Ngayong umaga, tinapon ni mama yung paper bag na galing sa kwarto ko na may mga gamit ko na akala niya "basura." Contents? Almost everything from my work bag from last night. Charger, ribbon sash na nagguest ako sa school, cardholder that has my credit card, payroll atm debit card, driver's license, rewards card, and another ID in it. Sinisisi niya pa ako na um-"oo" ako na pwede nang itapon kaya niya tinapon.
Earlier that morning, mulat na ako pero wala pa sa ulirat. Nakahiga lang. Nakikita ko si mama naglilinis sa kwarto ko. Nagtanong sya if pwede na itapon yung basura. Umoo ako. Later, bumangon na ko kasi nagutom na ako at kelangan ko na magcharge. Dun ko na hinanap yung paper bag na nakasabit lang sa post ng kama ko kasi andun charger ko. Tinapon daw ni mama yun. Sabi ko "Bakit?!?!" Kasi pumayag daw ako. Eh ang tinutukoy kong basura na sinabi ko pa sa kanya ay yung basurahan kasi nagpunas ako ng wiwi ng aso at dun ko tinapon ung tissue kagabi kako. Kamalasmalasan pa, pinick up na ang basura sa labas. Namisunderstood namin isat isa kung aling basura ha, pero kasi di niya rin pinakita yung sinasabi niyang "basura."
Nagtalo pa kami saglit ng nanay ko. Pinanghahawakan niya yung oo. Sabi ko naman.. Kwarto ko yun eh tsaka wala pa ako sa ulirat. Kwarto ko yun, kung ano man kalat dun, di niya na dapat pinakealaman at saka, di naman mukang katapon-tapon yung laman ng bag, bakit di niya ugali magcheck ng laman na tinatapon niya? Knowing na akin pa yun. Then tinry nya mag ask help sa HOA at nakitawag sa city dump landline. Iniwan na niya ako sa bahay. Pumunta naman si mama at partner niya kanina sa dump site para abangan yung truck. As for me, cinontact ko na yung banks ko to block my cards.
Bakit nasa paper bag valuables ko? Kagabi kasi my volleyball game ako. Wala naman akong kasama para magbantay ng bag kaya tinaktak ko na sa maayos na paper bag sa kwarto ko ang mga gamit. Nagmamadali na rin kasi at ayokong umuwi ulit at humilata na andami ko pang itatabing mga kung anik anik sa kama ko. Sinabit ko sa poste ng bed ko ung paper bag.
Bakit ako stressed? I never thought I would lost IDs at sa bahay pa. I've never lost any of my valid IDs EVER. Working 12-hour shifts, ayoko na mapagod pa sa gantong bagay, pero wala. Kelangan ko pa mag-asikaso ng affidavit of loss, getting another ID and cards.
Good thing wala akong pera doon. Walang cash si ati niu girl. Naawa naman din ako kay mama na nakihalungkat din siya sa dump site at naiyak pala siya. Inalok ko ng yakap nang magsorry siya nung umuwi. Ayaw muna niya magpayakap kasi mabaho raw siya. Binigyan niya naman ako 1k pang asikaso ng drivers ko.
Moral of the Story: Wag magtapon nang magtapon ng gamit lalo na kung di mo yun gamit. Wag pakialamera!

I'm a transfer student coming from the east coast, and I want to try and make friends actually in this state! I'm going to try my best to join a club, but, I'd much rather start with making just one friend.
A little about me: I'm a female, 23, and I'm an Education major. I used to be Music Education, so I enjoy playing instruments. (I know guitar, piano, drums and clarinet.) I spend the majority of my free time with my birds, playing DND (I have two virtual campaigns going on, but I am TOTALLY down for my first in-person one) and being very mediocre at PC games.

I dated my high school boyfriend for 4 years. My mom and dad were married at the time but weren’t happy, and it was very clear to everyone who saw them. They both had issues at the time, it happens.
