trip tuned into 7 (I’ve never made tea before so thought it would be close to lemon tek. HAHA NOPE! So while I lay there regretting my decision feeling like a dumb teen laying in their bed while having string visuals and ear ringing, whisk is what I was. I began to notice that I have started to abuse the shrooms I’ve grown. Hiding it from others at night has always had a tendency to make a trip less enjoyable and such, however I was doing it cause my temptations grew stronger than than what i could say no too. After the peak, I’m coming down and text my mother who is letting me grow in her house, and I ask her to hang on to what I have because I’m being irresponsible. So she agrees and I tell her to not let me have any more than 2 a month. I need to change and not be dependent on things.
In the end, I realized that I’m not as passionate about growing as I thought I was, it was simply an adhd thingy. And also that I’m going to stop growing until I have my own place. Im still a teen, almost 18 yes but still young. I have been irresponsible with them and will no longer grow. The 300+ grams of what I have should last me a while.
I am open to constructive feed back and or advise on how to hold myself accountable.

A little back story she was never there for me she let her boyfriends abuse me she wouldn’t always join but she did sometimes If at anytime the boyfriend was at work she would do the abusing. It’s also important to know that I have 2 siblings a brother and a sister they are 2 years apart.
I was the one to take the role of “mom” if I messed up or forgot something then I would get hit, something thrown at me, or I myself would get thrown. We did all three get taken a total of 3 times we went back the first 2 times.
Each time it got worse everything did. The 3rd time we got adopted to a wonderful family not because she just let it happen she still put us through hell as she would leave for a total of 6 months and pop her head back in. The state I was living in at the time you have seven months to appear or they take your parents rights away.
She did this over the four years that I was in the care of this family it took four years for the court to finally have enough. I cut all contact with my mom. I found out I was pregnant when I was 6 weeks along I told everyone in my family but her I made it a point to ask them not to tell her and they agreed.
I’m close with one of my cousins I call them everyday. I eventually start to show and can’t hide it I video call my cousin, she is sometimes there, she saw my belly under my hoodie as I was far enough along that you can see it through clothes yes the hoodie was baggy.
She did poke fun and say I was getting bigger and that I should lose weight I was used to her saying things like this because of the past. She got closer to the camera and asked me to turn to the side, I complied I turned to the side and sucked as in as far as possible to try to hid my belly she asked me to pull up my hoodie I had an excuse saying I wasn’t wearing anything underneath she said “it’s nothing I haven’t seen before” I pulled it up and it genuinely looked like I wasn’t pregnant at all I was 20 weeks pregnant at the time.
My cousin was taking my side the whole time and just said no she’s healthy, my mom asked if I was pregnant I said no so did my cousin, this is where I might be the TA she then said “let me find out little girl” (I’m 20f) this through me over into panic mode as this was something she would say when she was mad and was going to abuse me, I panicked and said “yeah I’m 20 weeks I’m over 3000 miles away from you, you can’t touch me.” My cousin things I shouldn’t have said that and just left it alone because she dropped it.
She later said over the phone where me, my boyfriend, cousin, and my cousins boyfriend could hear she said I wasn’t her daughter anymore and to never talk to her again. I said okay and hung up. She later comments saying that she wishes that her daughter would let her be there and support her. There will have to be a second post I’m sorry.

Hi folks!
So basically, after enjoying my summer off after Alevels and 2 years at uni of smoking, drinking and eating on a budget/badly, I have increased in weight from my lowest of 72ish kg to a highest of 99.1kg (weighed after eating in fairness), so most likely around 97/98kg. - To note, I initially lost the weight to get to 72 from my former highest of 85kg, upsetting but that’s my own fault!
My worry is however, I may get loose skin now I am on my weight loss grind. I am 20 years old and I am around 5’8. Is it a likelihood, or since I am youngecome to terms that I will aim for 1kg loss per week it may not be an issue?
Furthermore, I just have a few questions that I would appreciate advice on:
(1) Should I ‘eat back’ the calories burned in exercising? I have aimed for 10k steps per day, but surely in a deficit this will increase my deficit too much?
(2) Are protein shakes any good in my situation, or is that for further down the line?
(3) I imagine I won’t be able to get back to the gym until September, will this be an issue or will I need to begin focusing on building muscle? If so, when?
I’m sorry if I seem uneducated, I am doing my research (probably as you read this!), however it is nice to hear from you guys and maybe get some advice from those who know more on my exact situation.

