When does Toro typically announce/release new walk-behind lawnmowers?
I'm in the market for a gas-powered walk-behind mower. I know Honda is exiting the market soon, so I'm debating on picking up a new Honda HRX or a Toro Super Recycler.
I'm not in a big rush and can even wait until 2024 to purchase one. However, my problem is the following:
  1. At this point in time, I've narrowed my options between Honda & Toro. Of the current offerings, I'd like to pick up the Honda HRX before they discontinue in September of 2023.
  2. If Toro releases updates or new models with improved Briggs & Straton engines or alternatives to those engines, I'd like to wait to see what those options are.
    1. The problem here is that I'm located in California and the sale of gas-powered lawn equipment will no longer be allowed in 2024, but I believe I can still purchase them online from out-of-state stores.
    2. And if I wait until 2024 and there are no new models offered that are better than the current, I lose out on purchasing a new Honda HRX.

I was trying to update my previous post regarding a Glock 34 Slide from Brownells that had quite a bit of rust on it. I didn’t see an option under the three dots menu so I felt lead to create an updated post.
I was super stoked about today because I’m scheduled to get my Timney alpha trigger, the slide, and some other goodies for my build from Brownells.
Well, I got a package a few minutes ago. It’s the new slide! I’m super excited, I’m about to check it out and start building the upper. I opened up the box and I realize It’s slightly better than the first… It looks like they knocked off some rust but there is rust in the same places as before and some NEW spots (on the front of the RMR cut and rear sight cut). I feel like a Karen for being pissed. But I was really looking forward to this and doing the build this weekend.
I called Brownells Support and they are sending me another slide, and I am sending this one back. If their customer service wasn’t so good and I didn’t get the slide on sale on the initial purchase, I would’ve just got a refund. The lady that I spoke with did say that this could be a result of nitride residual solution on the slide that resembles rust but I’m pretty certain it’s just rust.
Am I overreacting for sending a slide back for a second time? Should I have just get some gun oil and cleaned myself?

I have to be vague in order to avoid being found out.
This is my super villain origin story.
I had been working in a large Healthcare organization (hco) for 8 years in various roles while going to school. Once I graduated, I wanted to stay on at this organization. The bummer was that the department that I wanted to work in was contracted to a third party. No matter, I decided to go for it. I took an entry level role and was quickly promoted within six months.
About 8 months in, the company I worked for was able to convince the hco to amend the contract, at over 300k per year, to add a brand new role and department. Think facilities mixed with IT and cybersecurity. I would be reporting directly to my VP and actually outranked my manager at the time.
I was tabbed for the role. I was given a raise and promotion to be the department of one. I was through the roof happy. That's when things began to crumble.
I wasn't given a proper laptop and was told to use my own. When I complained, I was told to use a cheap desktop that I could take out in the field--not practical. I wasn't given proper tools. I wasn't given proper training. Nevertheless, I soldiered on. Now I know the role was new and that there wasn't a playbook on how to run this department. However, I knew that other hco that had started doing this had teams of a dozen or more. I was getting killed and had no support from management.
I ended up really effective in this role. Went out and got It and cybersecurity certs. I wrote scripts to automate a portion of my job and put in a ton of paid OT to get the launch of the department done. All of my spreadsheets data and software were on my personal laptop.
3 months into my new role, I was called into a meeting. My VP tells me that they were reassessing my title and didn't feel my title was appropriate. He gave me my new title and said that my duties wouldn't change. Well, in this company, title determines pay. My new title meant a 20 percent pay cut. He also informed me that I would be an exempt, salaried employee with no overtime. I accepted and began my payback immediately.
I quickly reached out to my old classmates and within a 2 weeks had a job offer. I accepted and put in my two weeks notice. My last day would be six days before we were to give a status update and make good on some deliverables. My boss assumed I would just keep on soldiering along and pretty much avoided me. On my last day, he asked me to give him the run down. I told him everything that I could accomplish with my desktop was on the desktop. I left it at that.
After I left, they realized I hadn't touched the laptop and I thi k they realized they f*cked up. I never got a call or any communication. My former coworkers told me that they went full panic mode and had to bring in two guys from corporate to make up for my work, each at twice my salary. They also had to pay for missing a deadline.
And that, kids, is how one man destroyed my sense of Asian submissiveness and turned me into the antiwork villain who looks out for himself and job-hops from one job to another to get better pay and situations each time. Screw corporatations.
TLDR: I was demoted and left the company, screwing them over in the process