So I start dating my boyfriend back in 2017 and about 6 months/1 year into us dating my mom and my then boyfriends dad meet through us. Apparently they hit it off. To make this not a very long story, my mom cheated on my dad for about a year or two with my boyfriends dad. We all had suspicions and she didn’t really hide it very well but that’s what lead to their divorce. He is not the best person either. He has money issues and control issues and tends to yell a lot. He’s also my then boyfriends dad. There was so much tension for years between my mom and I. I wouldn’t go near her or my then boyfriends dad. I broke up with that boyfriend about a year ago and my mom and I’s relationship is slowly getting better but I still will not be seen in a room if her boyfriend is there. She seems to think it’s ridiculous but it brings back awful memories of my parents divorce and all the tension between me and my ex boyfriend before we broke up. I don’t know if I could ever be in a room with him let alone talk to my moms boyfriend. The only thing I’m worried about is big life events happening in the coming years (weddings, babies, my future children having my ex boyfriend as their “uncle” if my mom and her boyfriend get married, etc.)
I guess my question is, am I being unreasonable for how I’m acting with him. Maybe someone can talk some sense into me if I am being unreasonable but everyone (except my mom) seems to be on my side of things considering I have so many things tied to their relationship and it’s just so freaking weird to me! I can’t get over it!

The new operation, operation overlord, might’ve been a bit too ambitious from easytech in challenging veteran players.
Playing on easy difficulty (haven’t even made it to medium or hard difficulty yet). Made it past Normandy, Paris, and Bastogne with ease, no issue at all. Then I hit the f…ing Berlin Wall.
Between Hartmann and Goring, they nuke the everloving heck out of you. Doesn’t matter if I avoid putting my generals in cities or not and doesn’t make a difference if I add a little air defense on a general cause Hartmann will go right through it.
I took Nuremberg for level 4 industry so I had Marshall Manstein with a lvl 3 legion medal (+90 hp) in super tank, Marshall Guderian in super tank, Marshall 5 star Armor EC with lvl 3 legion medal plus lvl 4 camoflauge and lvl 4 shelter expert (as well as other armor skills), Marshall 5 star Artillery EC with lvl 4 ace commander (and other artillery skills), Marshall Govorov with lvl 3 legion medal, and my Marshall 5 star air EC. Well over 2500 hit points. Tons of durability and damage related skills and all 5 stars in their respective categories and have lvl 4 medals on them (some have lvl 3 legion medal but rest are pretty much lvl 4 rn).
Despite this, the generals I initially set (Manstein in super tank, EC artillery in rocket artillery, and Govorov in field artillery) are all less than 1/4 health by the start of round 4 due to excessive air attacks. Enemies don’t focus me quite as much then, but as soon as I get through Munich and Nuremberg they immediately start targeting those cities. When I try to spawn Guderian, Armor EC, or Air EC, they are all 1/3 hp or less by the start of the next turn (even Marshall Armor EC in super tank with Nuremberg’s air defense as well as lvl 3 legion medal, lvl 4 defense medal, lvl 4 shelter expert, and lvl 4 camoflauge who I tried to build as a bullet sponge type of general). I expect those generals to be weakened a bit before I get to use them, but I usually lose like 30-40% hp in other campaigns/conquests, not 70+%. I also usually leave or spawn an infantry or armored car in the cities I take, but Goring’s attacks are strong enough to kill and paratroop the city in the same turn so I have to turn back around and retake them. And yes I have infantry, armor, and artillery all maxed out in the tech upgrades.
I’ve tried focusing cities with strong air generals (Nuremberg then straight to Berlin and vice versa). I’ve tried isolating and focusing one enemy general at a time. I’ve tried just slowly taking my time from South upwards. Nothing works. I could maybe do it with 30 turns, but 20 isn’t enough. Enemy generals have tons of high level defense and legion medals on them and get to hide in ridiculously strong cities.
I mean seriously, why does Goring get 667 hp on a rocket artillery in Berlin with lvl 4 missile air defense and lvl 3 blindage while also being surround by wielding, a couple super tanks, and tons of rocket artillery, field artillery, and heavy tanks all of which have boosted hp and stats ON EASY MODE?!?!?
Best I could do before time was up was get every city except Hamburg and Berlin, and even then I barely put a dent in either of those. Plus Goring was still 3/4 hp (483) in Berlin, enemy Manstein was still alive roaming with half hp (312), and enemy Guderian was still alive in Hamburg with full hp (517).