I thought I did because that lifestyle was all I knew, but I didn’t.
Throughout my late twenties I had occasional one night stands. I was still an extremely active father, I stayed up all night while Nikki could sleep, I did most of the driving to appointments because my work is flexible, and I tried to spoil the heck out of them. I told myself I could be a good dad without being in love with their mom.
2 years ago, I met molly. And I knew she was the one. We carried on our affair until last august when I asked Nikki for a divorce. She did not want to. Our families didn’t want us to. She recommended counseling, and I just wanted out. I told her about the affair with Molly. I’m going to spare the gruesome details but she ended up being up for the divorce.
Another important note is that Nikki’s best friend’s name is Molly who the kids know very well. This will come in later. Molly and I moved in together in April. I see my kids as much as I can, but they’ve only met Molly twice. I didn’t want to push her on them out of respect to Nikki.
They’ve were over all last weekend. We’ve been having a great time, but then they asked me a question about “bad Molly”. They asked why is she bad. I asked why they think she’s bad and they said Nikki tells them her friend Molly is good molly and my Molly is bad Molly. They’ve also snickered at her and made “eww bad molly” comments since.
I sat them down and told them that mommy doesn’t like all the fun we have together. I told them that Molly likes fun and mommy doesn’t like fun so that’s why she calls her bad Molly.

So, a rough summary of what I'd like out of this deck. I really enjoy green for the ramp and big creatures, and really enjoy [[Omnath, Locus of Mana]] in a deck based around making him enormous. My main issue is that my local meta is VERY light on removal. Playing a "Remove this soon or it'll win" commander has gotten a bit old, since well... usually it doesn't get removed. I feel uncomfortable bringing up the old "actually, this deck is pretty weak if you just have removal," especially since my decks trend slightly higher than average power. My decks are pretty budget, but because I include a lot of typical staples and don't cut all the ramp out of my deck, they do win a fair bit. I wanted to get something a bit more low profile, and I figured changeling/clone shenanigans might be an interesting way to have a high value commander who doesn't scream for removal immediately. I wanted to lean into snow because it's a pretty obscure theme, and both of my current decks (Omnath + [[Jodah, the Unifier]] are sort of just cheap and obvious staples slapped together without any cohesiveness. Overall, I'd like to keep the "Snow Matters" stuff in, as well as the elemental tribal stuff. I don't really know if I need that much graveyard manipulation, especially since some of the cards included for that part of the deck to work are a bit expensive, but I'd like to take the deck into a direction where I'm interacting with my graveyard a lot.
Price range is about where it is right now, though there's a couple cards I could cut for something a bit cheaper. I don't really want to spend more than $10 on any single card. Probably don't want to add more than $20 to this total.
Last side note, preference to anything that is actually from Kaldheim or just looks/feels cohesive with that, since I do want this deck to actually feel like a theme deck.

If you haven’t heard of this guy, check out his album Ultra Vega, released in 2000. There are some definite GBV influences on the album and his name is apparently mentioned in the liner notes of several GBV/Pollard albums, although I haven’t taken the time to confirm that yet. Great power pop with a touch of lo-fi weirdness. Oh, and he’s from Dayton.

I was pleasantly surprised to learn of the (unannounced, per release notes) increased virtue XP gain when using a higher landscape difficulty.
Landscape Difficulty
This is literally the only current benefit that would make me consider increasing the difficulty. No disrespect intended for those who simply want more of a challenge, but my play time is severely limited (16 year lifetimer with two characters just entering Moria).
But a capped 5% increase (free level every 20 levels) is pretty pathetic. Why not make it scale to the same 20% cap as XP (free level every 5 levels), or at least 10% (free level every 10 levels)?

