Currently as I’m writing this, I’ve had very severe symptoms which interfere with my day-to-day life. My symptoms have been on-going now for several months and have not improved at all. Oddly enough, I had symptoms appear at the end of October and then go away after a couple of weeks that match what I’m currently experiencing. Prior to experiencing my symptoms in October, I’ve had a number of other symptoms appear that I think are related, but I can’t verify if they are or not.
Cognitive Issues
Currently the symptom I’m experiencing everyday is a cognitive disorder. It’s hard to explain exactly, but it feels as if I haven’t slept for a week or that I'm buzzed. The symptoms are typically worse in the morning and night. If I’m working in the middle of the day I don’t experience this issue (as much). The symptom also gets worse if I do any sort of physical activity like walking my dog, hiking, or mountain biking. That being said, I do sometimes notice I feel better after doing physical activity. Sometimes the cognitive issue is also paired with odd head sensations like head pressure that I notice around my ears and the back of my head. Sometimes I’ll also have a tingling feeling that happens on the sides of my head near my ears. In addition to the tingling sometimes I’ll have an odd aching sensation on the top of my head near the vertex (the coronal suture) and back of my head near where the occipital bone and parietal bone meet. The aching sensation almost feels like my skull is about to split open. I’ve also experience increased head pressure and a pulsing sensation on my head sometimes when my cognitive issues are at their worst. Less commonly, I’ll also have issues with vertigo and balance. Specifically, if I’m walking I’ll feel like my balance is off and I’ll lean to one side- usually my left side. I’ve had on-going issues with tinnitus as well. It’s not persistent, but it seems to happen most often at night. I experience it almost everyday. Sometimes I'll lose my hearing temporarily as well and it'll come back after about a minute. Lastly, my left ear will sometimes feel clogged and nothing I do seems to relieve the pressure. My cognitive issues also seem to be much worse after taking a hot shower. Specifically I’ll have increased head pressure and have an increased jet lag/hangover feeling.
Chest Pain
The second most common issue that I’ve experienced is chest pain. The chest pain I have manifests in different ways, but usually it’s an aching sensation that I notice on my clavicle head and extends to the sternocostal head slightly and it occurs on both sides of my chest. Sometimes the pain is also a burning sensation. I’ve also had pain that occurs in my sternum that’s a sharp pain. Most often these pains occur at night or in the evening.
Heart
My heart related issues seem to happen less often, but have started becoming more frequent as of late. The most common issues that I experience is heart palpations. Commonly it manifests with either a racing heart, the feeling I skipped a beat, or a fluttering feeling. I experience these symptoms most often at night and especially while I’m sleeping. I’ve had a few incidents where I’ll wake up in the middle of the night with my heart racing. I wear an Apple Watch SE most of the time now since my symptoms started and I’ve noticed my pulse is as high as 96 when I wake up in the middle of the night with my heart racing. I don’t have nightmares- I can’t honestly the last time I remember having a nightmare in fact. My pulse has recently been pretty high when I'm sleeping as well. Usually it's between 40 - 50, but recently it's been between 50 - 70.
Another issue I used to have, but has sense improved greatly since I cut down dramatically on caffeine and stopped eating late at night is heart burn.
Rashes
Another odd symptom that I’ve started having is red rashes that manifest on my chest, stomach, arms, or legs. The rashes are usually a solid red color or are spotty and sometimes cover a large area or a very small specific area. I’ve had a very large chest rash that covered the entirety of my chest and other times I’ve had small rashes on my legs that look like a small line.
Eyes
Another very common issue for me is bloodshot eyes. I will usually wake up in the morning with my eyes completely bloodshot. The only thing that seems to relieve it is eye drops which I use at most once a day. I will strangely also sometime have very red and visible veins that extend from my pupil to the tear duck. Near my pupil I’ll have a spot that can be either very red or slightly pink. I usually know I’ve having this issue because my eye will burn and begin to water. Sometimes I wake up with this issue and other times it will come and go throughout the day. I usually notice it during the middle of the day while I’m working on my computer.
Veins
I really don’t know if this is a cause for concern or not or if it’s even related, but I’ve noticed my veins on my arms and hands are more visible than they've ever been. They’re a very deep blue color and they’re most pronounced in the morning, after I take a shower, or do any sort of physical activity.
Muscle Mass/Weight Loss
I’ve noticed that since of February last year to today, I’ve lost quite a bit of weight. Last February I weighed approximately 138 and now I weigh about 130. I haven’t had any significant changes in my diet other than not eating late at night. I attribute most of my weight loss to muscle loss which I notice physically because I’m not able to lift as much weight as I use to be able to. I use to take creatine monohydrate regularly which I know will increase muscle mass and weight so I’m sure this is part of the reason I’m losing weight, however, even after not taking creatine for several months I’ve still struggled to keep on weight and muscle mass. Since my symptoms began I’ve been diligently tracking my diet and on average I eat approximately 2,400 - 3,000 calories per day.
Muscle Twitching
This is a symptom I’ve had for at least a year now. Typically I’ll notice it in my arm near the extensor carpi radials longus. What will happen is an uncontrollable twitching sensation that will be visible if I happen to look at it. This happens on both arms around the same area. I’ll also have muscle twitching as well in my ankles sometimes, but it’s not very frequent. I've had it in my face as well on my eyes and lips. Occasionally I’ll also have restless legs when I’m sleeping, but this does not happen often.
Uncontrollable Teeth Chattering
One strange event that I had before was while I was sitting on the couch. I was feeling otherwise normal, but my teeth began to chatter uncontrollably for no apparent reason. I didn't feel cold either.
Hands
An issue that I’ve had for many years now is cold hands. Sometimes they’re purplish in color, very pale or very red. My hands will become cold for no apparent reason. They’re not cold 24/7 but at least several hours of the day. A specific problem that I have with my left-hand is that it will often be weak, specifically it’s difficult to pick things up with my left hand. Also when I type on my computer I’ll frequently have pain in my wrist associated with it. My pinky and ring finger also sometimes go numb especially if I bend my arm for a long period of time.
Arms
As I mentioned above, I frequently will have muscle twitching in my arms. Another thing I’ve noticed is that while I’ve had my symptoms, I’ve had a few nights where I’ll wake up and my arm is totally numb. Lately for the last few weeks my left arm has felt heavy and perhaps slightly numb. It seems to happen on the outward facing side of my arm specifically.
Face
An on-going issue that I’ve had for years is facial flushing. It seems to have gotten worse since my symptoms began. It feels like I have a fever, despite taking my temperature and not having one. I’ll typically notice the flushing mostly on my nose and it will extend to my cheeks. Sometimes when I get facial flushing I’ll have congestion as well. I noticed I’ll frequently have dark circles under my eyes as well. I’ve had this issue for quite a while now, but it’s become even more pronounced lately.
Feet
My feet are also frequently cold. I’ve noticed my toes often are purple. My big toe on my right foot also has dry skin. This has been an on-going issue for years. Recently my left heel went completely numb. I’ve since gotten feeling back but it lasted for a few days.
Ankles
I’ll frequently have heaviness in my ankles like they’re swelling, but they don’t appear to be visibly swollen at all. It’s been an on and off experience that can sometimes last for days at a time. One night my left ankle felt extremely swollen and painful. The veins in my legs were pulsating as well.
Thighs
I haven’t had much thigh pain, but occasionally I’ll get the same muscle twitching in my thigh or aching pain in my quadricep or my abductors.
Privates
This is one of the strangest symptoms I’ve had. Sometimes I’ll have issues where I’ll have pressure near my prostate (I think). It makes me feel like I need to urinate even though I don’t have to. Also have I finish urinating sometimes I’ll have a pain in my privates like I just passed a kidney stone which I definitely don't have.
Stomach
When I started having my symptoms I would typically have pain in areas like left flank above my left hip. It was either an aching pain or a sharp pain. I haven’t had that pain recently. Another pain that I’ve had frequently (maybe a few days per week) is located on my top left abdominal muscle.
Back
I’ve had a dull aching pain in my upper back for quite some time that I attributed to my sedentary lifestyle, but lately it’s gotten a lot worse to the point where it’s very painful. It’s still an aching pain but it’s much more severe. It's since gotten better.
Ribs
I don’t usually have rib pain, but when I do it’s an aching pain that’s tender to the touch and lasts a few days.
Breathing
I haven’t had any issues feeling out of breath at all even when I had Covid.
Nausea
Since December I’ve had nausea maybe 5 or 6 times total and I didn’t start having symptoms of it until January. It seems like it’s gotten more frequently lately. I haven’t vomited, but I have the feeling like I might.
