So I am a district sub in Southern California. Summer is coming up, and even though the general consensus has been “subs will not be needed unless informed otherwise”, last year the school ended up asking subs to pick up some day-to-day jobs, so I was hoping that this would also happen this year.
However, as I was picking up the keys for my job today, I heard another sub tell admin that HR told them that they would be using agency subs for summer this year instead of district subs, and that if he wanted to work during the summer to sign up with an agency.
No disrespect to agency subs, but I do feel irritated that 1. This information wasn’t relayed to me when I asked HR. 2. That agency subs are getting priority over the district.
I like working for the district, and the secretary at one of the schools I frequent wants me to become a resident sub for them next year. I firmly believe that thrown weapons and Bows are in serious need of some touch up. More specifically, i'm talking about the Non-Explosive ones.

1. Every non explosive thrown weapon and bow should have their ammo max sligtly reduced but the ammo should drop on the ground once used, meaning you can pick them back up much like what the "amalgam Daikyu Target acquired" allows you to do but with a base 100% chance of recovering the projectile.
2. Magazine capacity mods should give twice(or even three times) the bonus to thrown weapons and bows and shoud give bonus base multishot equal to the Magazine capacity of the weapon. I.e: a bow has a mag of 1, shoots one arrow. trough mods you can increase the mag to 2 or 3 and it basically emulates the "legolas thing" where you cock three arrows at the same time and shoot them. This should work like the "multishot uses ammo" that we are seeing in incarnon weapons.
3. All thrown weapons (and maybe bows) shoul have a secondary fire that allows to shoot a fan of knives/arrows in the same way that the Fusilai(Gara's kunai) consuming the appropriate amount of extra ammos.
4. Arrows should have infinite body pounch trough as the default value. if i have the skill to line up a 5 people shot, let me do it without having to gimp my damage in order to mod punch trough on my weapon.

What do think about this?
P.S: also, on a different note, sniper rifles should 1-hit-kill on headshot regardless of any value on basic enemy units.

Almost every fight, with the exception of maybe one fight every other week is the same exact thing.
-Ki blast cancel at the start -Constantly step vanish until someone goes in for a hit, misses, and then is wide open -Get out of hits via netcode (I've won matched because of this that I shouldn't have and vice versa. so glad the effects play when I actually didn't hit them) -Get put into a mega damage combo and either limit burst or take it Rinse and repeat until the match is done.
It isn't fun, and it is even worse when I go up against mega sweats with custom mentors who also "voice"line spam. I miss 4-5 years ago, PVP used to be more fun but I find myself playing XV2 less and less and mostly using it for offline stuff. Call me skill issued or whatever but I just flat out don't like where PVP is at the moment and I doubt it will be fixed and/or changed in a way that'll make me enjoy it again (My only joy comes from rare matches without tryhard shit or when I am fighting someone new so I can play like I used too)

I’ve been looking to branch out with different shoes for different runs over the past year and have received some great advice here so I figured I’d post my little problem here in the hopes of finding an answer.
So my current rotation is

• Daily Trainer - Novablast 3
• Recovery and Long Runs - Invincible 3
• Plated Shoe for long runs - Deviate Nitro 2 (used to be Zoom Fly 5)
• Race Day Shoe - Vaporfly 2

I love my NBs and Invincible and the VFs work out great for races. They all feel great on my feet. I could go miles and miles on either of them
The issue I have is with the plated shoe for long runs since I don’t want to break out the Race day shoe for the occasional long run and don’t want the easy pace of the invincibles. Maybe a slightly uptempo run at threshold pace or just below MP every other week for 12-16 miles.
I initially purchased the zoom fly for this purpose but it started hurting my ankle and arch. I figured it was either the plate being too stiff or the recycled zoom x being crappy, so returned it and bought the Deviate Nitro. While I find them marginally better than the ZF5s, I still am sore the rest of the day and the issue hasn’t really resolved. I could do the same run in the invincibles and feel great afterwards.
Is it just that I have a weak foot and can’t do plated shoes for longer runs? I raced a half in the Vapor Flys and felt perfectly fine. So not sure if that was it. But the vapor flys do seem more spongy and sink in better so feel easier to me.
Or is it that I’m picking the wrong shoes and there are better ones that are plated and or faster but not as stiff as the ones I have? Or should I ditch the plates altogether till race day and just stick to the 2 shoes I know work for me?