Hello, first of all I want to say thank you so much for all the love and kindness from so many people all over the world. This really shows that there are much more good people in this world than bad and thank you so much for all the advices you have given me. It surely helped me a lot. You guys have pointed out many important things in the comments and I am here to answer all of those.
I know a lot of you guys absolutely hate my husband and I can fully understand why. I would have had the same reaction if I was in your shoes. You guys have asked why I think my husband is amazing. Well, maybe amazing is a bit of an overstatement. But I still believe he is a good person. He has always tried to be there for my kids. He is very kind, innocent and humble, and always thinks about everyone. And he personally has never hurt me or my kids. It's just that he is extremely weak when it comes to his mother. Very very weak. He just can't separate himself from his mother. It's like he is entangled deep inside his mother's illicit web of lies and scrutiny. His situation is extremely strange to understand. Even I can't. It's not like he loves his mother too much that he can't see through her veil of lies. He often says to me how terrible she is to treat me like this. That she is trying to wreck our family. But he also says, that he can't leave her. He just can't do it. He is just too weak to stand up for his family in front of MIL. Even if sometimes he tries to stand up to her, my MIL would start crying and guilt trapping him, saying stuff like how he is being a bad son, and that he doesnt love his mama. And that he is disrespecting his own blood for some other woman. And he would then immediately back off. You won't believe it, but a few years back my husband got a massive promotion. It came with a massive salary, and his dream work. But we had to move to a big city for this. He was extremely excited, and so was me and our kids. But my MIL said that she won't leave this house. She started crying (again), saying how she can't survive without him and to not leave her alone. And guess what my husband did next. He refused the promotion. I was extremely devastated, as it was a lot of money which would have helped our family and our children's college education. Not to mention how my husband always said it was his dream job. But MIL won again.
Let me tell you my husband is scared of me leaving him. He cannot function at all without me. He can't cook, doesn't clean or do any household chores. I do all the job including tutoring my kids. He only does the grocery shopping from time to time. My husband sometimes jokingly says that if I ever leave him this entire house will fall apart, and that he will have to hire 10 guys to do the job I do for this family.
I saw a few of you have said that maybe my MIL was abused during her marriage. Let me tell you, you are 100% wrong. My MIL never lived with her own MIL , and practically forced my FIL to get a separate house for her. I have heard from my neigbours and relatives that my FIL was an incredible human being. Extremely kind, innocent, humble, loved and cared for everyone, and never so much as raised his voice on anyone. He even paid for so many of his nephew and nieces college education without ever asking for anything in return. I never got to meet him as he died 3 years before my marriage. But my relatives would say how my MIL practically dominated over my innocent FIL and their marriage, so much so that he couldn't even do anything without taking her permission. My FIL's sister told me how my MIL practically destroyed my FIL. I have realized my MIL is just a narcissist who likes to assert dominace over other people.
Also, another thing, my neighbours and all my relatives absolutely hate my MIL and her attitude. But they love me a lot. For every occasion me, my husband and my kids are always graciously invited. Even my son's girlfriend is invited sometimes.But she isn't. I once asked them why. They said how my MIL has been a raging bitch her whole life and that they are tired of her, and don't want her negativity and narcissism in their happy occasions.
Let me tell you another thing, if we kick my MIL out of the house, she really doesn't have anywhere else to go. None of our relatives like her. And her precious daughter's (my SIL) family doesn't like her either. Especially my BIL. My BIL is like an older brother to me and has always treated me like his sister. He has seen the abuse I have faced from my MIL and he absolutely despise her. So yeah she can't even go live anywhere else if we kick her out. It's crazy to think that she tries to destroy the only house and family where she is allowed to live and given so much respect. And now she is not even allowed here. Karma's a bitch.
I know a lot of you guys are concerned for my kids and rightfully so. And I thank you for all the advices. I know I should have taken firmer steps , but I was absolutely helpless. I was kind of always told to compromise and just put up with it. And don't worry my kids are fine. They know very well , even my 11 year old daughter that what MIL did to me and to this family is absolutely wrong and disgusting. And I have taught them to always stand up for themselves and to never let anyone walk over them. And they are really smart kids so don't worry they will be fine.