Bad habits
I had a bad habit of drinking a lot of caffeine per day. For at least a couple of years I think it was higher than 600mgs per day. I cut down to 600mgs per day prior to having my symptoms, but I’ve slowly gotten down to having 100mgs of caffeine a day or none at all. I also used to eat at night shortly before going to bed which gave me heart burn and caused me to have sleep issues. I also used to drink lots of diet drinks like diet sodas. I’ve since almost entirely cut out aspartame from my diet except I might have a diet soda a couple times per month. I think I also had a lot of sodium in my diet from the vegetarian meat substitutes and canned foods I was eating. I also drank a lot of water per day. Probably at least a gallon.
Past events
In addition to the other strange past events I’ve had like uncontrollable teeth chattering. I’ve had a few other strange symptoms that have come and go. One such event I had was in July or September while I was mountain biking. I was biking up a hill but I didn’t feel like I was pushing my self exceptionally hard. When I got up to the top of the hill I got very lightheaded and had the same jet lag/hangover feeling I’m experiencing currently. The same happened in November shortly after I got over my symptoms in October. I had the same lightheaded feeling and cold sweats I experienced before while mountain biking. Also a few months back I had the same experience but while walking on the treadmill. I began having sudden cold sweats without explanation, but I didn’t feel light headed at all. Another time I was taking my dog
Sleep
I’ve mentioned that I’ll frequently wake up with my heart racing, but I also sometimes wake up suddenly without any explanation. Sometimes I’ll wake up because my back is in pain and I have to transition to my side or vice-versa. I’ve tried both firmer and softer mattresses and neither seem to make a difference.
Supplements
Melatonin at night to help with sleep
Cannabis sleep capsules
Gingko biloba to help with cognitive issues
Creatine (cut out since symptoms began)
Pre-workouts like amino energy or L-Arginine (stopped taking these when my symptoms began)
Energy drinks like Reign, Alani Nu, and Ghost that have 300mgs of caffeine and high B vitamins and taurine
Covid
I had Covid in mid-November that I tested negative for on Black Friday. It wasn’t severe- mostly cold like symptoms with a very bad headache and head pressure. I thin Covid probably contributed to my current condition, but I’m not sure if it’s the cause of my issues considering my major symptoms began before I got Covid in October.

2023.03.25 04:52 names_are_useless Looking for Durable Long-lasting Headphones
I should start off by mentioning that I previously bought
Logitech G PRO X Gaming Headset (2nd Generation) with Blue Voice, DTS Headphone 7.1 and 50 mm PRO-G Drivers, for PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series XS,PS5,PS4, Nintendo Switch - Black. They lasted 2 years before the Left Speaker went out. I know this because I took it to a Tech Shop I know and they told me that the Speaker itself died. The Serial Number of the inside is too scratch to even return to Logitech for fixing.
I've been struggling for years to find a pair of Headphones/Earbuds that will last for many years (5+ years would be nice). I just want a pair of headphones that will last a long time before one of the Speakers ends up dying. I've had many other pairs of Earbuds where 1 or both sides of the Earbuds die only after a couple months. I had a pair of Sennheiser Headphones (rather cheap, around $40 maybe) that lasted 4 years, which lasted the longest of any pair I've had.
I'm not an audiophile: I usually have a hard time telling the difference between the sound quality of 2 sets of Headphones. About the only time I notice a difference is with Cheap Earbuds against any other set of Earbuds/Headphones.
Any recommendations? Price is not that huge a problem for me at this point (the Logitech ones I bought have been the most expensive pair I've bought, which is probably why none of them have lasted very long), but Durability and Long-lasting is now the primary concern. I'm also look for Headphones with a decent Mic. Wired vs Wireless ... whatever generally lasts longer. I should also mention that, before now, I never thought about Closed vs Open Back Headphones; since I generally wear Headphones in order to block out sound around me, and to keep noise to only myself in my house, I guess I want to avoid Open Backed.

Magic ruler vs spell ruler??
I just won a auction on eBay for a ungraded perfect condition.
Blue eyes toon dragon (unlimited, secret rare). - 31$
It has code SRL-000
Well I just realized there is a MRL-000….
Needless to say, I don’t really know now if this was a good deal or not now.
Can someone give me a history/price lesson please.
I’m guessing though that the MRL is much more valuable, since magic ruler was changed to spell ruler because of a lawsuit.
Any answers appreciated.

2023.03.25 04:40 InfernoAA Blitz XVIII ~ “The Wager in the Aether”
| https://preview.redd.it/2qko17cd3tpa1.png?width=800&format=png&auto=webp&s=97d3625d1e97554c945c5b784501567e40e8c755 LET’S GET RRRRRRRREADYYYYYYYY TO RRRRRRRRUMBLEEEEEEEE! It’s Fight Night down in the ol’ Blitz as for one night only (with the blessings of Korean Jesus) we restore the Grand Olympic Auditorium to its original purpose – a squared circle! Hosting legendary moments from the 1932 Olympics, the shooting of Rocky Balboa vs Apollo Creed, Martin Scorsese’s Raging Bull, Bon Jovi’s Living on a Prayer music video, and now the greatest show on Monday Night television, it’ll be a night to remember with seven sizzling bouts on deck! All that action’s gotta make our fighters hungry though, so after you’ve gone some rounds, head over to “Chez Corey” – the leader in all sorts of culinary experimentations! But for now, let’s touch gloves and get to swinging! FBE World Tag Team Champion Capital STEEZ vs FBE Junior Heavyweight Champion Misery Opening the night in massive fashion is a clash of generations which could only be summed up as a dream match for many in the back as two of the hottest performing champions in FBE right now go head-to-head for the first-time ever! For nearly 365 straight days, Capital STEEZ has been the undisputed kingpin of the Tag Team Division as one-half of Michael Jackson Evolution, and if his recent performances on Blitz are anything to go by, it may not be long before he claims another domain of wrestling as his own. Equally, these past four months have seen Misery carve out an iconic run atop the Junior Heavyweight Division, now just 15 days away from surpassing the belt’s longest reign in history, and with nonstop superb performances under Pure Rules interspersing tough title defences, she’s definitely proven herself one of the faces of the division. Being on the streaks that they are, it only makes sense the world gets to witness what happens when greatness meets greatness! Prompt: Book the first year of anyone but David Finlay taking over BULLET CLUB (Max 1000 Words) A Block: Mr. Calcote Miller [2] vs Paddy Murphy [0] Blitz XVI was a monumental one for the World-Class Working Class Gentleman as many tireless nights of hard work finally bore their fruits, Mr. Calcote Miller recording his first win since returning, that too to put himself atop A Block after its first night. Two weeks having passed, the opportunity once more arises for him to keep that momentum rolling and retain his spot at the top with him running into his second challenger of the Shining Light League in Paddy Murphy. Though receiving A Block’s first night off, the World’s Most Wanted’s been working harder than ever with his Sensei between bouts of zucchini to improve his game and score that big premier victory of his FBE career he’s been after, looking to make tonight the night all those training montages will pay off. In a similar position to Miller’s first night, poetry could be in motion for the Young Paddywan, though expect to find Calcote channelling the force to try enact Murphy’s Law on Paddy! Prompt: Rebook Christian's 2014 retirement (Max 1000 Words) C Block: Ripley [2] vs Travis Broski [0] In a different standing to the previous match, this one’s composed of two competitors that indeed were involved in tournament matches on Night One to varying successes, Ripley storming in and out headstrong with 2 points to his name, whilst Travis Broski was subject to a setback, starting off on the wrong foot to leave emptyhanded. If we’ve learned anything about the Undercity Underdog though, it’s that quitting is never an option for him, hurdles only further motivating the conqueror of giants to throw heavier one-two combos like he’s Mayweather, still too early to count Broski out, tonight sure to be telling where he stands. When confronted with his division’s Iron Mike though, it won’t be easy that’s for sure, the Ripple in Time ready to tear through another fighter en route to hitting a deadly 4 points. The last time these two fought was on the Carnage Tour’s final night, going to a draw, so with even fewer minutes on the board this time, the pressure will be on as they search for who the better competitor is after all! Prompt: Book Mr. Perfect winning a World Championship of choice (Max 1000 Words) PROVINCE (FBE Television Champion T.M Imran & Erick Koeman) vs The Ark (Cactus Mike & FBE World Tag Team Champion Code Blue) T.M Imran’s 2023’s been nothing short of impressive thus far, recording his second FBE Television Championship reign to redeem circumstances snatching it from his workhorse hands, as well as claiming his own PROVINCE down in Reddit County as he builds up his own stable, all in the span of just the past couple months. With the first defence of his title scheduled to take place soon against recent Eliminator winner Cactus Mike, who just as much made the gold synonymous with himself across last year’s later stages, they’ve granted the world a preview to what’s sure to be an exhilarating fight in the form of tag team action, calling on their stablemates for support. In Imran’s corner will be the always impressive Erick Koeman, who holds a notable WarGames win to his name this