Hello everyone , i've recently been eyeing a used pair of hd650s on the marketplace in my home country going for 150 euros, however, it is still quite far away from my home , so i've been wondering how to check the headphones. To my knowledge the hd650s are quite hard to drive without an amp , paired with the fact that i do not have a portable amp, leaves me quite uncertain in making the trip to purchase them. Of course, you'll have the typical perils of nuclear war. Near-complete destruction of all participant nations, as well as radiation and nuclear winter affecting even the countries that didn't participate. But the antimatter bomb will introduce another aspect completely. The large amounts of antimatter that react with normal matter will tear a hole in this plane of existence.
The rigidity of our plane of existence will lessen, and the very laws of nature will change. We used to have "magic" (Back then, perfectly explainable by science) when our plane was more fluid. Hence why every culture has some folklore about magical creatures and magicians. But as time went on, our plane hardened and this stuff became less possible. Occasionally, paranormal and supernatural occurrences happen, due to small fluctuations in our fluidity caused by interactions with other planes. But, it'll come back in full when the antimatter bomb stretches out our reality again. Beings from other planes of existence will rush through, and new ones will rapidly evolve on Earth due to the loosened laws of nature. Once again, these monsters existed long ago, but went away, hence why we have folklore about vampires and zombies and whatnot.
It'll be the end of human civilization and possible human extinction. I personally know that I survive until 5 AAB (After Antimatter Bomb). I'm looking at a 2016 model tomorrow. If all checks out I'll probably be bringing it home. I know these bikes have some quirks so I'm wondering what do you recommend to make owning the bike more pleasant? Are there any particular bolts that I should loctite to prevent vibrating loose? I will be using it about 60% dirt/40% street.
Also, I haven't ridden a motorcycle in about 9 years. I grew up on dirt bikes, that false confidence caused me to wreck pretty bad on the street when I got my license. I know these bikes are powerful, it will be the most powerful dirt bike I've ever owned. That being said I'd prefer a plated dirt bike over a dual sport, and having something that cruises at 55-70 so I can use it as a light ADV/motocamping for rides with friends is the goal alongside single/double track. Am I making a mistake and getting something too powerful? From what I have read the 350 EXC-F would struggle on long motocamping trips with the extra weight. I can't really justify getting a 2nd bike since the waifu is already opposed to me getting one to begin with

I’ve been on Semaglutide for two weeks now. 5 days ago, I decided to put on a Continuous Glucose Monitor (CGM). I used to have a subscription to Levels Health, which provided two CGMs per month. I have some leftover from that. It has been very eye-opening. I’ve had minimal side effects, but every time I’m fatigued, It’s because my blood glucose has dropped below 70mg/dL.
I can definitely see the effect it’s had on my blood glucose. While I’m eating less, no matter what I eat, my blood glucose never goes over 100mg/dL, and my average is 75mg/dL. In the past, before Semaglutide, my average glucose if I wasn’t doing low carb could be as high as 140mg/dL (and I am not pre-diabetic or diabetic).
I see so many posts from people with side effects (fatigue, headaches) that can be explained by low blood glucose.
Because it’s so effective for me, I am going to delay my next shot until the effect on my blood glucose decreases (and to stretch out the doses I have due to the shortage). When you want to know WHY your body is acting a certain way it’s so helpful to have DATA. There is NO WAY I would increase my dose now based on how 0.5 is impacting my blood glucose.
This is also why I recommend weighing yourself every day. If I only weighed myself every Friday, I would have thought I only lost 1 pound (I weighed 186 on 5/19 and 185 today 6/2) But since I weigh myself every day, I know I weighed 189 on May 16th and 183 yesterday, so I’m calling that 6 pounds lost. Due to a huge meal last night (good morning migraine and stomach ache!) I’m not freaked out about weighing 185 today.