So I've got one for the ford techs. I've got a 2016 Expiration EL (autocorrect struck, but it seems fitting so it stays.) with a dead right steering wheel switch pack. The switch pack was replaced to no improvement, so that has me worried about the clockspring on this one. Replacements aren't cheap so it's been a bottom of the list repair for a bit now as I can live without radio controls on the wheel. Then here a bit ago Ford recalled the 2016 Super Dutys for airbag issues originating in...the clockspring. My reading is that foreign material causes wear and severing of electrical connections. My understanding is that both the Super Duty line and the Expidition line were produced at the Kentucky plant in 2016 (and I think still are). Given that the clockspring issue sounds like an issue in assembly, and both lines were assembled in the same plant, what would the odds be of Ford covering at least part of a clockspring replacement on an Expidition even if it wasn't specifically listed in the recall?

I have been working a part time job for four months now and have a good relationship with my boss, but specific coworkers have shown to be pretty terrible. I am non-disclosed in this environment and it’s becoming harder and harder for me to mask, which I learned from getting fired from my last job is kind of essential to do. I got fired for no disclosed reason shortly after disclosing my diagnosis and being caught unmasked and having people call me unprofessional for not being super smiley all the time; they thought my straight face meant that I didn’t like them personally. Anyways. A couple of my current coworkers are not performing their job duties at all; I work with children and we are supposed to be instructing them, but these people will just play games like hangman with them, sit and look at their phones, talk about their personal lives with them, and be mean to the disabled ones that they can’t socialize with. It’s honestly disturbing to me. It bothers me more than the fact that they haven’t been the nicest to me, which is something that began on day 1. I can handle it because I’m an adult and I’m used to shitty people, but once you do that to children, I cannot just witness that and do nothing. They literally call the autistic children names like crazy and weirdo, and encourage other students to chime in. One child I was instructing was too scared to go to the restroom when she needed to because another instructor kept yelling at her not to and blocking her way, even though I had given her permission to take a bathroom break, and I was the one in charge of her at that time; the other instructor is my equal, and was not in charge of this child. She always makes extremely ableist comments specifically towards the learning disabled and autistic children and it is extremely upsetting because these kids get totally demoralized and can’t focus on their work because they don’t think they are capable of learning anymore. I’ve also bonded with these kids a lot due to our similarities and it’s something I’ve really enjoyed. I know that the ND educators in my early childhood made all the difference for me, so it’s something I want to provide myself. It makes it hard for me to do though when other adults my same age and younger are mistreating them in the same space. I don’t know how to talk to me boss about this because I know he is already struggling to hire and keep employees so he’s kind of stuck with these crappy people. He’s even confided in me about it, and implied that he’d fire them once he finds people to replace them, but we are already short staffed so that will take a while. I just don’t know how to make things better for these kids, because it’s really not okay what’s happening. As an autistic person myself, I struggle to know how to react to it in the moment and just sort of freeze and start sweating because I am a slow processor and it’s also a trauma trigger for me. I just want to figure out how to help these kids without getting fired myself for “causing a stir” like I have before.

Super new to power BI ( all i took was the DIAD course)
I have been tasked to create a dashboard using data from sales force.
I’ve gotten to the point where i have filtered the desired information, and calculated the desired info.
I’m trying to create a relationship so the graph will show the ratio of the amount of cases satisfied at a 2 hour closure rate and I also want to show by type. but i am not quite sure how to do that.
for columns completed i have the opened case date and times, closed case time and dates, aggregated time difference between the two, and the type of case it was.
I just am not sure how to draw the relationships within the model tab as it has all the categories under one umbrella. Is it because i only used one source? not sure how to separate them and make the arrows connect for the relationships.
Any suggestions?

My wife and I bought a used 2021 Ford Mach-E last week. It was dirty, covered in pollen and we didn't see anything wrong so we went to do the paperwork. Only after everything was signed did the salesperson tell us that their detailer noticed a bad scratch and tried to sand and patch it. This was done without us seeing the scratch so we don't know how bad it was (on passenger rear door). The repair looks horrible! But we had to take it home because they were closing on a holiday weekend.
I took it back to the dealer because they said they'd try to fix it, but they said they can't and that it has to go to a body shop. The sales manager said he'd give us money for repairs but wouldn't indicate how much. We're worried it will need to be repainted and that will effect the value of your vehicle.
What would you do to resolve the situation? I'm not sure what the dealer is on the hook for but they agree that they tried to fix the scratch without permission. Thanks