year, and in Mike’s stands one-half of the FBE World Tag Team Champions, Code Blue, who has World Title aspirations on his mind. No shortage of history between Imran and Blue from their PRIMETIME days, it’ll be dynamite when matters between champion, challenger, and friends get personal! Prompt: TBD C Block: EED [0] vs Mark Steel [0] The official return episode of Blitz witnessed the homecoming of an FB Original, who boasts a career dating back to the days of FBC, and extending all the way down to Television and Commonwealth Championship reigns here in FBE, EED a forever icon as far as this company goes. One of the most scathing to ever pick up a mic, and one of the most relentless to step in the ring, the Notorious made it clear on his first night back that he was here to drill holes in skulls and… well… you know the rest. Entering his second-ever round robin tournament after making the B Block Finals back in the E1 Climax, he’s one of the most equipped out of everyone to go the distance, nothing short of fireworks to be expected in his first block match. But you can’t count out Mark Steel, the element of surprise the greatest tool in his back pocket. Harbouring a deep resentment for the old generation and an equal bloodlust towards the Juniors, Peak Performance will be at his most hateful here, which is exactly what he’ll need to face the prime loather, fighting fire with fire! Prompt: Rebook Samoa Joe's Second TNT Championship Reign (Max 1000 Words) A Block: FBE Pure Champion Dr. Logan Wright [1] vs Arslan Malik [0] In arguably the most crucial result of this tournament thus far, Dr. Logan Wright was taken by PROSPECT adversary Jay Castle to a time-limit draw, both men leaving with just one point to their names each coming out of their first matches. In a tournament where everyone’s only afforded four opportunities to make bank, every battle is that much more crucial to sink a free thrown on, that opening one very possible to prove costly in the long run. That means the stakes are even higher for the FBE Pure Champion to win every single match moving forwards, and with Arslan Malik next on the docket, he’ll be needing to sedate him quick to avoid another 15 minutes. The Ass-Kicker may not have numbers next to his name yet, but came awfully close to doing so two weeks ago, so when presented with the biggest match of his fledgling career, it’s high time for him to put on the performance of a lifetime. Two points hanging in the balance, A Block only grows all the more competitive! Prompt: Rebook Matt Riddle in NXT (Max 1000 Words) Non-Title/British Rounds: FBE World Heavyweight Champion Inferno vs Joshua Epps George Foreman vs Muhammad Ali: The Rumble in the Jungle. Muhammad Ali vs Joe Frazier III: Thrilla in Manilla. Inferno vs Joshua Epps III: The Wager in the Aether. In October and November of last year, Inferno and Joshua Epps met each other in the ring at turbulent points in their careers, both on odysseys to climb back into the annals of superstardom. Producing two very close back-to-back showdowns, they knew in those moments those couple fights would change them forever. The Aether Ace would go on to run roughshod as X Division Champion after establishing a new brutal regime, winning the Booker in the Bank Briefcase soon after and cashing it in to win his record-tying fourth World Heavyweight Championship, not looking back ever since with two momentous defences to his name. God’s Greatest Athlete on the other hand would pick up the Television Championship, producing the best run of his career yet by knocking down legendary foes along the way and putting on a fantastic performance inside WarGames, just as well not slowing down himself, a potential Intercontinental Title shot now on the horizon. And if that wasn’t enough, they’ve been standouts under Pure Rules as long as either can remember, Baba Blitz with the most wins and matches under the format to his name, and Epps making Season 2 his by acting as the single most impressive competitor down here as of late. 4 months having passed since the last time they stood toe-to-toe and produced magic, what lies ahead could be the toughest fight of their budding trilogy, the Brummie Bastard wanting to wager one more battle with one of the New Generation’s best under a format very near and dear to the formative years of his wrestling career – British Rounds. Recent 2/3 Falls and Iron Man exploits have proven Inferno can deliver when it comes to going the distance, whilst Joshua’s grittiness inside the double cages back at the Carnage Tour doubled down that he is indeed as tough as they come, so when they leave it all in the ring one final time, prepare for pure wrestling at its finest! Prompt: Book a new World Championship after WrestleMania 39 (Max 3 Parts; 1000 Words Each) Bookings are due on March 27th at 11PM EST (again, keep an eye on what that means for your time zone considering the clocks are still liable to shifting), and as usual, any issues with prompts or deadlines, report them to me via DMs. Keep the good work coming. TLDR: This is the indigenous tradition of the megalithic site today referred to as Stonehenge. A bit lengthy, but again its counterintuitive to split this into 2 thread's. Im certain youll find some dots connect, and the information will resonate. It's partly a followup from the thread
hereas well as many discoveries recently by the scientific community which confirms the accounts & why the oath "to preserve the integrity of the knowledge itself " was so important that migrations to the edges of civilization were necessary.
StoneHenge The legends speak of The Tuatha Dé Danann who brought fascinating skills and wisdom to Ireland when they arrived there. The issue ive found since moving to the west is the tendency to take the symbolism Literally & dismiss accounts as myth if they dont line up perfectly. Much taller than everyone else & having sort of aristocratic distinction from the populace. We have discovered, in ancient Ireland, there were more than a few races that existed. Among the most powerful was the Tuatha de Danann. The Tuatha Dé Danann was a magical race that possessed supernatural powers. Most of them were god-like creatures or divine beings that were being worshipped. This race was also known to believe in Goddess Danu. She was sometimes referred to as the mother, and another translation of their name is “followers of Danu”. The Tuatha Dé Danann came from four major cities; Falias, Gorias, Finias, and Murias.was supposedly meant for the Tuatha Dé Danann. The text included the following “..in ancient Greece… there lived a race of nomads known as the Pelasgians. geological analysis Durability stonehenge The core was 99.7% silica—almost entirely quartz, through-and-through, which was more pure than any sarsen stone Nash had worked on. Under the microscope, its sand-sized quartz grains were tightly packed together and supporting each other. The grains were then coated in an overgrowth cement—at least 16 different growth layers that could be counted almost like tree rings—which produced an “interlocking mosaic of quartz crystals that bind the stone together,” Nash said.
This is only learned through the serpent wisdom.
Basin at different sites across the globe, including Göbekli Tepe. The limestone surfaces of the square basins revealed the presence of oxalates, leading to speculation about beer production. However, the presence of oxalates results from geopolymer stone casting processes employed at Göbekli Tepe to produce megaliths from a liquid slurry of sand, fly ash and water. Oxalic acid was used to chemically disaggregate available bedrock into fine grains. In South America, oxalic acid residues were identified on the Saqsaywaman temple megaliths, and on the surfaces of the Tiwanaku Gate of the Sun. Göbekli Tepe's standing stones also retain residual oxalates....

Clip Basins At the Temple of Edfu in Egypt there is a wall featuring what amounts to a recipe for establishing a space that differs energetically from its surrounding landscape — a temple. The instructions describe how certain creator gods first established a mound and 'pierced a snake' to the spot, whereupon a special force of nature impregnated the mound, which led to the construction of the physical temple.
Edfu-Horus The symbol of the serpent has always been a culturally shared metaphor of the earth's meandering lines of force, what scientists refer to as telluric currents. The important realisation is that the stone circles act as amplifiers of subtle Earth frequencies, which are harmonic coherent fractals of Earth frequencies – all perfectly resonating with the Prime Resonant Frequency of the Earth.
By being exposed to the amplified frequencies of the stone circles, we are exposed to the coherent harmonic frequencies of Gaia (Mother Earth). All the cell of our bodies begin to vibrate and resonate in harmony with these natural Earth frequencies – or energies – and all the cells and organs of our body slowly start to come into coherence with the natural frequencies of Earth itself. Egyptian principles of Ma'at , Thoth (sacred geometry). TheOur reality, our physical world, and everything in creation, whether it is seen or unseen, is a consequence or harmonic resonance – where everything is manifested into physical form by its prime resonance frequency This physical form is held in a coherent grid of source-code unity by constantly vibrating or resonating in harmony with everything else in creation. From what I've seen dealing with academics & discussions of these sites, the reason there's so little known is because of the tendency to project modern beliefs rejecting sacred geometry, symbols such as
Letter h which in Alchemy meant 'grounding, or finding your center, the esoteric concepts like 'As above, so below' answer all of rhe questions anyone has.
H Modern science has much to learn, don't dismiss things that your experts have yet to discover. If you dismiss the spiritual aspects of these cultures, you'll never have the answer. Materialism was Evil in these people's eyes, the worst possible outcome would be a result of 'man becoming Materialistic' I showed all the ancient historians who spoke this and its true.