My space laser thing is still pretty low on upgrades (every 7 turns with 115 damage) so that plays a factor. But still…. Berlin is dang near impossible.
Would love some tips or to see a walkthrough on it cause I’ve never struggled anywhere near this much in this game in the past.

(m15) I have been playing street hockey/roller hockey for most my life and played drop in ice hockey occasionally. I signed up for a hockey last summer and finished my first ice hockey season 3 months ago . But Im not the best skater and I'm doing power skating right now. I signed up for the hockey academy at my school the coach wants to see me do a few drills and skate around this wensday and I'm pretty nervous that I'm going to mess up on the drills and embarrass myself. the mixed skill levels is house league to whl prospects. TOPIC - CW: School Bullying, Education Neglect.
So I have ADHD and Autism.I didn't receive any of the big bads, as far as I know. Aside from maybe smacks as a kid, but nothing more than that. Which isn't good of course, but that is beyond the scope of the question I wish to ask.
I personally experienced a lot of bullying and mistreatment at school. I did poorly since I basically flunked the whole way through since I was practically always overwhelmed. And I got bullied quite a bit and my sense of self has been greatly shaped by those experiences.
Unfortunately I seem to be Alexithymic and have poor introspection due to Autism. So I don't really have a good understanding of my self and feelings.
At my last session with my councillor I mentioned how I was bullied and education failed me, in written form since I thought it was a better way to convey my thoughts. I mentioned it being a kind of truama.
And they asked me something like:
"Do you get flashbacks or anything that feels like you are reliving it?"
I said: "Oh nothing like that..."
But ever since... I have had the question pop up in my mind occasionally.
What is a flashback? What does the experience feel like? And how do I tell?
And undoubtedly that is an important. Since, my councillor specialises in Autism. But also... PTSD and Depression. So I think they could help. I think I dismissed their questions just because I never really considered it before.
I think I have a fundimental misconception about what experiencing it is?
But when ever I start to talk or think about school all of my memories just wash over me and feel like a tidal wave of life bashes against my shores.
I don't actually know the feeling I feel in that moment.
But I feel very very something. Like when others talk about CPTSD it kinda sounds really vivid and part of me thought that relive it was a literal understandjng of the term. Like life flash before your eyes kinda thing.
But I have always been raised to understate my own lived experiences and to treat my problems as less valid. This is something I am trying to work on, its slightly better now, however, sometimes it comes around especially with.
No CPTSD is good. But if it's none of the big bads, I feel like I would just end up beating myself up for not having more serious problems. But none the less on a way I do feel like my life has been robbed from my by my experiences. But from this a phoneix rises from the ashes of my old self and I end up turning onto an ideological crusader. Since that is the only coping mechanism that seems to work and is probably the best place to direct my disgruntlement in my views.
I don't know if I have CPTSD, but I would love to ask my councillor about it. But to do that I would just like to know how I even go about analysing myself. To determine if they are flashbacks or not.
I do actually have something to add relating to this. In late primary school. There is this particular corner which is by this tree, this corner is kinda hidden away from everything and was just where I would go in recess and lunch just to... Cry, and just emotionally decompress a bit. And I do in fact belive that I can kinda imagine that as the closest thing to a literal flashback. Actually now that I think about that, there are more things like this. They are very vague, but it's like almost like a vague image of a place, plus feelings?
I would go over them. But I think I should spare them for my councillor? Are they just bad memories? Idk, all I know is that these thoughts have me dumbstruck at the moment.
I might be answering my own question at this point, but I would like to have other peoples wisdom on the matter.

In late April, I went on vacation to San Juan, Puerto Rico for my birthday, with no intentions of meeting someone. I’d be lying if I said that was my goal of the trip. I went with the sole intention to have fun with my childhood best friend.
One of the nights, we went out to the club and had a really good time. That’s when a tall, tan, Italian man came up to me and we started dancing and talking. It was like we had met before and picked up where we last left off, except this was our first time meeting. We instantly clicked and it just felt right. He thought I only spoke Spanish so for the first 30ish minutes of us speaking/dancing, he was trying his best to flirt in Spanish until we both died laughing when he found out I also spoke Englis. The night we met, we even took pictures together and those pictures look like we’d been together for years. It was like my soul knew him? I didn’t remember at the time but, he got my number and we’ve been talking NON-STOP ever since. We text and call each other on our lunches/during dinner, any chance we get. We are so similar, it’s incredibly insane. I feel so comfortable with him and I’m constantly having to remind myself, I ONLY MET HIM A MONTH AGO.