Maybe that title is a bit too cheesy, but I really do like exploring the night sky. Helps especially since my hometown was a great place to do so. That all aside, hello! I am Pydras, fat cat collector, lessor avatar of chaos, and most boring of all, corporate accountant. I am to find people to potentially connect with and see what develops. Whether that leads to friendship or something more will remain to be seen, but life is short so have to get out there and try!
A little more about me! As stated earlier, I am a corporate accountant, working in BC, currently planning to start saving up for a house where I am at now. I am quite fond of cooking, and decent enough at it as well! I would say at least 67% of it would be tolerable to most people. Since my job is basically just sitting around all day, I try and workout at least three or four times a week to stay active and in shape. That being said I do have a sweet tooth that I am quite good at managing, except for my weakness of homemade baked goods. Art wise, I really have no skills in most of those areas except for writing (use to do some RP back in the day). Well, I do make quite the horrible MS Paint masterpiece if the inspiration hits, so that might count. Politically I am quite on the left side, and religion wise I tend to fall more into agnosticism and atheism.
For subject interests, my top three would probably have to be history, geography, and geology. One of my favourite things to do when bored is open Google maps and go to a random area and see what I can learn of those three for it. However, my absolute biggest interest and the one I hold closest to me is music. While I can't really play an instrument (have been trying to relearn piano), I usually have some sort of playlist on if I am not too busy or in a loud environment. I can literally go into paragraphs upon paragraphs about some of my favourite songs. Just about what I like about them, how they make me feel, etc. I am always up for sharing or creating playlists with someone, I truly feel like music is one of the better ways to get to know someone. My usual genres end up to alternative, indie, and math rock, but I will really just listen to anything that I like the sound of.
Hobby wise, it sort of depends on what time of the year it is. If the weather is nice in the spring or summer, I love to go for long walks and hiking. Just being out in nature beings a sense of relaxation and peace you can't get anywhere else. Plus, the views, just all the amazing views and secrets you can come upon. When the weather is not as pleasant or it is winter (so quite a few months here), I am usually found being a homebody. Probably no surprise, but gaming is a major filler of my time when I have nothing else to do. My main game right now is FFXIV, realized today that I have been playing it for over half a decade at this point, how time flies. I do enjoy the Paradox Interactive games as well, especially with all the amazing mods some of them have. Like music, I could spend hours talking about some of my favourite games. Would also love more people to play with, generally not picky about what, as long as you don't mind me potentially sucking. Gaming with people is always such a joy and fun time. I can be quite the reader if a particular book or series catches my attention. Once burned through a trilogy in a week since it captivated me so much. One of the dangers I found with me reading is I'll always go for one more chapter, then suddenly it is 3 am. Don't really have any specific genres in particular, though I am quite the sucker for some good worldbuilding.
I could probably keep rambling about myself, but why take away all the fun? As said before, I am looking for someone to see what kind of connection we can build. Location wise, for something more than friendship, you would likely have to be in Canada or have plans to move here. She told me she did see him but only once while out (later I found a note with a message explaining how she’d done a big thing going there and that she wanted to meet up before she went back) after her trip she came back to where I was living and stayed with me for 2 months where I found a lot of stuff that made me suspicious, when showing me something on her phone I saw that she had a dating app and when I confronted her she said her friends told her to download an app and she didn’t no what it was and when she saw what it was didn’t use it, I also asked her 3 questions 1 I knew the answer to already and the question was very simple and not anything that she would need to lie about anyways she did. I didn’t mention anything and just carried on. We had sex multiple times before the 2 months and it was okay but while having sex during the 2 months we lived with eachother she told me nobody has ever made her feel that way and that she had never ‘came’ like that before and from then onwards she’s been very wanting me and protective of me, she wants to make plans of travelling the world with me but I just feel no trust and feelings wise I’m unsure as well.
Should I continue or end things? Am I overthinking? How to explain to them how I feel?

My family was in Argentina in 1960, probably Buenos Aires but I don't recall. We hit up a steakhouse for dinner (as one does in Argentina). The salad was served family style, and dressed at the table. The waiter prepped the greens, drizzled on the olive oil, then sprinkled salt into a large spoon, poured vinegar over the salt, and used a fork to dash the vinegar and salt mixture hither and yon over the salad before tossing.
The technique seems to me to have hit the perfect balance between low labor and high drama, and made, as I recall, a delectable salad. Was that more-or-less unique to that restaurant, popular in Argentinian steakhouses in the early '60s, or everybody does that and I just haven't been watching?