Earth energy grid is an ancient matrix of lines of subtle forces that form a pattern around the globe. Using scalar waves produced by Mother Earth advanced ancient civilizations built megalithic stone structures along these grid lines and at the intersecting nodal points. Later civilization is scientifically known that alterations in the local electromagnetic field can influence the perception of the human body and can lead to changes in consciousness. For thousands of years it was considered normal behaviour to attend these sacred sites for healing, divination, fertility and childbirth, practices that were slowly outlawed over the past eight hundred years by emerging religious dogma.
NewScience: Dr Brooker- Magnetism & Standing stones Petrological Studies At least four different types of stone in the overall structure, each brought from different locations: Over 80 5-10 ton 'Bluestones'' from Wales, the huge 20-50 ton 'Sarsens' from 20km north near Avebury, the mica-sandstone 'Slaughter stone' from Milford Haven, and the limestone packing-stones from Chilmark.. Although the area just north of Stonehenge is littered with perfectly suitable sarsen stones, the builders chose to use over 80 Bluestones instead, requiring them to transport them over 200 miles from the Presily mountains in Wales. It is perhaps relevant then that a piece of bluestone was found in almost every one of the 59 Y and Z holes. (8)
The reverence for Blue-stones was noted by Mackenzie, who said of it:'The colours of stones were supposed to reveal the characters of the spirits that inhabited them. In Egypt, for instance, the blue turquoise was connected with the mother-goddess Hathor, who was, among other things, a deity of the sky and therefore the controller of the waters above the firmament as well as the Nille. She was the mother of sun and moon. She was appealed to for water by the agriculturalists and for favourable winds by the seafarers. The symbol used on such occasions was a blue stone. It was a "luck stone" that exercised an influence on the elements controlled y the goddess. In the Hebrides a blue stone used to be reverenced by the descendants of ancient sea-rovers. Martin in his Western Isles tells of such a stone, said always to be wet, which was preserved in a chapel dedicated to St. Columba on the Island of Fladda. "It is an extraordinary custom," he has written, "when any of the fishermen are detained in the isle by contrary winds, to wash the blue-stone with water all round, expecting thereby to procure a favourable wind, which, the credulous tenant living in the isle says, never fails, especially if a stranger wash the stone." )
It seems that the specific selection of stones at Stonehenge extended to the slaughter stone which is unique at the site, being made of a sandstone laden with Mica(found at Aztec sites as well) which came from the Cosheston Beds, composed of Devonian sandstone, near Milford haven on the coast of Wales, some 30 miles to the southwest of the Presily quarries. While it is reasonably clear that the stone which once stood at the centre of the site was chosen for its unique properties, the exact relevance can only be guessed at. Kalb suggests that 'Stones transported over long distances to build megaliths were pieces of places'.
'There were also a small number of limestone blocks and slabs used in the construction of Stonehenge brought to the site for the specific purpose of packing material to support the much larger sarsen uprights. The limestone quarries have been identified as Chilmark, 12 miles west, and 3 miles southeast at Hurdcot'.
magnetometer survey of the site revealed how a band of magnetic force is attracted into the stone circle through a narrow gap of stones that act as the entrance. The band then spirals towards the center of the circle as though descending down a rabbit hole.
Two of the circle’s western stones were also found to pulsate with concentric rings of alternating current, resembling ripples in a pond. The composition of the stones and their ability to conduct energy was not lost on Mereux and others. Being very high in quartz, the specially chosen rocks are piezoelectric, which is to say they generate electricity when compressed or subjected to vibrations. The megaliths of Carnac, positioned as they are upon thirty-one fractures of the most active earthquake zone in France, are in a constant state of vibration, making the stones electromagnetically active.Significantly then, at Stonehenge we find the inner horseshoe comprised of the finely worked spotted-dolerites from the main ridge of Carn Meini in the Preseli Hills, with the outer bluestone circle comprising of unworked rhyolites, tuffs and unspotted dolerites from the outlying landscapes north and south of the main ridge. The Preseli Hills purposefully created in microcosm in the Stonehenge landscape.

2023.03.25 04:36 PappyStrangeLife The Man from Capernaum
“God said to Abraham, "Kill me a son"
Abe say, "Man, you must be puttin' me on"
God say, "No, " Abe say, "What?"
God say, "You can do what you want Abe, but
Next time you see me comin', you better run"
Abe said, "Where do you want this killin' done?"
God said, "Out on Highway 61"
The radio, a martyr’s relic from a bygone era, sounded half as faded as I was.
I reeked of vodka and middy weed. I didn’t care. This lonely stretch of highway belonged to no one as far as I was concerned, and you gambled taking the curves in the dark.
It was your fault if you choose to gamble with me. Least, that’s the way I saw it.
Texas felt so far away.
“Well, Cowboy Dan's a major player in the cowboy scene
He goes to the reservation, drinks and gets mean
And he's gonna start a war
He's gonna start a warrrrrr
And he hops in his pickup
Puts his pedal to the floor
And says, "I got mine
But I want more"
Because Cowboy Dan's a major player in the cowboy scene
He goes to the reservation, drinks and gets mean
He goes to the desert, fires his rifle in the sky
And says, "God, if I have to die, you will have to die"
I hacked up what felt like part of a lung. My hand was stained, the oxidized rust of old blood mixed with a fresh coat of red, a fresco that highlighted a life poorly lived.
Wait.
What happened to Bob Dylan?
Or was it Johnny Cash?
Wasn’t I just listening…
Gaps in time. I prayed I hadn’t taken the ketamine.
That was for later.
If you want proof time is just a strongly worded opinion, just slip into a k-hole.
That was for later.
My eyelids felt heavy.
There were no stars.
Endless pines, only shadowy outlines in the dark, still cover for the night’s starving predators, were all I could make out.
I just guessed at where the road kinked and turned and straightened.
I was playing a game with God, and I wanted to lose.
I wanted us all to lose.
“Dance, Dance to the radio
While the, Devil takes control,
Dance, Dance to the radio,
While the, Devil takes control…”
The warm hug of oblivion, a feeling like endless cookies and Saturday morning cartoons, began slipping its infinite arms around me.
Come and See, and I saw.
It was still the witching hour when I woke with a startled gasp. I could feel the claws of need, withdrawal, dragging up my arms, burrowing into my skin, making the back of my eyeballs vibrate.
Every day the need grew stronger, and every day, I killed off a little bit more of me.
One is too many, and a thousand is never enough.
I was in a ditch.
This wasn’t new or news. I tended to wake up in a lot of ditches. Beats Motel 6. Fewer roaches and you could smoke in every room.
My truck wouldn’t start.
Not even the wheezing gasps of a machine trying to cling to artificial life. Just a click and utter silence.
The battery couldn’t be dead. I checked my watch.
5:55 A.M.
I figured I’d tried to hit the eternal snooze button around 3 A.M. It had only been a few hours. Battery should be fine.
A cursory inspection showed no external damage. No blown tires, no misbegotten wires or missing spark plugs. Hell, it seemed like I’d just slowly cruised into this dark little corner of the universe.
It was as though the truck just gave up the ghost and said, "I’m done." The thirsty horse dropping to the ground in an endless desert, done with the death march.
I bear crawled up the small ravine and onto the highway.
A generous term for a lonely road in whatever the Hell backwater burg America had shit out here.
All I could see were outlines in the dark.
Fitting, I thought.
And then an explosion stole my vision.
Let there be light.
And there was.
And it was good.
Especially good.
Because it was a bar.
A ramshackle of a spot, dive joint meets biker meth hangout, from the looks of it, and it was just powering up.
Shit, if you couldn’t drink on Sunday morning, were we really free? Were we really God’s children at all?
I started ambling toward the light, my eyes adjusting to the deep gloom.
“The Man from Capernaum.”
Hell of a name for a spot in the middle of BFE.
Hell of a name.
Hell.
Hell, I needed a drink.
My watch read 6 a.m. but it was 5 o’clock somewhere, and this place had electricity buzzing it had to pay for and didn’t much strike me as the sort of establishment that probably saw the law as anything more than a nuisance.
I sauntered up to the door, my black boots clicking loudly against the rotten wooden porch.
Into the lion’s den we go.
Unsurprisingly, it was empty as a church on Friday night. Why kill the Son if you can’t have the sin, after all?
But it was unlocked and music was softly crooning from somewhere.
“As I went down in the river to pray
Studying about that Good Ol’ Way
And who shall wear the robe and crown
Good Lord, show me the way”
Fantastic. No bartender and proselyting in a shit joint. That’s just what my migraine and itchy skin called for.