(He lives in New York, i live in New Mexico, 1.237 miles apart)
WELL- last week, while on the phone, he joking asked me to visit him in NYC for memorial weekend, and would pay for my flight. I said eff it and booked my trip because although I felt a lil crush developing I didn’t think it’d go further than that. I also hoped he wouldn’t murder me as I’m a 5’1 woman, and he’s 6’1, over 200 pounds.
He surprised me at the airport, showed me around NYC, took me to the top of the Empire State Building, made me laugh non-stop and we just completely hit it off in every way possible. It just feels right to be with him. It feels passionate and incredibly intense.
My feelings are extremely intense now. All of this to say, I feel really confused because I think it’s way to soon to feel this STRONGLY about someone I literally met a month ago. While in NYC, we instantly broke the ice and acted like we had been together for YEARS. We flirted, held hands, kissed and were very romantic with each other because leading up to the impromptu trip, we discussed everything under the sun on the phone. I know it’s so soon to say but something in my heart tells me he might be my person. I’ve never ever ever, had such strong feelings for someone like this, this fast. I’m usually EXTREMELY guarded and don’t let my walls down, but he broke through them within WEEKS. He keeps me on my toes and makes me feel free. I’ve never thought about seriously getting married and having kids with someone and being with him the week in NYC, made me contemplate that in THE FUTURE with him- WHICH IS NUTS TO SAY!!!! Something in my soul just tells me this feels right BUT ITS SCARY!!! I feel like I’m living a 2000’s romcom plot.

One of the nights, we went out to the club and had a really good time. That’s when a tall, tan, Italian man came up to me and we started dancing and talking. It was like we had met before and picked up where we last left off, except this was our first time meeting. We instantly clicked and it just felt right. He thought I only spoke Spanish so for the first 30ish minutes of us speaking/dancing, he was trying his best to flirt in Spanish until we both died laughing when he found out I also spoke Englis. The night we met, we even took pictures together and those pictures look like we’d been together for years. It was like my soul knew him? I didn’t remember at the time but, he got my number and we’ve been talking NON-STOP ever since. We text and call each other on our lunches/during dinner, any chance we get. We are so similar, it’s incredibly insane. I feel so comfortable with him and I’m constantly having to remind myself, I ONLY MET HIM A MONTH AGO.

WELL- last week, while on the phone, he joking asked me to visit him in NYC for memorial weekend, and would pay for my flight. I said eff it and booked my trip because although I felt a lil crush developing I didn’t think it’d go further than that. I also hoped he wouldn’t murder me as I’m a 5’1 woman, and he’s 6’1, over 200 pounds.
He surprised me at the airport, showed me around NYC, took me to the top of the Empire State Building, made me laugh non-stop and we just completely hit it off in every way possible. It just feels right to be with him. It feels passionate and incredibly intense.
My feelings are extremely intense now. All of this to say, I feel really confused because I think it’s way to soon to feel this STRONGLY about someone I literally met a month ago. While in NYC, we instantly broke the ice and acted like we had been together for YEARS. We flirted, held hands, kissed and were very romantic with each other because leading up to the impromptu trip, we discussed everything under the sun on the phone. I know it’s so soon to say but something in my heart tells me he might be my person. I’ve never ever ever, had such strong feelings for someone like this, this fast. I’m usually EXTREMELY guarded and don’t let my walls down, but he broke through them within WEEKS. He keeps me on my toes and makes me feel free. I’ve never thought about seriously getting married and having kids with someone and being with him the week in NYC, made me contemplate that in THE FUTURE with him- WHICH IS NUTS TO SAY!!!! Something in my soul just tells me this feels right BUT ITS SCARY!!! I feel like I’m living a 2000’s romcom plot.