ETA: Mispelled "advantage" in the title. 🤦🏻‍
I (F/30) run a small, successful craft business and have a relatively large following on social media. I also recently moved to a new area and started hanging out with a group of women (F/30s) that share an interest in the same crafts. A few of these women also have a craft business, albeit not as well known as mine.
While I enjoy spending time with them and they seem to be well-meaning, if they're having a sale or promotion for their business they'll outright ask me to promote it on social media. I of course do it because they're my friends and truly admire their work ... but I can't help but feel a little taken advantage of. It also bothers me because when I was getting my own business off the ground, I never asked anyone to promote for me and worked hard to get to where I am.
One of them just texted me: "Hey! I just released (a new thing)— can you share it and mention I'm having a sale? Include coupon code xyz..."
I just feel like, wtf?! I'm not your marketing assistant. She's super nice and I want to support her but I don't like it when she does this. Any advice?

What are your thoughts on having a GMMTV live musical?
Please excuse my super-ultra-mega imagination, I just feel like voicing this out so I could go to sleep already.
Given that there are little to no restrictions already, I was thinking of having a live GMMTV musical that would make a crossover of highest-rated GMMTV shows? After seeing the crossover between Bad Buddy and ATOTS yesterday, I would say that there is potential (far, but there is) for other shows to have crossovers that would not only feature GMMTV BL couples, but also the company's wonderful actresses. Here is how I imagine the live musical to be like:
  1. Overall Theme - The theme will be a GMMTV Multiverse Across Time, where different characters will be in one play. However, they will not be played by their original characters (e.g. Phupha will not be played by Earth, Tian will not be played by Mix). The roles will be played by non-BL + female actors under the company to give them exposure, and to introduce them to the general public. Singing, dancing, and acting skills all trained at once.
Side Idea: What if this play is Pat and Pran's play turned into reality? What if Chinzhilla was invited to compose songs for the play? Can SingJan be together for this play too?
  1. GMMTV's Best OSTs (Energetic Orchestra or Pop Version) - By best OSTs, I mean those originally sung by Gawin Caskey, Aye Sarunchana, and Ford Allan. Other OSTs will be great too, as long as they fit the theme.
  2. Live Product Placements - Lowkey want to see artists drink Oishi, eat Texas Chicken, or try Nivea Micellar on live. It is an interesting way to promote, I would say.
  3. A GMMTV Live Musical Kit! - Only attendees will have access to the GMMTV Live Musical Kit, containing special photocards, a playbill promoting old and new talents, and probably other stuff that would immerse attendees into the play.

Hi there,
I’m old school. Played D2 back in the day and remember getting my Barb super geared, mainly focused on him as my main character. With gaming changes now a days, and companies needing profits, Seasonal/Battlepass seems to be the new normal. As someone with limited play time, this kinda sucks for me. I enjoy the aspects of the dungeon crawler genre, login and kill monsters, get some loot, all at my own pace. I’m a solo-lone wolf type player, none of my friends play Diablo, but I love the interactions with other players in the open world that Blizzard implemented.
However, as a long time WoW player, I enjoy the feeling of character development, making one character super strong and invest most of my time into one character. I feel like with seasons, this game lacks this type of play style for people like me.
My main questions-
What are battle pass tiers? Is it like Call of Duty where you have different parts of the map to unlock for all the rewards? I got the $100 Ultimate Edition so I have skips to use. Is this the same concept for Diablo?
Will I have any fun focusing on one character, or will most of the best gear and rewards be from doing seasonal content? Seems like Eternal Realm is just a showcase of your past experiences and achievements on your characters? So the character I’m leveling now will just be my Eternal character to unlock the campaign and seasonal stuff?
Sorry if these all seem like silly questions. Basically wanna know if I can enjoy the game as a solo player and if I do spend most my time on the Eternal realm gearing out and farming stuff on one character if I’ll be missing out on major items from seasonal stuff. I don’t have a problem doing seasonal, I just hate feeling rushed since I have a family and life outside of gaming, so it’s a bit more difficult for people like myself to keep up with the hype.

How much should I sell my first painting for?
I’m a 15 year old artist who got offered to sell one of my paintings to a hall monitor at my school after our art show. She’s really excited to buy it and frame it in her house. This person has been very supportive of my work and loves it all. Apparently she has another painting that it would go with perfectly. This would be my very first official sale, and I’m not sure how to price it. I asked my art teacher, and he said that I should sell it for 20-25 dollars. I just want a second opinion before I make my sale official.
Side Note: I’m super excited to sell it. I was so surprised when my art teacher told me she wanted to buy it. It’s amazing that anybody but myself and my family would want to have my artwork in their home. Unrelated but, I’ll probably use the money from this to buy Rick Riordan’s new book.