I considered hopping the bar and grabbing a bottle of Jack Daniel’s, but this struck me as a place where your head might become acquainted with a shotgun right quick and nobody would kick up much fuss.
I was going out, a lamb among wolves, but on my terms. I’d had enough violence. I wanted to feel the void swallow me whole, not feel a hole swallow my head.
Plopping down on an empty stool, I risked lighting up a smoke. Certainly they wouldn’t get bent out of shape over a cowboy killer or two.
And shit, who was there to kick up dirt anyway? A ghost town without the spirits, save the ones just behind the bar and out of reach.
The tantalizing fruit in the garden.
God, I need a cold one, now.
“Till armageddon no shalam, no shalom
Then the Father Hen will call His chickens home
The wise man will bow down before the throne
And at His feet they'll cast their golden crowns
When The Man comes around”
The hairs on my arm stood up.
That wasn’t the gentle croon of some A.M. gospel channel. That was someone singin’ in the bar.
In the furthest stool at the left end of the bar, a wild looking man sat, intermittently taking greedy gulps of amber beer and singing loudly, his other arm flailing frenetically as though conducting an unseen orchestra.
Ah, good, a ninja crackhead. That’s just what I need.
He looked over at me and I leapt from my chair and damn near outta my boots.
Ancient as the hills, this man looked like he’d just come down the mountain from communing with the darkness itself.
God damn.
A wild, grey, patchy beard splayed out in every direction, as though the hair itself was trying to escape the vessel that grew it.
The crown of his head was bald but the rest was shaggy white hair, matted in some places, errantly sticking up in others, as though it couldn’t choose between electrocution and submission.
He wore what looked like a white robe, but it was stained with all manner of mess. Copper, brown, yellow, black. Blood, shit, piss, and Heaven only knows what. A fetid robe of many colors.
Tattered, rudimentary sandals held in dirty feet with long, yellowed toenails.
The man reeked worse than sulfur. Worse than death. It was like the pungent stank of the human stain clung to him with reckless abandon.
He was chubby and withered and maddened.
But none of that held a penny to his eyes.
Orbs of the purest white, ringed with seared, blackened flesh around the edges.
Nothing but endless, empty white that somehow felt like it saw nothing but what we all couldn’t see. Nothing of this world but everything we hide in it. Our lies, the horrors behind the masks, what we do in the dark, this tattered, horrible amalgam we have the audacity to still call “a soul.”
Fuck this.
I went to run but found I had no will to do so.
My boots had become one with the earth, like the leather was finally gonna join the cattle that had to die for me to feel like a man.
A crash of thunder stole my hearing, a tiny whirlwind began lifting and smashing bottles from behind the bar.
The seals of the bottles came open, spraying spirits everywhere.
The bar was alight with white fire and a light blasted through the bar that would embarrass the Sun.
Then all was silent and still.
“Nice hooves,” the man said in a velvety baritone.
I looked down at my black boots and back up at him.
There is probably a drug cocktail somewhere in existence where, if mixed properly and taken with utter scientific precision, probably unlocks the gates to Heaven in the human consciousness.
I think I might have found the one’s that unlocked Hell’s.
The man wore a wide, warm grin. Authentic and inviting, the jovial visage of every TV grandfather. Creature comfort. He no longer looked like a raving maniac.
Far from it.
The man was now young, maybe late 20’s.
Golden, feathered locks elegantly curved just behind his ears.
A black cardigan, dark jeans, and new Grecian sandals graced a well-kept temple, a body of with seemingly perfect porcelain skin.
Sapphire blue eyes, pools of painful beauty, the kind that feels like a knife twisting your gut, looked at me with compassion.
I could smell lilac and some spice that seemed reminiscent of a world long gone by but made me what want to curl up with a blanket and read a good book by the fire wafted my way.
A single, marred tattoo of a small cross ran down the index finger of his left hand.
The man sat down and said, “why don’t you and them hooves join me, Pappy?”
I go by a lot of names to keep myself safe in this shithole world, but I hadn’t gone by my real name since I beat a kid black and blue in elementary school for mocking me for it and my daddy had told me he was proud of me. Put a cigarette out on the back of my neck later that same night after a few too many for causing trouble.
The duality of man or whatever the Hell the academics prattle on about, I guess.
“They’re boots,” I snarled, playing at bravery, bluffing like I did every day of this wasted life, hopin’ it might but him back on his heels.
I didn’t know if I was messing with some damned creature not of this world or was just higher than a kite and seeing nonsense. While the latter seemed far more likely, I wanted to prepare for the former.
“Sure,” he said kindly, “sure.”
I sat down on the tattered stool.
“Where’s the bartender? And how the Hell do you know my name?”
“Calm down, son. You look like you could use a drink of the old blood. Sure beats those poisons you keep sticking in that body we gave ya.”
A wine glass appeared before each of us, filled to the brim. The man, or whatever it was, sipped away, humming some forgotten hymnal.
“I ain’t much of a vino fan. Got any Irish whisky?”
He lifted his glass as though to toast me and said “Sure. And you certainly will need that later. For now, the grapes of wrath, as it were.” A soft chuckle left his lips.
I sipped the wine. No sense bucking the bull when you don’t know how big or angry it really is.
It tasted like nothing I had ever had before. An indescribable, wicked deliciousness.
It warmed me up and filled me with light and hope and covered up all the dark holes that had punched through me by others.
Even plugged the ones I’d punched myself.
“We?”
The man took a small sip. “Sorry?”
“You said ‘the body *we* gave ya. *We*.”
It was only then I noticed he was crying.
There were no sobs, no audible gasps, no tremors or shakes, just slow, steady tears of blood dripping from those perfect blue orbs.
“Name’s Arah. I’m an Angel.”
Arah downed the goblet of wine, flecks of his bloody tears caking the glass’s rim.
“Behold, I send an angel before you to guard you on the way and to bring you to the place that I have prepared.”
This obvious machination of my drug addled brain chuckled louder this time, a slight slur and anger tinging his words.
“I’m even less for all that religious babble than I am for wine. Though this shit’s pretty damn good, I gotta admit.”
“LIAR!” Arah screamed, shaking the whole bar. His eyes were wide and obsidian and his chest heaved heavily.
“Liar.” This, a quiet whisper.
“You spent your whole life in church.
You soaked up every hopeful word, every promise of redemption and fixing, and the truth of that still rattles around inside you.
You can stick all the needles you want into that arm so you can lie to yourself and take away the pain you were meant to bear, but you can’t lie to me. We see everything, for we are many.”
Arah refreshed his glass with a small flourish of his hand before downing it again, his disposition getting slightly wobblier.
“DRINK!” he screamed, and when the world stopped shaking and those eyes turned blue again, I sure as shit started pounding the fermented fruit.
Ain't the time to be picky.
“You aren’t having a bad trip. I'm having a bad trip.”
The endless tears of blood fell quicker, like a swift red river coursing from a deep blue waterfall.
Small pools of it began forming of the bar. A slight acrid smell was on the air, barely noticeable behind all the wonderful aromas.
I felt warm and real and firm. I felt human again. My glass had been refilled and I downed another.
Okay, so I was getting wasted with an angel. Admittedly a first, even for my winding and warped road, but getting blitzed on Jesus Juice sure beat pissing off some emotionally unhinged cherub motherfucker.
“I can’t find Him. I can never find Him.”
Slight groans left Arah’s lips and he gulped down another glass.
With a minor twitch, the glass flew and smashed against the wall.
A nanosecond, if even, after the sound of shattering, it reappeared anew, full of the deep blood wine, before him, and he slurped it down his gullet.
I was trying to keep pace with him.
Shit I could drink a fifth of whisky and make it home alive but something in this good good had me slippin’. A part of me knew I should be petrified to ask, but the rest of me was too faded to care.
“Find who? What brings you here, cryin’ tears in yer beers?”
Now I was the one slurring.
“Take them.”
I looked down at the bar.
A belt. A syringe full of something brown and beautiful.
All the gear.
And six shots of what I prayed was Jameson.
“But where sin increased, grace abounded all the more.”
Arah was slurring hard now, slowly spinning in his chair, laughing and crying.
“Have a taste. At least there’ still manna.”
I shot the whole thing and downed that beautiful Irish whisky. Warmth and light filled me up and stole me away from this putrid rock.
Somehow, as wrecked as I was, I felt I could see Arah all the clearer, like the Sun pushing out the remnants of a storm. His hands looked withered, and those blue eyes looked heavy and tired.
“I miss Him. God. Father.”
I began to mumble some apocryphal question, but a raised hand silenced me.
“We’re taking communion here, son, an act of contrition, of grief, celebration and loss. I’m not giving about to give you a seminar on the finer points of how you all bungled what we gave you and called it ‘religion.’ Just shut the fuck up and drink.”