Hey! So my best friend and I both applied and both got our first choice of Madrid! But we just got our school placements and they are opposite sides of madrid and the commute between them and even if we got a place to live at in the middle is a terrible commute. After we recieved Madrid we sent a message out to whom it concerned saying that we were traveling together & wanted to be placed in somewhat close vicinity. All this being said- what should we do? We wanted to live together and understood the risk with that when applying but there has to be something we can say to someone to have one of us move schools, we don’t want to live separately and far apart in a new country. Any advice helps thanks!

2023.06.04 05:03 Laz_Zack Games you may enjoy if you liked Fear and Hunger 1 & 2
Some games (and other media) I interacted with that have similar themes and atmosphere with a brief (spoiler-free) description of the game and what aspects of it reminded me the most of F&H (spoiler free of course), I'll stick to games I played but if you have any other recommendations feel free to share, I recommend playing all the games here blind. I might add more if I remember them. Beware that some of the games and media here have themes of Sexual Assault and other Dark topics (some more implicit and some more explicit).
Corpse Party: Blood Covered: Atmosphere and some Themes primarily. Essentially a visual novel with RPG Maker Horror game exploration (original game was an RPG Maker game, but I recommend playing this one before playing original due to original spoiling some story-aspects that may detract from certain reveals here since this is a reboot of sorts with a more developed story) with light puzzle-solving and a focus on making decisions that can lead to a brutal end to your characters (no combat here), Voice Acting and Soundtrack are amazing and Atmosphere is genuinely oppressive as hell, very few games made me feel this powerless, warning though there is some fanservice revolving around the characters and considering they are high-schoolers that is rather uncomfortable so beware of that (specially when it comes to Yuka, those that played the game know).
2021 version is probably the best, but I don't like the screen clutter on that version so 3DS and PSP are also good options, if you enjoy it check out Corpse Party Rebuilt (a faithful remake of the original version) and Book of Shadows (a follow-up that focus on what-if scenarios and prequel chapters), the other entries I didn't like as much.
Pathologic: Atmosphere, Themes and Gameplay. Haven't finished this one, I'm in the middle of the second route, but I can really easily recommend this, beware that the game is very much not fun, but it is a great game, Atmosphere is great, Story is intriguing with you not knowing you can and can't trust, you can easily mess up side quests and even the main quest if you pick bad answers (and you can also finish some quests in multiple ways), combat is clunky and disincentivized, you have to manage your hunger, immunity, exhaustion and time while walking slow as sin to try and finish things before the day ends, and that is not accounting for other things trying to kill you dead, gets more manageable with knowledge and planning just like F&H.
Check the keybindings there are some important hotkeys the games doesn't tell you about that will make things more manageable, by the way you can trade with kids to get drugs and bullets, you'll thank my later for that, play Pathologic HD on Steam, original has a strange translation.
Demon's Souls and Dark Souls series: Dark Fantasy, Atmosphere and Challenge. Great series, interesting story that you have to piece together, Atmosphere is on-point, Combat is challenging and rewarding, word is falling apart, people are dying, and everything is going to shit, fairly depressing and frustrating and even when you defeat great foes you never fell like your victory meant much in the grand schemes of things (at least that is how I felt), Funger 1 specially has a bit of that Dark Souls lineage to it, which is interesting since I've seen some DS fans become Funger fans, check out King's Field series the spiritual predecessor of sorts if you are into some clunk (I know I am), the pre-Souls From Software catalog also deserves love.
Amnesia: The Dark Descent: Atmosphere and Themes primarily. Interesting story with a lot of dark themes that explore horrors both Cosmic and Human, Atmosphere is oppresive and makes you feel small, it was from a time where "Stalker Horror" (where you can't fight back and only run and hide) was more novel and not oversaturated like it kind of is now, rewards paying attetion to notes and dialogue to understand the full scope of what is going on, not much in terms of emergent gameplay and choice making outside of the endings since it is a fairly linear experience, Justine is a cool DLC and a Machine for Pigs is fine but doens't care the same vibe and it is also more walking simulator-esque, haven't played Rebirth.
If you enjoy it I recommend the Penumbra series and Soma, from the same devs, Penumbra is more similar to Amnesia but set in modern time while Soma is more futuristic with a bigger focus on existential horror over a Cosmic one.