Although, I am a little bit concerned for my son. He has developed a temper. I will tell you why. A few years ago, I received a call from his school telling me that my son has beaten the hell out of a kid in his class. He practically broken his tooth off. I came to know that the kid had said something jokingly about me and my son practically went full rage mode on him. When I asked around his friends regarding this, I realised that it wasn't even anything serious. It's just guys horsing around, talking about each other's mother's. You know kind of like the yo mama jokes on the internet. Nothing serious. Just typical guy stuff. His friends said how they always used to make this kind of jokes, including my son. But this time he was different. They also said how my son has developed a temper and gets irritated very quickly. They are very concerned about him. Thankfully his friends convinced the kid to not press charges against my son. I wanted to get to the middle of this. So one day when no one else was home i sat down my son and asked him to open up to me and tell me why he did what he did. Initially he was hesitant. But after convincing him for a bit he broke down crying saying, how he always witnessed firsthand the abuse and neglect I faced in the house. And that he hated himself for not being able to protect me and keep me safe. I realised that he has now subconsciously became very vulnerable and protective of me. I told him that I appreciate the concern but violence is not the answer and that's not how I raised him. He said to me that he hated beating up that kid. I made him promise me that he will never do anything like this ever again. He told me that he also hated that his father didn't protect me and now he has developed an absolute hatred towards his dad. I am extremely concerned about this, i don't want him to hate his own father. I told him it's my job to protect him not the other way around. Although I am proud that he noticed. But I am definitely getting him into therapy once he finishes college. But don't worry guys he is getting better. Also my son studies in a really good college. He has told me that once he finishes college and get a job he will buy a nice apartment and me and her sister can come live with him. I told him that I would absolutely love that.
About the Ultimatum :- So when I gave my husband the ultimatum he got extremely sad. He told me countless times to change my mind. He even told me to just put up with my MIL until she dies ( which could be in 10 , 20 years or more). But this time I didn't budge. I have told him that I waited 21 years for him to take initiative, but he didn't. So now it's time for me to put my foot down for the sake of my children. I have told him that I will take my kids and go to my parents' house if he doesn't fullfill the ultimatum. He obviously doesn't want that as he can't function without me.
My son lives in a different state for college but he has come home recently due to the summer vacation. One after noon me and my husband were arguing about this ultimatum, he told me that it's really difficult for him to choose like this. My son heard this and suddenly barged into the room and started yelling at his dad. Practically shouting. He called him a worthless, spineless moron who can't protect his wife and his family. He said and I quote, 'You are an absolute weak and pathetic man, you don't have the balls to protect your wife, who does everything for you. You don't have the guts to protect your family , you are the kind of person who should have never became a husband or a parent'. At this point my heart was breaking , I didn't want my son and his dad's relationship to break like that. Not to mention my husband was absolutely scared of him. He is 5'6" and my son is 6'2"(he gets the height from my side of the family). Now, my husband has finally agreed to buy an apartment. I told him that I would take my kids and live there. To which my son looked at me (he was still fuming with rage) and told me, 'There is no way in hell you are leaving this house. This house belongs to you more than anyone. For 21 years you have loved and cared for this house and this family. If anyone's gonna leave, it's gonna be your evil MIL, as she is the one responsible for the abuse and breaking up the family'.
At this point my MIL came into the room and heard everything ( she didn't knew about the ultimatum). She got angry and said how dare I even think of kicking her out of her own house. To which my son stepped up and said, ' If you ever talk to my mother like that, try to disrespect her, even so much as raise your voice against her, I will kick you out of this house and throw you into the street myself. I don't care what anybody thinks, no one can stop me. You are lucky we are putting you into an apartment, cause if it was upto me , I will put you in an adult home'. After this my MIL is pretty much terrified of my son. She has finally realized she can't manipulate anyone anymore. Although as a last hail mary, my MIL started calling all of her relatives saying how I am a terrible person and is kicking her out of her own house. Funny thing is, those same relatives would later call me , congratulating me and telling me that I did the right thing and that I should have done it sooner. Even my neighbours are really happy about this.
Final note :- So me and my husband went apartment hunting the other day, it will be a 1BHK apartment with an attached bathroom. Her own kitchen where she can cook herself. My husband is obviously not too thrilled about this but it doesnt matter anymore. She will be moving her ass out of the house by the end of July. Freedom finally.
PS :- But even after all this I still never received an apology from her. Not that it will change anything. She still remains her usual stubborn self. She doesn't talk to me anymore, or my kids. Which is for the better I guess. She has tried to manipulate my husband by crying and sobbing but that didn't change anything, my son made sure of that.