We downed a glass of wine in unison, a broken human and clearly a broken angel, performing a ritual at the alter we were left with.
“You wanna know why I’m here drinkin’? I know you do. I can hear it rattling around in that little rat brain of yours, gnawing, gnawing, gnawing.
Well, here’s why. GOD LEFT.
You remember your Bible.
Like a schizophrenic mother when the voices just crept too far in, he drowned all his children in the bathtub. He felt regret.
You apes can’t come to terms with the fact that it isn’t cognitive dissonance to be perfect and make mistakes. Your binaries and absolutes are the pathetic crutches you rest on, the prisons you build for yourselves. You think you live in the grey but you don’t. You are the simple minded mistake of something far greater than you could possibly fathom.
Hell ain't nothin' but a door locked from the inside.
He was right to drown all of you, ya know.
You’re an abortion that didn’t take.
You’re the science experiment gone wrong.
You’re the motherfucking poisonous residue left over when the manufacturing process goes the slightest bit awry.
He TRIED. He gave you EVERYTHING. And you chased him away.
He wanted to put you all down. Wipe the slate clean. Shoot the wolf with the broken leg caught in the trap. Mercy. But He had made those fuckin’ rainbows, and He kept his word.
You all sit and pout and scream and gnaw and gnash and blow each other up. Always the same shit in this horrible flat circle.
"My god is real, your god is fake! "
You never once consider you’re all talking about the same damn thing, and more to the point, you're spend your entire lives debating His existence. What a catastrophic waste to be so far from the mark.
Is He real? Is He a fairy tale?
Is there a big bearded man with a sword in the sky or is it just what some primitive apes told themselves to explain the lights in the night sky, a mechanism of control and purpose in an entropic and meaningless world?”
I felt frozen listening to Arah rant.
Somewhere, between the distant sound of brutal words, I heard that radio kick on.
“The Third Planet is sure that they’re being watched
By an Eye in the Sky that can’t be stopped
And when you get to the Promised Land
You’re gonna shake the Eye’s hand”
“You won’t.”
Arah spoke quietly and sipped and audibly sobbed.
“I…I won’t what?”
“Shake his hand. He’s GONE.
You all fight with words and books and swords and shells and atoms about whether he exists. It’s your relentless, simpleminded addiction to dichotomy. It would be so boring if it wasn’t so sickening.
You think He exists, and if He does, He is here and He loves you and hears your stupid little prayers about football and bone cancer and bank accounts and AIDS.
And if He doesn’t exist, well, it’s just a bunch of conmen working over some fools with a fairy tale.
Any of you shitbirds ever consider He exists and LOATHES you? That he cut the cord to that existential phone line and ain’t nobody on the other side of that line anymore?
You live in an infinite universe that is forever exploding and expanding. He exists outside of even that.
You think you’re special? You’re one tiny experiment among so fucking many, I couldn’t make the smartest mathematician in the history of this planet understand how infinitesimally numerically irrelevant you are.
The question isn’t, is God real or is it all a hoax, a self-delusion?
The salient question, Pappy, is whether He’s here. And He ain’t.
He kept his word and let you all live and fester and replicate and mutate like the virus you are. The fruit that ate itself.
But daddy split. Went out for smokes and He ain’t never coming back. Moved onto a new family. Just like He's done again and again and again. And I'm guessing will keep doing 'till He decides He got it right. Ain’t been here for a long time. Long, long time.”
6 glasses of wine appeared before Arah and he downed them all with lightning speed, spewing blood, sobbing and gasping and drinking.
His hair greyed and whitened and fell to the floor.
His nails began to decay and yellow.
The smell of shit and piss and bile crept up and began to make me nauseous.
“And you know who got really fucked? US. The angels.
God gave us instructions and we followed it. We knew what we had and we didn’t deviate. We did our duty. And He left us behind, too.”
Arah’s clothes began to whiten and dirty.
The enrapturing blue of his eyes began to fade, growing paler and lifeless. A wild, twisted beard and belly began to sprout.
“Then it goes and takes along with it seven other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there; and the last state of that man becomes worse than the first. That is the way it will also be with this evil generation."
Arah began shrieking.
"Fucking humans.
I AM AN ANGEL OF THE LORD YOUR GOD, AND I AM BOUND FOREVER TO THIS SHITHOLE OF A ROCK, ENDLESSLY SEARCHING THE COSMOS FOR A FATHER I CAN NEVER FIND, TRAPPED IN A PRISON I CAN NEVER LEAVE, FOR A CRIME I DIDN’T COMMIT.
YOU ALL DID THIS.
YOU ALL DID THIS.
YOU DID THIS.”
Arah leapt up and grabbed me by the throat, lifting me on high.
Fire scorched his eyes, leaving empty pale pools singed to a blackened crisp at the edges.
The wild, infested thing I’d seen before held me as though I weighed less than the judgment feather.
He was sobbing.
“I…I just did what I was told.
Do you know what Hell is? There’s no fucking lake of fire or torture rack with goats.
It’s this.
An endless existence having tasted God’s grace and love and then forever being separated from it, eternally searching for that one drug you know you can never find.
'Abashed the devil stood and felt how awful goodness is and saw Virtue in her shape how lovely: and pined his loss.'
This, this place, is Hell.”
All the opium in the world couldn’t save me from the stark terror of this celestial’s tortured judgment.
I was quaking and pissed myself.
“Now I got ya shakin’ in your boots. Nice hooves.”
He threw me and I slammed against the wall and I felt every ounce of wine and heroin and whisky spill out of my body and onto the floor.
In that moment, I felt the unmitigated suffering of absolute sobriety, and I’ve been sober every moment since.
This wild, unfettered thing inched closer to me.
It was only then I noticed the tattoo on his finger more closely. It was…clearer to me now. Everything was. That little cross on his finger was upside down as it faced me.
“What does your name mean, Arah? What did you do that made God leave all his angels behind?”
Arah opened his mouth and two snakes, one a viper, the other a colorful coral, slid out of his mouth and began encircling his head and neck, never striking, never squeezing, simply coiling infinitely.
“YOU FUCKING APES. I’LL RIP THE SOUL OUT OF EACH OF YOU AND EAT IT FOR LIFE ETERNAL.”
Arah, this manifestation of man’s worst nightmare, leapt at me, blood spewing, snakes dancing, the bar shaking and burning and reeking.
Alas, Babylon, for me.
Inches from me Arah froze, held still by some unseen force, his mouth snarling words that only came out as unintelligible, wet squelches.
A voice from the bar’s door whispered a single word.
“World.
In the first tongue, 'Arah' meant ‘World.’
At the door stood an older black woman with the kindest eyes I’d ever seen.
She wore a bracelet of thorns and a dress made of every flower my mind could conceive.
Golden eyes flecked with amber looked at me lovingly.
She quietly sauntered up to Arah and shook her head wistfully, a disapproving but loving mother wishing her child would just behave.
“You would do well to accept your place here, Arah. The Father may be gone, but this is where you and your lot stay. It was not man’s fall that bound you here.
Tell him what you did...Angel.”
Arah fell suddenly to the barroom floor, all the strength clearly sucked out of him.
“I..I did what I was told. I followed the orders I was given. It was for Him, Uriel.”
Uriel tutted her tongue as though an impudent child had told her a silly, obvious fib.
“You can lie to yourself all you want, Arah, but you cannot lie to me.
You, who whispered endlessly to Herod.
You, who dwelt in Caligula.
You, who served Qin Shi Huang.
You, who sought refuge in Robespierre .
You, who possessed Mengele.
‘And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling—these he has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.”
Uriel helped me to my feet, brushed me off, and lightly put her hand on her cheek. It was the only moment in my life I knew what the word “home” meant.
“And you won’t lie to Man, either.
You remember the deal you begged for, Arah? Let remind you:
'They began to entreat Him, saying, “If You are going to cast us out, send us into the herd of swine.'
You had the gall to call his creation, however staggeringly imperfect, swine.
You got what you asked for, then.
And you will have it for all time.
Get behind me.”
Uriel picked me up as though I were a mere baby and carried me to my truck. She laid me gently in the passenger side and started the engine.
The radio kicked on.
“I’m a rolling stone
All alone and lost
For a life of sin
I have paid the cost
Take my advice
Or you’ll curse the day
You started rollin’ down
That Lost Highway”
As she pulled away, I looked back at The Man from Capernaum one last time.
It was consumed in fire and the squeals of pigs shrieking carried through the cool night air.
“Do not pity him.
‘You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons.’
God may have left this world but let the Demon burn.”