Silent Hill 1-4: Survival Horror Gameplay, Atmosphere and some Themes. Termina is obviously very inspired by it, if you enjoy the different take on God-hood that Funger has you'll probably find the occult aspects of the Silent Hill, and even outside that there is a lot of macabre imagery for you to savor, Atmosphere is oppressive and relentless, you are playing as just an average Joe in a really terrible situation fighting against horrible odds, if you enjoyed the depth the characters of Funger has you'll definitely enjoy the character of the Silent Hill series, a lot of human tragedy amidst all the horror just like Funger, gameplay is focused on managing your health and resources like healing items and bullets, no meters here.
If you enjoyed them I recommend playing Shattered Memories, it is a cool game, the less I say about it the better, I didn't enjoy the post-Team Silent games as much, though they have some cool things going for them.
Haunting Grounds: Atmosphere and Themes. More of loose recommendation, game made me feel like a piece of meat, an object to be used and abused for the ends of people that don't really care for my safety, Womanhood as horror is a big theme on this game, so it will probably resonate with you even more if you are a Woman, I specially enjoyed how Alchemy was a big aspect of the Lore, even with the reveals a lot of things are left up to interpretation, "Stalker Horror" with light combat (you can surprisingly fight back with certain options, but the game doesn't lend you tools for that on a silver platter, and it is only a temporary solution).
The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask: Atmosphere and Themes of Death and Hopelessness. Another looser recommendation, inspired Termina in some aspects, the game is surprisingly dark and depressing especially if you go out of your way to do side quests and interact with the NPCs around the world, Death and Existential dread is a reoccurring aspect of the game, Three-day time limit can be really stressful, better to experience it for yourself, there are some references to the previous game Ocarina of Time so beware of that.
Berserker: Read The Manga if you want to trace the lineage of Funger, the series is heavily inspired by it, Dark Fantasy on a Crapsack World full of misery and tragedy (reductive I know but I'm trying to keep this spoiler free).
Hellraiser 1 and 2: Explores themes of pain and pleasure and otherworldly, Eldritch beings that live on a different plane than ours, the Cube of the Depths reminds me of the Lament Configuration, Funger has references to it.
Perfect Blue: Doesn't have much to do with Funger but it is a great movie that you should watch anyway, while you are it play Sonic 3 & Knuckles and Final Fantasy XII, some of my favorites games (ok this last one is a jest but I do genuinely recommend Perfect Blue if you like being mind-fucked).

When I was 13 my parents got divorced and I discovered porn as a way to numb and disappear from life. It became a horrible habit that was actively in my life until I was 25. That was when I went through a divorce and started going to therapy. Porn was happening when I was married, and I know it affected how I acted too, but it wasn’t the cause of the divorce.
Long story short, after starting therapy I finally have been able to get the tools to learn how to deal with difficult times in a better way and have been very open about how much it damaged my life. I’ve acted out a couple of times in the past five years, and know it’s something that will always be in the back of the mind, but it’s also been about a year and a half since the last time and I have completely changed the way I live and feel great about it.
Fast forward to yesterday. The girl I’ve been going out with for two months (as of yesterday) asked me if I’ve ever looked at or struggled with porn. This is something I do like to talk about before getting too serious, but she has been a slow mover with relationships and we aren’t in an official relationship still, so I was waiting a little bit longer to see if things were progressing to that level. I answered honestly, told her my past and how it’s been over a year now and never want it in my life again, and we had a long talk about it. It terrified her, and she then said that since she’s the one who asked she doesn’t even know if she can believe that I would have told her if she didn’t. Since my divorce I always have shared with any relationship I’ve been in, but I also am a believer that the level of sharing comes with the level of commitment and trust and not to share everything with everyone, so I was waiting a little longer since we hadn’t even labeled ourselves as exclusive. I’m kicking myself now.
She’s hurting badly, and I’m hurting knowing that she’s hurting because she feels like I was trying to hide it. And her feelings are valid and I don’t want them discounted.