2023.03.25 04:35 MoirtzwithaT Shower Thought regarding League Theory and League's longest lasting Meta
Before I begin I'd like to preface this post by noting that this will be a bit of a long one. However, for those of you who appreciate theory and content creators such as LS who brings novel thoughts and challenges players to thinking more critically about this game we all play and (maybe) enjoy, I hope it'll be worth a read.
To those of you somewhat familiar with Dopa and his YouTube content probably know what I mean when I say he's got 2 primary types of videos he posts. One being gameplay videos and the other being these videos where on a blank MS Paint file he'll just talk about the game, writing and drawing along as he shares his thoughts. Though I certainly appreciate his high level gameplay videos it is the the latter that really piqued my interests and had me coming for more before I eventually moved on.
Despite the large variety of topics he discussed is his "Talk" type videos, the one thing that stuck in my head the longest was the so-called "EU Meta." (Couldn't find the video unfortunately).
Though this was years back and my memory is a little hazy on this, the EU Meta refers to the Top, Jgl, Mid, Bot, and Sup lineup/roles the 5 players of a team will assume. As I first started playing Season 8 I'm sorry if I'm mistaken, but this Meta dates back all the way to the very first Worlds Championship where Fnatic, an EU team would go on win in part by using this distribution of roles hence giving it its name. Though I can't really speak for the first 8 years of Leagues existence, I'd assume given it's Season 1 start and its still exclusive use, this makes the EU Meta League's longest standing Meta.
As I understand it, the whole reason behind this lineup lies in the importance of Dragon as well Rift Herald back then having been a lot weaker (Also the difference in lane length between Mid and Side Lanes). However, since then with the addition of Turret Plates and other Buffs, Rift Herald has become a lot more valuable. Although realistically Dragons are certainly still more important, if Herald were buffed to the point where it were more valuable than Dragon I wonder whether players would even consider allocating two players Top rather than Bot
Since my Season 8 start I've only really seen 2 Instances of this Meta being distributed. One being the Funnel Meta and the other (maybe somewhat of a pseudo-example) being the Janna/Support Top Meta (To note, something like the Mages Bot Meta back when ADCs got heavily nerfed I wouldn't count as two players were still allocated to the Bottom Lane). The Funnel Meta in particular I personally greatly enjoyed watching as not only did it bring something different but also saw great success and presented itself as a genuine alternative as how to lineup.
A couple years ago I remember watching a video from the OpenAI Team who had created an AI capable of beating the best team in the world in a different very popular MOBA Title. Ever since then I'd hoped to see someone do something similar for league. Not necessarily to see an AI mechanically outplay Pro Players but rather see how the game of league would be played when played "perfectly." As I understand it, many AIs trained to play games such as Chess, Go, or even perhaps League one day do so by first drawing data from millions of games played by actual players and improves from there on out learning with each additional game played against itself or humans. If however there was a way to train an AI with no such pre-existing games (as it will likely lead the AI to adopt the EU Meta) and it got to the point where we could unanimously agree it was playing at an extremely high level, would said AI implement the EU Meta? Though not fully-relevant to the point it would also be highly fascinating to see how a "perfect" AI would then approach draft as well.
Somewhat like in Football, I consider the EU Meta too potentially be somewhat similar to the 442. To anyone unfamiliar with Football, perhaps the most logical way of lining up with many successful teams using it back then yet nowadays it's certainly seen much less than it used to. Despite what I've said thus far, it is not as though I believe the EU Meta is a non-sensical way of lining up. Far from it. There's certainly reason why its been almost exclusively been the way players line up ever since Leagues inception. Yet what I ask is whether it is the only way of lining up and playing the game as it has been thus far. Going back to the example of Football there are a variety of formation and the one you choose may be decided not on the strength of a formation itself but how well a formation suits the players you have and the strength/weaknesses they exhibit.
Assuming for a second that in League there are multiple genuinely viable formations you can play with 5 players on the rift, imagine the implication this would have. Despite being Korean, seeing a Pro-Play environment where Asian-Teams seem to simply "be better" isn't necessarily always fun to see nor lends itself well to viewership (I'd assume). Something 2019 G2 for example did to to overcome this (apart from just being really good) were weird and untraditional picks. I still to this day vividly remember the horrors of the Pyke Top that would eliminate SKT in what was probably that MSI's "real" Final. When you simply can't beat them "traditionally" why continue trying? It is human instinct to try and change the approach/methodology of something that continually fails and a lineup change would represent one such way of doing so. Below is one example of a simple lane swap that net TL a nice early game lead against DWG in Worlds 2019 though everything after that would go sour.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eZwpgWLRfU8 Additionally, something LS always mentions in draft would also see major implications. Recently in his Draft Kingdom video reviewing the FNC vs VIT matchup he mentioned that the only way of deceiving your opponent in draft would be the use of flex picks. Now imagine a world where you are able to flex your formation. Suddenly the already high level of intricacy to draft has shot up even higher. Though formations may vary, fundamentally you would still want all your champions to synergize meaning this might further encourage teams to pick champions of similar "Themes" that lend well to each other and counter those of the opponents.
I guess probably important to mention in the end is that I am someone who barely ever really even played the game and much rather prefers watching it. One big complaint I saw with the aforementioned Funnel Meta was that it was not fun to play against. Suffering greatly from the smurfs and Duo Queuers that would abuse this strategy. Taking a case-study from the game Overwatch, it is one example of how a change in the meta in the from of a formation change (2 Damage, 2 Tanks, 2 Support to 3 Tanks and 3 Supports) can lead to un-fun gameplay which can basically kill a game. Regardless how much innovation and novelty a formation change may bring to league, if it comes at the expense of enjoyment of the overall player base then it is something to be avoided as was the case with the funneling meta.
Shortly after the discovery of funneling and widespread use, Riot would eventually change Smite and Jungle Item so that funneling would no longer be possible. It seems Riot is pretty dead set on the EU Meta being the way how league should be played and if that's something Riot decides, no matter what innovations are thought up of there won't be any way of them being long lasting if Riot nerfs it immediately. Just the removal of Funneling in my opinion largely removes some of the potential formations one might use such as a double funnel comp where blue side jungle and lane funnels a AP Carry and red side jungle and lane funnels an AD Carry with Mid being whatever necessary for example. The longer lanes of side-lanes might have facilitated funneling better as well when compared to the mid lane funneling meta with minions often dying to tower. Also only having one side of the jungle to clear would further have lead to less minions being missed and double smite would have its advantages too.
TL;DR: Questioning whether or not the formation of TOP, JGL, MID, BOT, SUP is the only way of "lining up" and playing the game. Just to mention it once more, I first starting playing around Season 8. There's a lot I certainly don't know about and perhaps there have been genuine attempts at revolutionizing how the game is played with the end conclusion being that the EU Meta stands on top. For me personally it seems as though players have become so accustomed to TOP, JGL, MID, BOT, SUP that no-one has taken time to consider whether or not this is the best or only way of playing. I don't by any means consider myself some genius at the game and lack the high-elo experience to make any great insightful comments on how different formation pitted against each other will likely turn out. If anything I hope this post leads to some interesting discussion and if someone is certain that the EU Meta is indeed the only way of playing the game as it is now (given the outright removal of strategies such as funneling) I'd love to hear the arguments as to why.

2023.03.25 04:14 Bright-Time3773 Look max post about color analysis, make up archetype, facial features, shapes and colors
So recently I've been researching about things like color and shape psychology, kibbe, casting, face reading and of course color analysis. Whether you like it or not, what color you wear gives a vibe to others unconciously. This is going to be a post about look maxing or simply choosing what vibes you would prefer to give off of rather than forever be kind of a victim of how you look. This post can also help you with choosing make up looks that are more suitable for you. So this post is going to be divided into three parts: Color analysis, how shapes play a role, and what your make up archetype might be.
Color Analysis: So I have noticed that each season gives a vibe. Let's start by talking about the basics of season analysis. There is value level, hue, chroma. Hue being warm vs cool, value being whether you are light or dark, and chroma being the overall contrast level whether you are soft and have more grey in your coloring or bright.
I'm also going to touch on how to apply all of this to people of color so hold on.
This is what I've noticed in general when I followed the general pattern:
Low contrast, being light, and cool undertones - almost exhibit some sort of purity and exhibit a need to be protected almost. On the contrary, this is usually used to depict the ice blonde stereotype in movies (summer)
Warm + Low contrast + Light -Exhibit being fun and cheerful, (think blonde stereotype), down for anything, light sex appeal (eg blake lively) -The whole tik tok trend of being the light feminine is exemplified by this -think spring
Warm + Low contrast + Dark = Hot, sexualized, sultry, calm, cozy, probably a little more mature than the above, maybe serene, maybe a little bit more introverted but very approachable. (, jessica alba, maybe nina dobrev in her looks in vampire diaries) -so think autumn
Warm + Low contrast in general whether light or dark exhibits a tendency to go with the flow and overall "easy" and these women are usually portrayed in hot girl next door roles.