More than anything I’m upset because this whole relationship I’ve been so honest with everything in my past, including things about past relationships, and it’s been in conversations where she’s asked questions and I’ve been blunt and honest, and she’s really appreciated it. Long story short, after starting therapy I finally have been able to get the tools to learn how to deal with difficult times in a better way and have been very open about how much it damaged my life. I’ve acted out a couple of times in the past five years, and know it’s something that will always be in the back of the mind, but it’s also been about a year and a half since the last time and I have completely changed the way I live and feel great about it.
Fast forward to yesterday. The girl I’ve been going out with for two months (as of yesterday) asked me if I’ve ever looked at or struggled with porn. This is something I do like to talk about before getting too serious, but she has been a slow mover with relationships and we aren’t in an official relationship still, so I was waiting a little bit longer to see if things were progressing to that level. I answered honestly, told her my past and how it’s been over a year now and never want it in my life again, and we had a long talk about it. It terrified her, and she then said that since she’s the one who asked she doesn’t even know if she can believe that I would have told her if she didn’t. Since my divorce I always have shared with any relationship I’ve been in, but I also am a believer that the level of sharing comes with the level of commitment and trust and not to share everything with everyone, so I was waiting a little longer since we hadn’t even labeled ourselves as exclusive. I’m kicking myself now.
She’s hurting badly, and I’m hurting knowing that she’s hurting because she feels like I was trying to hide it. And her feelings are valid and I don’t want them discounted.
More than anything I’m upset because this whole relationship I’ve been so honest with everything in my past, including things about past relationships, and it’s been in conversations where she’s asked questions and I’ve been blunt and honest, and she’s really appreciated it. Hey there, I'm currently thinking of restarting the my playthrough. I'm on lvl 6 region locked expert/expert/free and wondering since adaptive were made for a more challenging experience
But when i read some posts mentions that the best way to start the game is with rather small company with 4-6 men. Thus enabling us to farm mats easier earlier on adaptive
But if the enemy scaled and will always be 2 lvl above us, what about their gears and stats?
Say, if i have 10 armor, they will have 15 or even 20 armor. If i have 20 strength, they will have 30 strength. If this is the case no matter how much i progressed with my mercs, they will (obviously) outleveled me.
Or even if use mods/cheats and somehow created super soldier, with all of the stats well above 100, the game will counter it by generating enemies with higher stats that of mine
If that is the case, how will the adaptive experience be rewarding? Maybe on the mid or late game? As in, finally i got this legendary weapon and grind my mercs to lvl XX. I can steamroll my enemies, even if they outnumber and outgearing me muahahahahahahaha!

I don't have a relationship with my father. We don't get along. He is aggressive, emotionally abusive and manipulative. I don't live in the same state as where my family live now. I went home a few months ago to visit and reluctantly caught up with my father. But made sure my Mum and her current partner joined us (my boyfriend was there too) because I didn't want to deal with him alone. Literally within seconds he was taking jabs at me. This is after we hadn't seen or spoken to each other in two years.
I recently was overseas on a holiday in Europe. My brother, who lives with me, messaged me while I was overseas that our Dad had called and asked him if he could stay with us for a week. Bare in mind that 1. My brother has only moved in with me a few months ago as he is looking at moving to the city and needed somewhere to stay short-term, so it's not his house. 2. In the eight years since I moved and have lived here, my father has never visited me once. 3. We don't have a spare room. 4. My father is homeless and is known to take advantage of people and situations. E.g overstaying his welcome with friends who have invited him into their homes after my Mum and him separated only for him to take advantage, staying for months and not contributing anything in terms of rent, food etc. He hasn't worked in about ten years
I'm furious he would even put me in this situation knowing our relationship. Today, he messaged me on Instagram (of all places) asking me if I was home yet. Obviously wanting to know so he can call and ask.
I don't want him to stay. And I want to hold firm on that. But my Dad is psychotic and manipulative and I just know as soon as I say no he won't be respectful of that and will continue to push. I'm usually good with my words but I always find it hard to articulate myself well when upset, especially when it comes to my parents. Just played a game where I discovered the augment “Young and Wild and Free” which lets you openly move around the carousel permanently, granting you first pick on every carousel, even if you are top on the leaderboard. You can pick your item before the first players are even able to move. I was able to hit Shurima 9 because of it and had a ton of fun. I hope you all get to try it at some point.