This is because when it comes to warm colors: red signals danger but passion, yellow signals cheerfulness and lively hood and it's next to red in temperature, and brown signals sensuality and earthiness.
Low contrast looks typically signal a lower ability to discern and warm colors typically signal being inviting as you know it's usually warmer seasons where things grow. So in general, hair color stereotypes are actually more likely to be seasonal stereotypes. One of the coolest colors in nature is also the rarest which is blue. This is why warm low contrast tend to seem easy, more basic, but will appeal to more types of people and you'll see casting follow these basic rules.
The key here is to add that color to your overall appearance (eye, hair or skin). This can be added through bronzer or blush etc.
Warm + High contrast seems just as friendly but a little more practical, sensual and mature.
Lastly high contrast + Cool usually gives off femme fatale yet intimidating vibes. Very powerful but might scare off people. Think megan fox.
Anyway, another thing to note is contrast is more than your coloring, it's the contours of your face, how angular your face is, and how much forward projection it has. Some girls have more angular features with more forward projection. Some girls features take up more space and some girls features take up less space.
I want to touch on shapes. Disney usually uses shapes to make their characters give off certain vibes. Circles tend to give off peaceful, friendlier and emotional vibes. Squares seem to represent sturdiness and stability and may point to the masculine principle. Triangles are used by disney to indicate evil characters or to reframe it, more craftier and interesting characters.. Ovals seem to be like circles but seem like it gives off more serene, ethereal, wise vibes. And if anyone's been around the circle that talks about kibbe body types (although this particular style isn't in kibbe), you'd know that ovals or the S curve seem to imperative to the ethereal look.
This also means that if you want to give off a certain type of vibe, it might be a good idea of incorporating these shapes into your overall looks might be helpful.
This is why it's so important to not follow trends and use and do what's best for yourself.
Which brings me to my next topic: Make up Archetypes:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q0AUWyp01eg&t=388s Anyway, I'm going to leave this video right here for anyone that wants to take this quiz. She has two scales to decide upon what would make your make up archetype. Neotony and overall roundness of your features.
Why is this important: It is important on deciding whether simple make up styles, light make up styles, or more sultrier looks will suit you. Also, more neotony your face has, the more lighter hair colors will suit you. She uses visual weight to define neotony.
Neotony/Low Visual weight: rounded face + shorter midface + smaller eyes + lower nose bridge (flatter face) + wider nose, smaller mouth
Rounded features : rounded features, rounded eyes (doe eyes),lower nose bridge/less angular nose, round eye brows, thick rounded lips.
At the other end of the spectrum/axis, are the opposite of what I explained.
High visual weight: angular face + longer midface + bigger eyes + higher nose bridge/more projected nose bridge + narrower nose + wider mouth
Angular features : angular features with more shadows, contures to the face + siren almond/narrow eyes + higher nose bridge/more forward projected nose bridge + angulahigh arched eye brows + thin lips
These are the spectrums. This is exactly why blonde hair washes some people out but makes other people beautiful (those with lower visual weight/neotonous features look great with blonde hair). This is also why a lot of make up and smokey eye make up just look bad on some people as does thick eye brows.
This is also what some people call high trust vs low trust features. Also, another thing to keep in mind when trying to curate your style, what some men find appealing is not what
most men find appealing, and what women find appealing is different from what men find appealing.
It is very important to curate your style for YOURSELF but I'd like to high light this point for those that are trying to be attractive for a certain type of gaze. Women typically love striking, high contrast, complex, low trust, higher visual weight looks which are
still appealing to men but that doesn't minimize the strength of the alternative as well.
To sum it up on average: high contrast, striking, low trust features, mature looks are irresistable to
some men, and considered top tier by women. But many men find this look very intimidating.
Low contrast, younger, fresher, lighter looks, lower visual weight are usually considered low maintenance by women but preferred by the
common man
These are just my observations.
Now for darker ethnicities. The same rules applies for the most part but for caucaisan women, usually hair plays a huge role when it comes to color analysis, here the focus should switch to mostly your skin tone because that is what is most
noticeable. Somethings are more in relation to others. For example, I doubt you'll find a colored women that is truly a summer. But amongst that ethnicity, it is pretty obvious to say the difference between a winter with higher contrast in relation to ethnicity and a summer with lower contrast.
So for example, a POC with cool undertones will never be as low contrasted as a white girl who is a summer but that doesn't mean summer colors won't look good on them and that doesn't mean they won't give summer vibes. But the main focus should be skin tone here. And added clothing colors, make up colors and hair colors should be added to compliment their skin tone.
For example, a POC with a reddish undertone will exhibit a similar vibes as a true autumn white woman. Angularity and softness of the features should also be taken into consideration and can point to contrast levels in relation to their respective ethnicities. Eg a black woman with very soft features and a cool undertone might look very summer-esque so in this case, lighter make up styles might look better on her
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1UuPlqEj9uY&t=467s This is a good channel about color analysis for people of color.
https://www.reddit.com/coloranalysis/comments/104p70e/season_color_analysis_quiz_for_browneyed/ This might also help for woman of color when it comes to color analysis. SO what to really take into consideration is features + skin tone for color analysis of woman of color.
She's absolutely right in this quiz when she sums up the seasonal beauties as :
Summer: Bright, approachable and cute
Spring: Elegant, gentle and fresh
Autumn: calm, mature and gorgeous
Winter: Cool, striking and gorgeous
Anyway, this is my two cents. I hope you enjoy this post. This post isn't intended to be the be all or end all and I can be wrong. It's just my observations and the conclusions I've come to and it's something I'd like to share.

2023.03.25 03:41 MickIsShort4Michael Asked this on r/amex but just got downvoted to hell. Amex business vs personal (Delta vs vanilla). Hoping I can get advice here.
I have an amex blue vanilla. I also have the Amex Delta in both Gold and Platinum. I am thinking about a business Amex Reserve Delta, but not sure how they all work. I would assume that the Business Reserve Delta card would be issued based on my personal credit, but would it help to build my business credit? Not sure how business vs personal credit cards actually work.
I wouldn't mind the higher annual fee on a business card as that can be added to business write offs, but not on a personal card.
Can someone break down how business cards work vs personal cards (and whether the co-branded are the same in this regard)?

2023.03.25 03:31 rct42 Thoughts on my second custom bat (Sanwei Fextra with 729 Battle 2 and Yinhe Big Dipper)
A month ago I assembled by
second custom bat. It is quite similar to my
previous bat which also had a Sanwei Fextra 7 Blade but with different rubbers. I decided to assemble a second bat as I wanted to experiment with slightly different rubbers and join the "blue sponge" gang! My thoughts so far after playing with my new bat for 40 hours:
729 Battle 2 Provincial Blue Sponge 2.1mm H39 (vs H3N Commercial 2.15mm H39):
- B2 had one layer of Seamoon booster before it was cut and glued to the blade. On the previous bat I used the H3N without boosting for ~40 hours before applying two layers of booster. I remember how the H3N felt for the next 30 hours and it was amazing! While I like how the B2 plays at the moment, I plan to add another layer or two of booster to it.
- B2 was way tackier to begin with and still feels tackier than my H3N was at a similar stage of its life.
- B2 has a harder sponge and a firmer topsheet. The topsheet doesn't seem to have a same bite as H3N and doesn't feel as grippy but this isn't necessarily a bad thing!
- B2 has a "lower throw" and is faster. For the same forehand topspin motion, the arc of the ball tends to be lower which makes my shots faster and more direct. Conversely, my forehand topspins with the H3N were spinner and landed with more "kick".
- Flat hits and counter-drives feel better with the B2.
- My serves with B2 have less spin but for me this has been a good thing: it has forced me to focus on my third ball attack.
- B2 is slightly lighter: 48g vs 52g (~50.5g if the H3N had only one layer of booster).
Yinhe Big Dipper 2.2mm H38 (vs Palio AK47 2.2mm Yellow):
- Harder sponge and less forgiving.
- Semi tacky topsheet (Palio AK47 is non-tacky).
- Able to put more spin on the ball, especially so when the sponge is activated. I'm able to put a lot of backspin on pushes.
- BD has more power in backhand loops especially counter looping from the table.
- BD is significantly heavier: 52g vs 40g. Fortunately my new Fextra 7 is lighter (80g vs 85g) and while both bats are around 180g, the new bat is noticeably more "head heavy".
Overall I'm happy with the new setup and felt it offered a natural progression: the new bat felt similar to my previous one but requires a little more skill to use effectively.
